Love the bar, however they're policies make no sense. They seem obsessed with bookings. I was here on Saturday afternoon 27.11.21, and they turned lots of people away. I counted at least 25 empty seats. Just let people be aware that they may only have time for one drink before the table is taken. (If indeed the reservers bother to turn up). I walked in and was offered a table until 1530. Fine. I was one person on a table of 8! Crazy. What happened to first come first served? Makes me so angry. It's a really bad way to treat people who just want a beer or two. It must be nice to be making so much money that you can afford to turn away business.

Great place for a drink and a good atmosphere! Have had a few good drinking sessions here and would recommend for this. However, had food for the first time and have to say, it wasn't good value for money to be honest. Quite pricey with small portions and the quality was just above the mediocre line. But definitely not good enough to justify the cost. With all the great burger joints around cardiff city centre now, I just dont think this matches the competition. But you'll have a good pint...or third!

We had a fantastic afternoon here. Obviously, the beer is amazing 🤩 🤣 and the burgers are super tasty! Safe, clean environment, we actively witnessed staff cleaning tables and chairs throughly after use and major touch points. Staff are super friendly and helpful too! If you’re in Cardiff, visit! I have been to this particular Brewdog a few times and I have always enjoyed it. The food and various beverages are great. Lovely atmosphere and run by some great staff. It can be an expensive night out and very drunk night out with whe ales etc they have there. Food isn't the cheapest but it's nice. Would be nice to have a side of fries when you pay £10 for a burger. But hey ho.

The best thing about drinking at Brewdog is the beer. Which makes sense as the whole place is geared towards beer. I had four or five different pints and woke up without a hangover, which I consider a genuine achievement. The staff are really friendly and informative about each beer, helpfully recommending beers they think I'd enjoy and getting it right time and again. I really enjoy this pub and will be coming back time and again!

Can't really knock the place, Brewdog have found a winning formula that suits them with their venues and whilst nice you sometimes wish they were a bit more different. Staff were nice and the beer was good though I always think a bigger range of guest stuff would always be appreciated. that being said I did have a couple solid guest offerings from both tap and fridge so really I'm splitting hairs. This is certainly a nice place but of you're visiting the city as I was you'd be better served visiting some of the more unique/local/independent venues that the city has to offer.

Great selection of craft ales, a few lagers and plenty of wine to choose from. Some very tasty, and very strong beers, that change regularly. Currently the strongest on offer is 11.5%!!! Be warned though, check when you're ordering, as some beers only come in 1/3pint, 1/2pint and 2/3pint and still priced at what you'd expect a pint to be. Plenty do come in pints though! Also is dog friendly

Visited this branch yesterday and had a fantastic time. It was the first day reopening after Christmas lockdown and the staff were amazing. Our waitress in particular went above and beyond, lending my friend a phone charger and just generally making us really comfortable. The food was amazing. We were all vegan and made the most of the 2-for-1 vegan burger deal on Mondays. All were delicious and reasonably priced. The beer is of course good too, an interesting range and lots to try. Would come again, especially on a Monday, and would recommend.

BrewDog never disappoints and Cardiff was no exception. We had booked but had turned up really; no problem at all and were seated immediately. Wide selection of unique beers both regular treats and guest surprises! Great selection of fresh food available too; we ordered burgers which were all amazing. Many vegetarian and vegan options available. Easy to order online or though the app; bar staff were knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly as always.

It’s a little pricey but that’s what you’re going to expect when you’re buying great craft beers rather than a pint of Fosters. Highly recommend Brewdog.

Friendly bar serving lots of different beers. Can work your way down the list or pick and choose at your leisure. There are board games etc as you walk in which you are more than welcome to take to your table for a good laugh with your friends. Been here a few times and always had a good time.

Food was good but bar snacks were pretty random, I just want some normal peanuts or salt and vinegar crisps, but I guess they're too normal. Pricing varies from reasonable to expensive but I would recommend simply for the variety and the fact that you can take away.

