A. C.Went here for cocktails after dinner in a nearby restaurant. Place is nicely decorated and inviting, although when inside it can be a bit loud when busy. Large cocktail selection and the cocktails we had were nice albeit a tad on the expensive side... service was a bit on the slow side, but staff seemed friendly enough when we were served.

A. N.Fantastic coffee shop and bar in superb location of Colchester town centre. A real funky and industrial decor which serves top notch food and great tasting coffee with large variety. Staff had a good knowledge for dietary requirements. Good Covid safety guidance on display.
A. A.Chappells is constantly evolving. Last time we went, the bar had got bigger, and they've taken on the premises next door. Next time we go, there's even going to be a basement seating area! They've got a great cocktail menu, and a huge, humongous selection of gins.
For me, Chappels is THE place to go in Colchester!
