K. C.After such a long time of not going in here because of how bad the food had become.
I am very pleased to say, this evening I was pleasantly surprised not only by the quality of the food but the way it was also presented.
All of the food we had chosen was hot, tasted great and well worth the money.
Thank you to the staff and whoever the chef was, the service and food was great. Thank you Signal Box.
C. H.Popped in for a quick pint whilst walking along the canal; staff were friendly, drinks were good and reasonably priced. We didn't eat, but saw some of the food being served, it looked good with very large portions. Some areas of the pub are a bit tatty, but overall it was a pleasant place for a quick drink and a chat. We will go back.
S. B.Had a great meal here on Wednesday! Ten of us were in our group many placing separate orders but the chefs Charmaine and Sean really pulled it out the bag, the food was fab and all came out at the right time. Thank you 🙌🏻

A. N.The staff were great but the food was pretty naff. My sizzling Salman was not sizzling. The vegetables and potatoes on the roast dinners were rock hard. The side salad was brown. Shame as I like the place.
G. D.A very nice pub. My son and l sat at our table, looked through the menu, decided to order our food through the app, instead of going to the bar. But there was a bit of a wait. He wasn't happy he couldn't customize his order on the app, so he had to order something else instead. He enjoyed his dish. I really enjoyed mine, very tasty and very filling. The bar forgot about our drinks too, that was also ordered through the app. Overall I enjoyed it
M. P.Coming here after visiting Red Kangaroo, so here with 2 little kids, the service from start to finish was brilliant, our waitress Trina was brilliant nothing was too much effort, thank you so much, will definitely be visiting again when we travel to Coventry!

M. S.We visited this evening for a family birthday celebration. Two staff members (both called Steve) were the only members of staff on shift but you would not be able to tell. They were both genuinely exceptional. They served everything on time, built a great rapport with my family and were always around to answer questions and to check everything was ok. Thanks again, you made our evening.
M. L.Excellent service nice and clean and well worth the money 2 meals for £8.99 and buy one get one free in burgers managed to feed seven of us and drinks for £52 seriously can't complain and the food was really nice
A. O.Popped in for a post Xmas dinner. Good Gluten Free options available. Staff knowledgeable and helpful. Food was yummy and pipping hot. Gluten free half Roast Chicken with jacket potato and dressed salad was very tasty. I ordered Salmon fillet, Sweet Potato fries and Corn on the Cob. Ordered Gluten Free Trifle Sundae and a regular Black Forest cake as well. All the food was delicious. Planning on returning very soon. Staff were friendly and professional.

The kids play area is actually half decent as its fairly new and maintained, the main issue I have is as there are people that smoke, the floor is often littered with butts as there are no ash trays.

P. R.1st visit off a busy main roads ,parking is OK. The building looks fresh and welcoming, inside well laid out lot's of seating/ dining areas , family friendly with childrens play area . Food & drink fair price good portion of food . Go again?. Yes if we are in the area , worth a visit.

L. S.Nice place, food was very nice, staff were friendly and it was a nice family atmosphere. However, unfortunately unable to rate as 5 star due to the VERY long wait for food. Although the football was on, there wasn't actually many people in the place so unsure why it took half an hour for starters. And although we ordered normal food after, it took an additional 40 minutes, for which 2 of the meals were a salad and 1 was a chicken club wrap.
If they improve on the timing, then definitely will be 5 star

V. s.So we have been here before and it has been amazing but the past 2 times we have been here we have had issues with our foods. Over all our starter was amazing and the staff were really friendly.
Me and my partner order stake both well done. Mine came put more medium well but my partners came out extremely pink and bloody , so unfortunately we had to send it back and even though we did that it then still didn't come out well done it was more medium well. We were really upset with how the food was. My partner ended up boxing up the rest to take home. I hope people have a better experience then we did this time round.

S. W.First visit despite living locally, and was not disappointed! Made the mistake of ordering a starter & extra side - the main servings are massive as they are! And these were the normal sides, not the advertised 'big plate' meals! Definitely get bang for your buck. Next time - no starter, no side, maybe no lunch that day! Service was polite & professional, problem with the app initially as our booked reserved table wasn't selectable! But bar staff took order and advised this is just a delay in updating the app after reopening more after lockdown & restrictions etc. Will visit again!

M. C.My sister and I had a meal here on Saturday the 28th May 2021. It was our first time and we had to order the food through the Greene King app whilst we were there. It took us a bit of time to do, our mistakes not theirs and the staff were really helpful. Once we mastered ordering our food came quite quickly. I had a cheeseburger and my sister a fajita burger. The food was hot and really tasty, we really enjoyed everything on our plate and there was plenty of it. A really enjoyable first visit and we would definitely go back again

Need to brush up the knowledge on food allergies, won't be returning as this was reported and still happened when we returned for a second time. The waiting time on food was ridiculous in a quiet restaurant, 40 mins after we received our drinks and heard another customer complain of an half hour wait on pudding after returning it.

