Really friendly pub, nice and clean and always a good atmosphere here too!

I arrived here on a weekday afternoon, a little before four, and was surprised to see the place bustling with customers. Inside it looked rather like a village hall and the atmosphere was akin to a social club. A lively group, nearby to us, had selected Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond and were joining in the singing, giving all they were worth. As a real ale drinker, I was completely out of place. For the locals, I could see it was a hit.

Bit of a lads pub. Pretty ordinary inside (bit working men's club) but the staff are lovely and the outside area adds a real festive feeling with an awesome atmosphere. Bit of sport on the tele outside is a bonus

Very nice Pub. Have been their with friends on a number of occasions over the last few years and the Staff are always very friendly and welcoming and I have always found the other customers very friendly and good company too on all the occasions that I have been there.

Went to The Grapes tonight to watch the boxing, bought two pints of lager which were very reasonably priced at £3.50 each, really nice atmosphere, everyone was really high spirited and the staff were amazingly friendly. They do have a beer garden which is great in the summer and it's also family friendly, there were kids there. They have a function hall, which, despite the amount of footfall (it's a very popular pub) is actually very clean and has two wall mounted TV's. Glass rounds were frequent, as was table cleaning. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit! New local!

Visited for a private function so not sure about the rest of the venue. The games room was clean and well kept. The staff moved amongst the guests quietly and with as little disturbance as possible. The word "grapes" spelt out in red tiles amongst the otherwise white tiled floor was a quaint but nice touch.

Walked in to the bar, spoke to the barman Pete, introduced me to the other patrons in the bar a lovely touch. The staff are very nice and helpful. My friend was trated exactly the same on her first visit. Family orientated.now we are regulars.
