K. H.4 stars for friendly staff not sure if they sell food at all or not just today ? I think it's the 1st pub I've been to that don't have high chairs crazy so not so family friendly in that respect

A. O.We have used this pub for over many years as it had a great atmosphere and you would always bump into someone you would know. We visited on Saturday 19/02/22 in the evening there was a fair amount of customers in which was great to see. The staff are friendly and we’re ensuring customers were getting served quickly which was really good.
The Guinness was not the best it had a sharp taste to it. Then they had a disco type thing going on which was so LOUD a lot of people started to leave I asked if this could be turned down slightly and the reply from the barmaid was “ I wish it could be love but we been told no” I am sure it was above the health and safety noise levels no one could hear themselves speak what a shame.
The gents toilets were dirty and one of the cubicle doors was hanging of its frame. The standards sadly have slipped quite a bit since our last visit.
I marked this three stars mainly for the noise level of the music the quality of the Guinness and the standard of the gents toilet. The staff are great this place just needs a tweak to get it right.
