B. L.The George has come on in leaps and bounds since under new management. It's clean and modern and the drinks are reasonably priced. A good spot to watch major matches as there are plenty of televisions!
N. H.Classic modern pub, variety of tables booths and outdoor area depending on what you’re looking for. Standard beers/ciders and usually a couple of guest taps, all reasonably priced.
M. D.After a few beers i went home and realised that I have lost my wallet - I could have lost it anywhere between the george pub and home. My first port of call was to ring the george and it was there!!! - fully in tack - all cards and money in place. What an honest bunch of lads they have working behind the bar. Thank you so much - keep up the good work!
W. R.First time experience and it was pleasant. Very professional and welcoming environment with good social distancing measures in place. Not a very big place but has a good number of tables and chairs. Prices are reasonable too.
H. M.A passable pub with typical bland student decor. Quite bad coffee. Usually just nip in for a token glass of something to use the bathroom facilities.

Theres never any loud music playing when passing.

D. J.I have been here once, so this review might not be worth much, but I had a great time and the staff were friendly. I'm hoping to go back here some day, but it seems none of my friends want to move the extra distance. Assuming my time wasn't a one off, I would recommend the Royal George to anyone near the area (or further afield if they can convince their mates.)
