Well the steak is amazing (I had rib eye) well done to the chef. Tastes better than top end restaurant. I had it now second time and it's still 10 out of 10
Staff lovely and engaging, check back is done twice even though is busy.
I certainly recommend to come in for a steak meal.
Ł. I.
Lovely old pub with nice atmosphere and lovely prices for great cask ales!
C. S.
Good city centre pub conveniently located for a well deserved time out of shopping being slightly away from the crowds. The ales and bitters are well kept - and they have boxed ciders behind the bar which are worth trying. We didn't eat there but the menu looked extensive and there were quite a few people eating so must be good.
M. T.
Proper old fashioned pub. Had steak and chips there too, was very decent and good price.
Friendly staff, central location, good range of beers and not too expensive.
M. G.
A chilled atmosphere, friendly staff and a very reasonably priced selection of food and drink. Unfortunately their only non-alcoholic beer is heineken 0%, but they redeem themselves with their food menu (their 16 ounce steak is usually spot on!)
R. J.
If you are coming for a pint and a game of pool it’s great. Can’t comment on the rest.
G. J.
Had breakfast here Sunday morning, went large for 7.99 and omg it was lovely.Beautiful sausages and hash browns.Eat here its better than spoons I promise you.Nice pub all round, reasonable prices and quite cosy
S. B.
1st visit here great old style pub with bandits and pool tables, the burgers myself and my family had were fantastic, when revisiting Cardiff will definitely go back here.
D. G.
Great fun had here Saturday night with a group of friends, friendly place lovely atmosphere busy but not over crowded staff were welcoming and eager to help met some lovely people here that started of as strangers but are now friends well on fb 😃
g. h.
Another great basset bar with great staff. Gabby the bar person working that day was very helpful and very well mannered
P. B.
Nice pub with a friendly atmosphere, bar staff not very friendly though
S. C.
Located opposite the Principality Stadium and Cardiff Arms Park this is a very busy bar when there are events in the stadia. The bar is decorated with images of Welsh rugby stars and you can even meet the odd legend in the bar. They serve a good range of beers and on Sundays an excellent carvery.
N. L. P.
Incredible sports bar. Pool tables. TVs great beer, awesome prices. If I would have stayed longer I would go often. The chicken wings sauce is the best. Nachos are good too!
L. D.
Love it in here food is fantastic bar staff do an amazing job and even when busy there still always happy and will do anything for u don't get that in many pubs these days
G. R.
Very busy pub with slightly eccentric staff but enjoyable.
B. A.
An 'always busy ' sporty pub in touching distance Cardiff's Principality Stadium, good range of drinks and interesting bar meals
J. M.
A solid pub with a nice and quirky outdoor area, would recommend
M. N.
A definitely local Welsh pub with a great atmosphere. Good beer and a great carvery. 6.99 and I'm bursting. Steak and burgers as well.
3 pool tables if you want.
Perfect place for Sunday roast.
P. M.
Lovely food. Good place to just chill have a few pints and some food. Good friendly staff
M. J.
Very busy Pub but an excellent range of beers and bar meals of quality. Excellent value for money.
J. R.
Busy Cardiff city centre pub
Cheap drinks, great selection of beers, pool tablets and all sports shown.🤔🙄can't go wrong
S. W.
Rough and ready but our kind of pub. I wouldn't say the drinks were cheap, but reasonable. Never eaten there.
E. B.
Great atmosphere, clean and tidy, great banter with the bar staff, well worth popping in for a pint.
K. H.
Great place to visit, very good price on ales, live sports screens throughout venue, clean toilets and outdoor seating area.
D. S.
Clean. Quality of the one real ale on offer was good but has more of a restaurant feel than a pub
M. L.
Never disappointed. The staff are great serving top quality beer at reasonable prices. Tonight we had mixed grill and gammon and it was cooked to perfection. Going back home to Spain on Saturday but we are going again tomorrow and most likely Friday.
P. W.
Great city pub with a good atmosphere. Great prices and a good selection of beers with a good pub grub menu
N. C.
Looks like an old fashioned pub with lots of wood and fabric but deceptively large once inside. Plays sport events in early afternoon but tends to start playing music later on. Music is varied but does have a strong rock/metal focus.
A couple of pool tables are available which get plenty of use.
The crowd is pretty diverse, and depends on the day but a lot of older people mix with younger patrons although the later it gets the fewer old people are present.
It has a good range of drinks and a reasonable menu of your looking for food. Atmosphere is generally friendly and security staff are normally present at busy times.
