A positively unique experience and a brilliant time every time. Since my last visit a new loyalty initiative has been created - When you are greeted by the landlord and say the phrase "I am the GOAT" you get a free glass of their guest beer! There are not many places left in Cardiff that offer such a personal touch where you can meet many respectable people that like to enjoy themselves. I look forward to my next visit.

First time I came here, I didn’t want to or couldn’t leave as the host was so welcoming and forthcoming with both entertainment and beverages.
Made some friends for life in that place and will be a regular visitor should they loyalty scheme be maintained.
Prices are beyond acceptable and the decor is like no place in the South Wales area. Phenomenal music created a place you feel at home.

After a long awaited visit to The Fainting Goat on the back of some murmurings which have recently flooded the underground of the Cardiff Bay area, I have to say I was impressed. Greeted at the door by a tall, warming ginger fellow I was wisped away down the short corridor where Al or 'Smiggles' poured me a gorgeously chilled Unfiltered Stella Artois. Whilst the host poured my beverage, making friendly chit chat as he did, I admired the homely décor and array of activities within the surprisingly spacious and well kept beer parlour. A few more of my comrades joined us one by one as we assembled and slurped the sweet nectar that the host had kindly poured for each and every one of us. If it wasn't for the beckoning cry of The Mounts kitchen I suspect we would have resided for much longer. This pub welcomes all walks of life and honestly a pillar in the city's public house community.
I will be visiting at my next opportunity and will be sure to bring some cash for the kitty.

The Fainting Goat is an excellent venue for all occasions situated in the heart of the beautiful Cardiff Bay.
The atmosphere in this place is absolutely quality. If you have not attended this bar yet - add it to your bucket list, it’s a hidden gem💎

Well what a wonderful little pub. Offers a great selection of stout, ales and lager on draft. The Fresh scotch eggs and sausage rolls are incredible. Really friendly landlord and a very welcoming atmosphere towards locals and also folks from out of town. Would highly recommend popping your head in the door if in the area.

Modest little venue but the name says it all, this bar really is the GOAT. Never has Harrowby Street had so much class. Wouldn’t attempt to bet on a game of darts unless you’re a seasoned pro as one of the locals, Thomas, will take all your money! Surprisingly late opening hours, just look out for the light outside as a sign the good times are still rolling inside. Highly recommended.

As a beer lover i thought i knew all the best spots in Cardiff, how did i not know about this!? Small and intimate with a facinating range of beers that you just dont see in Cardiff. The hospitality alone is worth the visit. I cant recommend enough and already looking forward to going back!
