M. Z.Popped in as meeting point before going for a curry at Jashans. Arrived approximately at 1645, and there was about 20-25 other patrons in the bar and lounge areas at that time. We spent a good 90+ minutes chilling and drinking in the lounge. Service was pretty quick. Staff were alright, could've been a bit more happier though. Beers were varied and many on tap. Prices were decent. Will go back though to see if I'm being too harsh with 3/5.
N. K.Found this pub by absolute accident on our way to the Ed Sheeran concert. Nice clean pub and facilities, reasonable priced drinks. We even stopped by for a drink after the concert. Really nice experience :)

S. C.I enjoyed a Xmas meal here with my team from work. It is a decent pub with two bars that has the feel of a ”local”. I am not a great fan of Brains beer so had a glass of red wine. The public bar has a pool table.

A. N.My first visit since lockdown and it was good to be back.
Only one member of staff working but the table service was good and I enjoyed a few pints of Brains Bitter.
Had a meal of gammon and chips, very tasty and a good portion of everything.
Everything was reasonably priced and will certainly be returning. Highly recommended.
j. p.The only hotel I have stay that offer bed baths I was a bit shocked but luckily I wanted a happy ending. Because things could have got awkward. He didn't seem like the type to take no for an answer.

S. P.Nice pub went up for food and had the 2 meals for £12, my partner had the fish which he said was nice and I had the chicken, although tasty was extremely dry. Also I had a large glass of wine which was £5.30 and then we found out that Thursdays could have got a deal for just £10 a bottle, the bar lady really should have told us this but didn't !!

K. M.Popped into the Heath for a gathering with old friends, and was very impressed! The atmosphere was very inviting and friendly and the staff were lovely and friendly and very knowledgeable about the drinks being served and quick to replenish glasses always with a smile.

L. J.The staff were really nice, went in wrong bar with my dogs, only wanted to buy my drink and go outside to drink it and be on my way. They were very polite, said I couldn't bring my dogs in that bar but I was more than welcome to take them in the other bar, I explained I just wanted to buy my drink I would be going outside, was served with no fuss.
B. C.I've reserved tables here a few times, ordered food in advance, all the staff have been very helpful and friendly. Never had any terrible with other patrons. Conveniently close to home - well, my home anyway.
L. H.Looks nice on the outside but could do with a bit of a renevation on the inside. The drinks are more expensive than I had thought they would be. I had a pint of Stowford Press which cost me £3.70. The pub does have a pool table and dart board that looked in good nick and seems to be popular with locals. I didn't try any food there.

S. W.What a lovely warm and friendly family pub, I took my family here for Sunday lunch we had a 3 course meal for a fantastic price. The food was amazing even the kids ate it all. Highly recommended.

Love my homemade pork scratchings from here, and nice selection of SA Brains beers. Staff has always been friendly and attentive. Wish you guys were in Roath!

Atrociously slow service. It was a quiet lunchtime when I visited so there was no good reason for the very lengthy wait to be served at the bar. Goodness knows how they cope if they ever have a crowd.

However, the atmosphere is good, with a games room, and not bad staff.