There's a relatively improvised smoking area outside.
Whenever I'm in Cardiff city centre and need somewhere relaxed to kill a couple of hours this is invariably where I end up.
Jukebox is very good, and it's very friendly to just pop in for a couple on your own which after the last couple of years isn't a given.
I recommended the queen's vaults a few years back and can only recommend even more now.
Rating updated as appropriate 😀
D. J.
Good atmosphere good selection of drinks. Kids allowed outside under supervision
M. B.
One of the last remaining proper pubs in Cardiff. Has three proper sized well maintained pool tables. A few craft beers on draught now, a heavy metal jukebox, and great value pub food. It's a bit rough round the edges, but it just adds character. Top Pub.
M. M.
The prices are okay. The staff was friendly. Only thing I felt they could improve was the cleanliness. The glass I was served beer in didn't look clean and smelled funny. The sanitizer dispenser was also empty. Could be just a day's thing, but yeah that's how it was for me. Cheers!
G. J.
Match day in Cardiff. Jammed with people and staff were friendly and efficient. Had my favourite Felinfoel double dragon.
R. B.
Great pub excellent bar staff very friendly look forward to going back when in Cardiff
J. D.
A proper old boozer, I guess a sports bar as it has pool tables and TV's. We went in there to have carvery meals. They had pretty well run out of the food but Gareth, the manager I believe, gave us a plate of what they for free, and very tasty it was! A nice gesture much appreciated. Cheers also to Rosie the barmaid for giving us information about the area and John, the local for the friendly chat. A cracking visit for us tourists. 👍 Hamish
L. D.
Always enjoy coming in here for a couple of games of pool with the boys whilst enjoying a cold pint. Bar staff are really friendly here, but shame about some of the locals, as you can tell its a local for some early risers/alcoholics lol. On the week day it's a lovely vibe, professionals, students, it has its mix.
A. W.
I've been going to this pub for years. First time I went there, I spoke to rugby great Barry John for two hours. Great guy! Pub has good food and drink, good atmosphere, and good staff and customers, as well as three pool tables and a dartboard. Recommended pub!
G. H.
Lovely pub ' great prices' Very friendly staff and customers '
g. “. l.
Very noisy when sat outside, but really not their fault. Inside seemed OK, but toilets where a bit rank to be honest! Beer was OK (not as good as my local but that's different), all in all, a decent place in the city centre for a pint! 🙂
K. J.
Great atmosphere with pretty good drink prices
K. ,.
OK for quick drink wouldn't spend too much time here but grwat for younger people
g. p.
Nice place an food is lovely there aswel proper pub
Z. B.
Good atmosphere, reasonable prices drinks.
D. T.
Decent Pub to watch the Wales England rugby. Was very busy but bar was fairly quick. Great range of Ales and a good price for a city centre pub.
K. J.
Always been a good pub and also near Central stn
G. M.
Nice place good for a catch up a bit to noisy this time but still good.
T. O.
Very nice place, comfortable specially at cold winter days. A nice stop for enjoy a tasty meal and a good beer, and everythig at a reasonable price.
C. W.
Nice Pub with a great selection of ales. Enjoyed the Fish'n Chips Tuesday Special - excellent!
G. P.
Lovely traditional pub right in the heart of Cardiff. Drinks and food at sensible prices. I had the large Cod and chips (£8.99), which was a good portion and with a small salad. Fish was beautifully cooked and I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the chips were....- looked fresh, not frozen. My one 'down' comment is that the food came with sachets of vinegar/salt/sauces etc.......I think they could use proper condiments!
G. R.
True old fashion pub need one say more
S. A.
Nice pub friendly staff good range of beers and lagers what you would expect from a good pub
K. D.
One of my favourite local pubs. Great juke box. Fab, food at reasonable prices. Big screen for sports fans. Plus pool tables. Great atmosphere.
A. K.
Average food, nice selection of beers, good interior with sports memorabilia, fun crowd
G. T.
Best Pub in the Diff!!
Staff, Juke and Booze ✌
J. G.
What can I say top local pub👌
P. H.
Fab pub in centre of Cardiff. Fun pub good staff and good music.
M. V.
Don't get too many pubs with a local feel in the city centre.
D. L.
Busy city centre pub with some good beers. Lots of entertainment including pool tables jukebox etc.
I had steak and ale pie which was OK considering the cost in the city centre.
D. P.
Reasonably priced for city centre,Carvery roast was delicious, friendly atmosphere and staff, menu looked good & not overly expensive, wished I discovered this place before.
