Louis was absolutely lovely today. Despite being on his own, his service couldn’t of been more spot on. I came in today for my friends birthday and was greeted with 10/10 service and this continued during our late lunch, despite the stress of a one man band. Louis is an absolute credit to the business and I couldn’t thank him enough for his hospitality. He made our birthday lunch! Thank you Louis for his amazing service. We will definitely be returning!

Pre Dinner drinks in here last night, such a lovely venue. It's really very comfortable in here and has a great friendly atmosphere . Makes such a change from going to a Pub and they do lovely Party Platters.

Stock and Bailey is a super place to eat and drink. The tapas menu has enough on it to keep anyone more than happy and it’s served beautifully. Dominic and Simon are both much more than friendly and they have a real passion for customer service and care. There is nothing they don’t know between them. Whether it’s an exceptional coffee served by the amazing Dominic (the very best coffee connoisseur I have ever had the pleasure to meet and chat with) or a rare and specialist tea, fine wine or the very best champagne - they can make anything on a scale and level that can’t be repeated in Colchester anywhere. Simon builds rapport like no other and they compliment each other very well. The location of S&B is perfect and is in the best position in town to avoid all the riff-raff and loud teenagers out experimenting in town. The food, service, staff and management works together superbly!! I can’t recommend the place any more highly than I already do to anyone and everyone!! Bravo guys!! Amazing work and standards of service that is rarely ever seen

Lovely relaxed setting, I love the combination of natural light from a glass ceiling, mild jazz, indistinct chatter and frothy latte (yes, not only wines there). My new favourite. A great place to escape from half term noises😉