Amazing service with a large selection of unique beers, the peanut butter and jelly brown ale was fantastic. the chorizo dog was delicious very boar like flavour. after that for aiding digestion we had a whiskey and pickle shot which was a very interesting experience. very much recommend this place!

First time out since pre-lockdown. I was super nervous heading out into town on a Saturday night and everyone at Brewdog made me feel so safe and welcome. The system is brilliant and super straight forward, the staff are super on it and manage to still give you an excellent experience even with all the restrictions in place. If you want a nice evening out and some fun beers - brewdog cardiff should very much be at the top of your list.

I absolutely love this place, it's quiet, not busy, always some great music in the background and the best part is FREE BOARD GAMES AND POOL! This has been one of my locals since moving to Cardiff 7/8 weeks ago. I always love coming here and trying some of there different brews. Food is decent as well, especially the buffalo wings, they are to die for! Craig one of the managers here is always very helpful and is more than happy to advise you on Beer choices and what's new. Usually offering tasters before you buy, which is really handy! He certainly seems to know his stuff and is very passionate about the brand which is refreshing. Just like my Beer of choice at the moment, Elvis juice! It's fantastic and is back on draft again. Go pay them a visit and check it out for yourself. Cheers BrewDog for a lovely tipple

Wonderful pub, perfect for beer connoisseurs. The atmosphere is lovely and the food is great. The beer selection is vast, but non-beer drinkers may find their options limited. I'm not sure if they still serve tea, but I've stopped ordering it because a lot of the staff struggled to make a good cuppa.

If you like Brewdog beers you'll of course find the widest selection here and it varies too. It's relaxed inside and is clearly aiming to be that distressed trendy look but it works. The staff are knowledgeable and will let you sample the beers.

We are both investors in the Company and relatively frequent visitors to this bar. It has recently undergone a refurb and we must say that it is much better. The beers available and the responsible way in which they are served, i.e, limiting the stronger brews to smaller measures , goes towards making it an enjoyable experience without the attendant drunkenness you see in other bars.

The food looked good although we didn't try any and there were a great selection of beers on tap although why some came in 3rds, some 2/3rds, some halves and others pints is a mystery. I would have given this a much better rating had it not been for the music which was loud but not distinguishable and just added a kind of white noise layer making everyone shout to be heard. It meant we left after a few drinks.

It's BrewDog, so there's a huge variety of quality beers available, and a bunch of different ways to try 'em out. Another not so obvious plus is the variety of seating available - whether you're on your own, with mates or in a date, there's probably a spot for you here, and it's great for a post-work drink or a starting spot for a night out. Service has always been friendly, and even though the beer selection can be a little intimidating they're always happy to help find the right type. It's not really the ideal place if you're looking for a varied food menu, although the Veggie Patty is definitely one of the best sandwiches I've had - full stop. But if it's beer you need and a relaxed place to drink it, you could do a lot worse in Cardiff.

Draught beers are served in 1/3 pint 'schooners' which seems a bit unnecessary, but that's their usual can size anyway. Go there to try the more unusual Brewdog beers which you might not find in the supermarket.

I'll admit now- I loved Brewdog's beers before I'd even stepped foot into one of their bars. However, getting to try the beers on tap, with the incredible knowledge of their staff to guide and inform only helped cement my opinion that Brewdog is currently the best brewery in the UK. The bar itself is what you'd expect from somewhere selling craft beers - industrial, yet cosy. Modern, yet shabby looking. The chairs themselves look like they've been handmade, welded together from scrap metal. However, why not play one of their selection of board games while you sit on them? That's the kind of place this is. And I can't get enough of it!

A good modern place to have 'brew' (Hops based alcoholic beverage) but missing a bit of the charm of more local places. Lets get this straight, this is a chain, which I think tries too hard to imitate the whole grunge aspect of modern 'pubs'. For instance the seating outside at first glace looks naturally weathered, but on further inspection is just mass produced imperfections. I am sure, along with pre-hole jeans, this suits some people but for me is just taking the whole thing too far. At the end of the day, what matters is the drink and atmosphere, and this is okay.

I'm not sure if they still serve tea, but I've stopped ordering it because a lot of the staff struggled to make a good cuppa.