S. W.
Good place. And even managed to chat up.some ladies out of our league. So for me this is rare ai greatly higher my score. After that result this may well be my lucky pub!!!🤔🤔
P. B.
The best pub in cardiff value unbelievable.....
L. B.
Lovely pub, one of my favourites in Cardiff. If you like rock music and a drink with friends, this is the place to go.
A. W.
This is a nice pub. Good beer (selection of ales) and good food. Plenty of deals through the week. Old fashioned feel but that's quite nice. Pool tables and sport on tv, but plenty of tucked away tables if that's not your bag. Good location near city centre and the closest pub to the Arms Park / Principality Stadium.
J. E.
Great place to sit outside opposite the stadium. Really good pub grub much nicer than spoons and cheaper n homemàde
P. H.
Only had the 1 pint, beer good. Busy pub with a reasonable selection of beers. Food appeared popular?
L. B.
Old style pub which I love and absolutely lovely tasty food and good value for money.
k. b.
Good beer great food for price. Locals v.friendly. pool tables. sports t.v.clean and tidy. Will come back.
J. B.
Brilliant pub right next to the Millennium stadium (principality). Good atmosphere on a match day for rugby or football. Will be really busy during the six nations and any wales games so get there early. Good for watching any sports as the have the big screens. Also good place for a game of pool with two table available.
M. S.
had an exemplary visit. my first pub visit since lockdown. the bouncer Daren Sandler was good at following government guidelines. made the pub pl have the busy atmosphere of a country pub in a city.
the bar staff were always able to help and accommodate any questions. the kitchen staff were able bro serve a lovely meal ordered at the bar or the app/website.
would definitely become again.
J. P.
Must be the best pub/restaurant in Cardiff for food & drink, visited 17-19 August this year & trust me you will not be disappointed if you call in. Nice relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff & the '5star' food is on par with your so called Michelin rated places, the steak's & roast chicken were (honestly) mouth watering (no exaggeration) & at a really cheap price compared to other places in Cardiff, well worth a visit.
R. M.
Great place for a quick drink after work, good selection of beers, bit pricey (about a fiver a pint), food is lovely, friendly staff, good few tables outside, cosy inside
R. T.
Lovely pub with a great atmosphere.
J. B.
Good fun for a Stag do visit. Close to the city centre and friendly people here. Cheap shots and decent beers. They show the football/ rugby and a good atmosphere. We were able to get a table for eight with good views of the TV's and very relaxed all round.
J. G.
Cracking pub. Good beer, friendly staff, lovely food and an entertaining atmosphere.
C. O.
Had a meal and some drinks today Have to say the meal we ate was Outstanding!! Really really delicious By far the best we have in Cardiff for a long while
M. C.
Brilliant atmosphere. Great staff, beers, food and pool tables. One of my favourite pubs in Cardiff.
T. M.
Just stopped for bite to eat and drink. Had hunters chicken baguette and pint of chips and was very surprised not the average pub grub it was really good !!! You also get a tidy pint without having to pay over the odds. Good value food and drinks will be coming back to sample a curry next time. Would definitely recommend.
K. M.
Had a couple of pints enjoyed
J. B.
I do like it here. There are 3 pool tables. A small but good selection of ales.
Every time I've been in there they have some good rock music playing.
And their steaks are phenomenal and for great prices.
Knocked a star off because the last time I was there the resident that lived above used the shower and the ceiling was leaking.
Another point, it's not well lit, not a bad thing it's just the style of the pub.
M.
The pub itself is dated, however they do have a decent selection of beers including blue moon. Staff are always friendly. They claim to have a Sunday carvery. Although you get to put nothing on your plate yourself. If your not fussed on trend then this pub is just fine.
K. R.
Lovely staff. Typical pub, only one in Cardiff. Great on rugby days.
M. G.
Νicw pub! Great and cheap beers!
C. F.
Nice, friendly atmosphere. Good selection of both food and drinks. Another massive positive is the jukebox/music player in the middle of the pub and the 3 pool tables. You don’t usually get those 2 features in most pubs (at least the ones in Cardiff anyway).
J. B.
One of the better pubs in town although certain staff members can be unhelpful and rude, one such lady when asked about seating claimed she had enough on her f###ing plate, nice.
K. C.
Pretty good pub. They got pool, sport on the TV and a good variety of tunes on jukebox / sound system and its right next to the Principality Stadium too, so ( like we did) you can have a few pints and a more reasonable rate and then go to see gig at stadium.
