M. G.The best katsu chicken burger I've ever had. It was so good, I forgot to take a picture and I'm already looking for an excuse to go back. We went on a concert day so it was really busy but staff were all lovely and prepared for the hoards of customers. Decent wine prices so we shared a bottle. Lovely place to recommend to anyone.

Our meals were freshly prepared and delicious and the helpings were large and plentiful accompanied by great beer and excellent wine

P. D.A very nice atmosphere. Very good selection of beers and ales. Food is nice too. A good selection of main course and snacks. The bar service is very good and polite. Great to sit in the window and watch the world go by.
N. U.Lovely place the staff are very friendly and the selection is great. The food is ok though when they say wings tossed in sauce gives you plain unseasoned fried wings and a side of raw peri sauce which is a little underwhelming. Over all one of the best places in Cardiff but the food could do with a bit more care.

The only reason I gave 4 star's and not 5 is due to the fact that if you have mobility issues then you will find this place a real challenge indoors. Also the seats on the lower level are all bar stools and you need a booster seat to reach the table! Very uncomfortable. I will sit at the back in the future

G. T.Five stars because the food was really good. Not 5 star restaurant good but, for pub-grub, absolutely superb. I had the chicken and wild mushroom pie and my wife had the Favourites Platter. Both very tasty and more than we could eat. The only criticism is that, on the day we were there, there seemed to be a limited selection of cask ales. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere for a city-centre pub.

J. A.Love this place, it's low key with one of the best whiskey rang I have ever seen. The staff where cool & give good recommendation. They sever ales from local breweries. I can't say they sever common largers like Carling but that what makes this place something about special. This is place is some where you go to chill out either to end the night or just enjoy other people's company.
The whiskey in the picture is glenmorangie 10 year old scotch.

L. D.Nice bar, and perfectly situated, but slight problem, and that's the bar gentleman. Finished out long 12 hour shift ad mental health nurses to have to wait 30 mins for a pint to come to the table. When questioned where our drinks were after 20 minuets he then rolled his eyes, which is what you standards do to paying customers.

K.Bit of a nightmare. Wasnt allowed to book table, then we couldn't get a table for 4 . Then we finally did only to be served food of a sub standard rate. Mine had been kept under the heat for so long all the Bbq sauce had dried up and my husband was served packet ham , not Wiltshire ham as stated on the menu. Wont eat there again

L.One of the spots I bring friends if they're visiting. Quite expensive (think £5.35 for a brewdog) but the staff are friendly, the food is tasty and the atmosphere is great.

W. “. A.In May this year me and my wife were wandering around cardiff looking for a place to just sit for a while have a drink before our restaurant booking later on that evening. We appreciated that lockdown restrictions were still in place, we tried to get access to a few pubs but even after queuing once we got to the door we got “Sorry your not booked” really disappointed with the “(Owen Glyndwr)”especially… your customer service is absolutely shocking and your staff should be retrained!! In customer relations.
As we passed by the Glassworks, I just casually asked, do you have any seats available the young lad from this establishment went above and beyond trying to get us in, which he did, the service we received was outstanding the Drinks and Food service were second to none. I will be returning to the Glassworks any time I’m back in Cardiff and highly recommended to anyone looking for a great place to eat or drink with a company that cares!

A. A.Not the best time to go given the current situation but it was what you would expect from a 'pub grub' place. Had the sharing platter with wings, fries, fish fingers and beef burger sliders. What we needed but nothing to cry home about. Pretty standard food. Decent pints. Shame about no cocktails but than can't be helped at the moment.

A. V.The Glassworks is an upbeat, smart and cosmopolitan Greene King owned restaurant, pub and bar located right in the city centre of Cardiff.
The quality of food is very good, the food portions are very good, they offer traditional, classic and more upmarket standards of foods whilst keeping a simple touch and is reflected by higher prices, but is very justified; the members of staff are polite, helpful and provide a good service, it's nice to be seated outside to see the different scenes that pass you by, on the inside the building has televisions, modern lighting and architecture.
It is a recommended choice to visit regularly.
J. S.Proper shame this gaff as a beer journalist I expect a bar to know what they're selling.
It says craft outside but they don't know much and I had to educate the barman on Brewdog of all beers.
Please educate your staff.
I will say the lads were cracking and we're joyful and full of smiles but this just show r customer service is too heavy over product knowledge.

The gentleman behind the bar took time to serve my guest and I the coffee and cake, this type of great customer service is become very difficult to find in Cardiff these days. So it's a very big, big 5stars for Glassworks and I definitely recommend the whisky 🥃 too, it goes down well after a great tasting coffee ☕. Great guys, great service 👏 👏 👏

s. i.11 of us had our Christmas do here, everyone enjoyed the starter and main course but dessert was below par. Service was excellent, thank you Leon and the team for looking after us. Will be back soon.

Not sure I would've been happy paying more than tbh as it was mediocre at best buy can't complain too much at that price.
