I cannot stress how great this place has become. The food is sensational, the beer is kept well and the new manager and his staff are just brilliant. There's a new dart board (which looks and feels AMAZING to throw on), and recently have added a pool table which seems to attract some great banter amongst the locals. Sky Sports is showing and as a rule if noone has already asked, the landlord is accommodating to show whatever people request. Great drinks deals Monday to Thursday too, brains Barry Island for £2.65 a pint? I'll have five please 🤣

I love this place recently. Pool, Darts, great food, lovely service and always a smile from the staff. Sometimes a little quiet but also can be great fun and busy - especially mfor the Karaoke on a Saturday! Massive kudos for doing a great job with what is a great local pub!

Lovely welcoming landlord. Popped in for pint before Ed Sheeran gig. Made to feel really welcome. Beautiful staircase up to loo aswell.

After giving the Treganna a poor review a couple of weeks ago because of the cleanliness, I decided to revisit to see if things had improved. I'm glad to say it has, and a lot! The whole place looks and feels sparkling clean. I believe in giving truthful reviews, good or bad, otherwise nothing will change. In this case it's changed for the better so credit where it's due. Well done in getting the pub back to one of the best in Canton. I believe the food service is starting again after a long break due to Covid, so hopefully lifting it another notch.

Popped into the tafarn treganna for a few pints after food, such a lovely pub and atmosphere, the owner was extremely friendly and made us feel right at home. We'll definitely be regulars at this lovely place

Fun staff, nice regulars, and a cracking pint! Signage saying Real Ales are coming back and some lovely comfy seats right by a big TV for the football and rugby!

Went with friends for my birthday, service was quick, food was lovely, bar staff was so friendly and helpful, especially Aimee Steele, so pleasant and friendly, had a fab time

Difficult to judge properly given the pandemic and we didn't stay long... but the food was decent enough pub fare and one of the two servers we had was really friendly and professional. It didn't seem like a rough place but again, we were only there from about 4:45 to 5:45pm so might be a different story later.

I like the TT, just under new management, it seems- the new boss came to let us know they were closing so we could have a last beer if we wanted, a nice touch. I hope it goes from strength to strength.

Have been here quite a few times with family and friends... its a nice quiet pub with good food where you can eat and catch up in peace...

The guy who runs it is friendly, there's darts in the back and a TV in the front for sports. The only downside is that it's a little expensive.

Very nice casual pub. Good food and drink and extremely helpful staff. Went with a group of ten with relatively short notice (though we did call ahead) and they had the food ready to go pretty much as we walked through the door.

Lovely relaxing music, pretty chill atmosphere, great food at typical prices and I found the staff helpful and friendly. Great place to have some drub and a cheeky pint and family friendly, reminds me of Weatherspoons, no surprise as it's part of the Brains family of pubs. Not really the kind of place you go out on the lash too or go clubbing at but I haven't done that kind of stuff in years any way.

Judging on a single visit, it's an 'o. k.' place for a pub lunch. No grumbles with the food or the prices, and a fair selection of cask and keg beers. The pub is large and well laid out, with the capability to provide seating and food for large groups, as well as retaining cosy corners for more intimate occasions. Would I go again? Yes!

The staff are always very helpful and friendly with recommendations on drinks and the menu, we visit and eat and drink here roughly fortnightly and the food is always excellent for a pub meal with a great selection of beers, ciders and wines. Entertainment wise theres nice big screens for when theres a major sporting event on, live musicians at other times. Best pub in Canton by far.

First time my husband and I had food in here! For us IT was a pleasure cuz the food had real taste, not oily after fried; not heavy at all even the onion ring have the real onion taste! Definately recommend and gonna come back!! Staffs are nice and helpfule!