D. W.
Lively atmosphere on match day, good price beer, pool tables, sport on the TV's. Perfect
A. P.
Cracking pub, very nice grub and beers, great staff and decor. A proper pub.
A. K.
Old man, his wife and sister in law. Been up in the Highlands, and then the Lake District. Wanted to see as much of Wales as possible in 2 1/2 days. Impossible. Wandered in here by chance. Wall-to-wall football fans. Waitress pushed a bunch of fellas aside, loudly proclaiming “ there’s ladies to be seated!” Cleaned off the table and made sure we could see the projection TV screen. Got our order and brought it to the table within 5 minutes! Man U was playing and the crowd was acting as though they were at the stadium. Singing, provoking each other. It was great! Food was good, beer was cold, the cider for the ladies was too. A bunch of lads insisted on taking selfies with the girls. Absolute riot. THERE IS NO EQUIVALENT IN THE STATES. What would it be like if Cardiff was in the Premiership? What a stunner! The Tourist Office should be alerted. The owner of this establishment knows how to run a place. The staff is to be congratulated.
A. C. G.
Great place, outstanding price-quality balance
C.
Old school boozer in the city centre, pints, pool, big this and some tasty food...tidy !!
D. K.
Aside from the lack of air conditioning, it's a comfortable pub, ample seating and quick table service using a smartphone.
J. X.
The Sunday carvery is the highlight of this place. The food is some of the best I've had for a Sunday Dinner including family's (don't tell them). My one minor note is skip going here on match day. The place goes from family friendly to full to capacity with swearing and violent shouts FAST.
P. W.
Good beers,proper pub.
N. O.
Decent pub, pool tables too idea for a few drinks in town.
I. H.
Nice food & beverages with friendly service at reasonable prices 😁
D. P.
Reasonably priced for city centre,Carvery roast was delicious, friendly atmosphere and staff, menu looked good & not overly expensive, wished I discovered this place before.
J. P.
Must be the best pub/restaurant in Cardiff for food & drink, visited 17-19 August this year & trust me you will not be disappointed if you call in. Nice relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff & the '5star' food is on par with your so called …
j. o.
Very organised and very helpful especially with the rules they had to deal with. Staff and door staff very friendly and umbrellas and gazebos were a godsend with the rain
D. K.
Aside from the lack of air conditioning, it's a comfortable pub, ample seating and quick table service using a smartphone.
m. c.
Lovely pub great staff
M. G.
Absolutely love this pub... Great atmosphere
S. M.
Good prompt service
M. B.
It's a pub. In an almost stereotypical way. Good place to drink with friends, wouldn't go for a quiet pint. Weirdo friendly (good for me and the other goths/metalheads/emos etc) although there's no accounting for the other customers
Y. H.
Popular venue on rugby match days, it is right by the principality stadium. Quite busy on non match days too drawing a mixed crowd of all ages. Good traditional pub-grub with a fairly modest price tag. Has a couple of snooker tables. Would have given 4 stars but this popular watering hole is starting to look a little down on its luck, could do with a bit of a facelift and some new furniture BUT please keep the style.
c. J.
Everything you could possibly want from a pub.
The food is exceptional and at a very reasonable price, if anything they could charge more.
A great selection of beers and wines, and a very spacious seating area to enjoy your meal or watch something on the many TV sets situated around the pub, there are 3 pool tables also that can keep you occupied also a couple quiz and slot machine if those are your thing.
The outside smoking area is also a pleasant area if you are a smoker.
The only complaint would be that the bar staff should be trained to pour a pint of guiness properly... as a poorly poured guiness is a sad affair.
But that doesn't stop me giving the pub 5 stars as a properly poured guiness is hard to find outside of Ireland.
G. C.
The atmosphere and vibe in this place is amazing! So much energy and great ppl. It has the rare feel of a great country pub in the heart of a capital city. Brilliant craft aleas acts great selection of largers. Loads of pool tables and darts board to make this a great place to land after wrk. If that's not your thing then you can grab one of the many tables or leather sofas to just socialise. This would have been a top rating if it wasn't for the waiting times at the small cramped bar area.
G. W.
Brilliant spot for rugby 3 match ‘Super Saturday’... 2-pinters a genius idea to avoid crush at the bar, screens everywhere, and great friendly atmosphere among punters and staff..definitely recommend for atmosphere when Wales are playing across the road... electric!!!!
G. P.
Been going to the Queens every other Saturday for 2 years years now with my dad and our mates, the food is cheap and really nice, they always have the early football game on the TV witch is awesome and the people who work there are friendly. All in all a great little pub in the center of Cardiff. Can't fault it
J.
This Pub deserves 6 stars, the staff and people are friendly and the atmosphere is great! The food is astounding and affordable. This isnt including their sunday carvery which is cheap and delicious! Couldnt recommend this place more ❤
j. o.
Very organised and very helpful especially with the rules they had to deal with. Staff and door staff very friendly and umbrellas and gazebos were a godsend with the rain
T. H.
best place for a pint of real ale. you can catch the sport here too which is a bonus and the barmaids are lovely . really friendly environment
T. R.
As a long term visitor to Thailand I know this is genuinely authentic Thai cuisine. High quality flavours and ingredients. Excellent stuff and highly recommended.
M. Z.
Such an iconic pub to go to in Cardiff. Beers are great and their menu is varied and very reasonably priced. I recommend the tan y ddraig curry!
S.
Polite staff
Reasonably priced
Many tvs for sport and right accross tge road for tge rugby 👍
J. P.
Probably the only proper old rugby pub left in the city that hasn't been turned into a boring clone. Fab, sticky floors, great food, great beer, great atmosphere and smells like beer (like a great pub should) Sunday carvery well worth the money 😊
N. O.
Decent pub, pool tables too idea for a few drinks in town.
E. P.
Drinks are very reasonable, nice staff
C. W. (.
While passing through cardiff city centre my partner and I fancied stopping for a drink but every venue turned us away because my partner was wearing jogging bottoms.
The queens vaults was the ONLY venue we came across that didnt discriminate against us because of clothing.
The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was great. I would definately recommend this pub and will drink here in the future.
A. O.
it's my local. A very good pub to go to. Have different selection of cask ale every week. The gaffer is friendly and his staff are also friendly. Great Rock juke box. Good atmosphere too.
P. E.
Plastic pints but a beer is a excellent and televisions 📺 👌🏼 😀
C. P.
International super Saturday. 16 mins to get served at bar 5 mins to get toilet. Doors left open when -2c outside. Beer increased by a quid. Lucky the fire brigade weren't called. Other than that the staff and atmosphere wonderful.
p. d.
This is a very happy bar plenty of friendly customers
G. G.
Good place to watch sporting events. If thats your sort of thing. It usually busy. Has pool tables. Cheap budget food. But not great vegeterian choices. Has a fare choice od reasonable priced drinks. The decor could seriously do with updating.
T. S.
Beer was great the pubs great. but the Mrs didn't like the rock hard mash with her pie. When asked if it's ok the reply was would you eat this It's rock hard.. o sorry about that. like I've gotta ask. Reply o i tell the chef . No apolige or nothing. Ps pie was fine mash was shocking
B. D.
Fab pub full of local characters x
a. p.
Visited multiple times around the last few months, a great variety of food and drink, very welcoming atmosphere and lovely staff.
R. C.
Went through a bit of a duff patch but now back on form and as lively as the Frank and Shirley days though sadly missing Richie on the door. The pub is run by J W Bassett, like the Pen and Wig in Newport, and they seem to have hit on a winning formula of great beer choice and a reasonably-priced focused menu. We tried the massaman curry and a steak. Both were well cooked, arrived quickly and came with great salad and chips/'arfan'arf. The real ales were well kept, plus there are craft kegs and lagers. Fortunately, Skol and Ansells are off the menu.
J. B.
Had a beer by the window and watched the world go by
A. R.
Watched football here, cheap food but not great quality. Steak was excellent but chips and onion rings very greasy. Bar staff pleasant and good selection of beer.
j.
packed on match days as opposite the stadium itself so 2 mins walk , also close to train/bus station . In the centre ideal for meals and do e.g. Monday club where meal and drink included. Pool tables and machines avalible. Settees for comfort or chairs and table on low and upper section. Friendly people as some regulars enjoy meeting up. Great atomosphere in the night's particularly on thurs/Fri/sataday. If staying in hotel close to 4 big one's. Cardiff castle 5 mins walk and into the city centre for markets , banks , shops . Chippy lane few mins walk. Smoking designated area outside. Food is nice and not hiked on price. Highly recommended.
E. J.
Great atmosphere. Plenty of high quality pool tables and a fancy looking bar. Amazing food too!
d. p.
Had a 16oz steak, would recommend highly, lovely food amazing prices for town.
T. B. O.
Nice place for pool and sports. 3 tables, plenty of screens. Haven't tried any of the food as I don't think they have any vegan options. Main downfall is toilets..
M. L.
Proper old boozer. It's a cardiff classic, keeps the traditional pub feel instead of the modern pop up soulless place so many others in thr city center. That being said, sorting a few new chairs and fixing tables wouldn't hurt!!
k. l.
This is an awesome pub in Cardiff. Brilliant good value for money food. Loads of TVs to watch sporting events and very reasonably priced
g. w.

m. c.
Lovely pub great staff
C. W.
It's OK
M. F.
Great old style pub with good food and a range range of beers. Toilets could do with updating. Great location for access to the Millennium Stadium
T. G.
Quick service in a classic cider pub, has a quiet atmosphere for those who want to drink and talk. Food is dirt cheap and great for the price. Fully recommended.
m. b.
Too many tables for food as far as I'm concerned but I suppose that's inevitable considering the lack of help pubs get from the government. Not bad for watching matches or boxing on BIG screen.
M. G.
Absolutely love this pub... Great atmosphere
G. A. L.
Amazing few drinks enjoyed good company great atmosphere good day
g. b.
One of my favourite pubs in Cardiff. ..great cider on the back shelf well worth seeking out great friendly staff and plenty of ale on tap

I. W.
Service and food very good. Will be going to eat there again soon.
L. B.
3 pool tables, a darts board, food, booze and decent rock music. Easily one of the best pubs in Cardiff
S. P.
This is my favourite pub in Cardiff; great atmosphere, good mix of music with Juke box, pool tables and TV's for sport and great selection of drinks!
G. R.
It's a nice friendly place, good selection of ales & largers & the Sunday lunch is very nice, they also run there normal menu throughout the day at reasonable prices.
J. R.
I went there on a rugby international day it was packed out a bit of a wait to get served but a good pint of Brains and to make it even better Wales beat the Springbok👍
J. M.
It's a lovely pub great staff reasonable prices for the city centre but not one to visit on a match day as it's opposite the stadium then it's rammed, plastic pints etc.
C. S.
Not as good as last time
E. H.
Excellent service even if the place is a little bit worn it is still very cousy. I would have liked even bigger selection of veggies for sidedish, but meat was cooked very well.
D. S.
Not good food. Even worse drink! However the barmaid is absolutely stunning! I think I fell in love and possibly even jizzed a bit
a++++ best bar ever
M. M.
Nice pub. Good atmosphere. Bar staff vet quick. Reasonable price
E. M.
Great pub so popular extremely full on a match day, and a bit scorchio. Great atmosphere though. 😃
T. C.
A really great pub to visit lots of character great choice of beer good food friendly service

Good food, drinks and atmosphere. Can he very loud with football or rugby fans on certain days.
L. T.
Great pub in the middle of town. Loads of choice behind the bar and plenty of comfortable seating and pool tables etc. Good pub to catch sporting events in.
K. L.
One of my favourite pubs in Cardiff city centre. Great atmosphere and good selection of drinks.
C. B.
Proper old school pub. Great for sports. Good beer. Great atmosphere. What else do you need?
L.
Busy old place that sells beer and is good for a catch up with mates. Good service
N. P.
Kinda begrudge a 10p service charge for each round.
G. P.
Been going to the Queens every other Saturday for 2 years years now with my dad and our mates, the food is cheap and really nice, they always have the early football game on the TV witch is awesome and the people who work there are friendly. Great

Sat outside for a pint next to the door.. And was in stitches.. Good social distancing rules etc.. The doorman was hysterical.. Very professional but so funny
M. L.
Proper old boozer. It's a cardiff classic, keeps the traditional pub feel instead of the modern pop up soulless place so many others in thr city center. That being said, sorting a few new chairs and fixing tables wouldn't hurt!!
p. e.
very good and friendly staff, my pal dropped a note by the bar which was returned by a punter. Thank you
J. B.
Lively 'Rugby' pub. Not really my scene but everyone was friendly and the place was not too noisy. Good quality real ale was a plus point!
K. K.
Would be five star if it wasn't for the old men who stare at you while playing pool, other wise the food is great, the beer is great and the music is phenomenal
G. P.
The food and friendly service was lovely and prices very reasonable. Tables are a bit tired and sticky.
C. M.

Some good beer at a reasonable price here but the only problem with the place is they allow e-cigarettes so you're constantly breathing in a big stinking cloud of scummy carcinogenic smoke thats just passed through somebody's filthy probably cancer riddled lungs.
H. W.
An enjoyable meal in lively environment. Only thing that let it down they never wiped the tables when people left, our table was rather sticky until we asked for it wiping.