P. H.Went the signal box for food and to watch the boxing as advertised, place was really busy the place had a great feel and atmosphere all round. I went the bar two bar staff to woman was in very professional and quick getting through the queue, thought I would be waiting ages but served in 3 mins, they had smiles on their faces and nothing was a problem for them. I had a mixed grill all cooked to perfection and hot. The boxing seemed a good idea place was buzzing and lots of cheering, very happy experience will be back again.

Z. “.It could be more stars but front line service is crap... We went there on Sunday for Birthday meal. This guy behind the counter didn't know what is what and for how much. Girl taking order later on from me (few drinks and ice cream for kids), was miserable and ready to go home. I can't complaint about food- we waited for about 30minutes but it was worth it. It was 5 adults and three kids, and no one complaint about the food. I enjoyed my Double (or Big) Daddy Burger a lot. Like Gordon Ramsey said- if you are waiting for the food, it means that (probably) is cooked fresh from the scratch... Waiter DAVID- great service- thank you!

L.Very busy last night on our visit the food and service was amazing, the two blonde girls were Very efficient and running round like Mad women to ensure the tables were cleared and cleaned and then set again, the families around were happy and having a enjoyable visit. They even had a large table in and nothing was a trouble for them, They ran the restaurant to a very high standard didn’t catch their names but well done 👍🏻 The food was lovely and tasty especially the flipping burgers Bombay badboy is the one to have, my partner had the steak sandwich eyes bigger than his belly but very enjoyable visit. Management well done you have a great team!

S. L.Would be 5 but my mushroom was murdered and my egg was slightly undercooked, cannot fault staff they were lovely happy and helpful. Table staff were also nice. When my daughter asked for bbq sauce, even though the barmaid was doing something she stopped and went and got it for her. Will definitely eat here again as customer service and food were lovely

Also for a family/food-orientated pub an hour wait for some chips, peas and chicken nuggets is pretty poor.

l. g.Dropped in for a quick pint whilst waiting for my car at f1 auto centre next door (avoid that place) anyway the pub was clean and relaxed atmosphere. Reasonable prices and quite a few families there eating. Its a hungry horse pub so I'd expect the usual reasonably priced simple fare.
A. G.Exactly what you expect from a mid range pub chain. Seating is quite comfortable it's got a fairly relaxed atmosphere in the day (not been at night). Food is nice but not to special. Be Ware of the pies when piping hot they can burn the tongue. You can eat outside if it's warm and you like watching the dual carriage way. Parking is quite limited. There is only one way in and out via the dual carriageway.
S. H.Fairly new build pub with good selection of beer, plenty of tables for food, TV screens for watching sports and there is a pool table. Food is decent enough being part of the Hungry Horse chain. Real ale is kept in good condition and bar staff are friendly too. Overall worth a visit.

Mocktails overpriced for what they were. Just looked like a glass of squash sadly.
Prices cheap and you get what you pay for.
Not told upon entering what the kitchen was out of so had to go through while ordering which was a minor inconvenience but nothing too major.
My friends I was with ordered a wrap (out of stock so had a baguette instead), with chips for an extra pound. Chips arrived and there was about 6/7 in the tub, so perhaps better ordering a side of the fries instead of the chunky Chips?
My main meal of bbq chicken was nothing to write home about. The chicken looked like bits of reformed chicken but again, you get what you pay for. Cheap and cheerful.
Puddings nice,again chocolate fudge cake out of stock so had an ice cream instead. The mini pud for 99p is awesome if you just want a little bit of something afterwards.
Staff were friendly at the bar and only a small wait for drinks to be made.
Probably won't be coming back though.

Location wise is kinda unusual place but is a busy venue and fairly spacious inside and does have seating outside as well for when weather is good

Missus' falafel burger was a joke, looked like green cardboard and was just as dry, the bacon burger i went for was pretty good though! Seeems the chefs standards could be slipping....

M. T.A clean chain pub producing big portions and ltd of special offers. Certainly not a real ale pub but good value for money if you want chips with your dinner. No guacamole on my natchos which was rough and alkaline three call ale was off. Other than that it was ok.
J. C.Nice modern pub, plenty of space both inside and out. Kids play area outside, and entertainment for them inside. Food is nowhere near an acceptable standard. Being part of the Hungry Horse chain, the Mount Pleasant in Walsgrave at the other side of Coventry is miles better for food, having the same menu.

P.The food came cold the chicken sizzles weren't sizzling the salad was just lettece leaves and ordered three pudings only 1 showed up , I gave it three because the one pudding we got was delicious and our while tab was refunded and I have also heard good things from most people and it was explained what was wrong (by the manger )

(. i. h. t. s.When we arrived most tables were not ready they obviously had been real busy, so I was apprehensive about ordering, anyways we did I have to say for £20 including starter, 2 mains and drinks you could not fault it if you tried, the steak was great the chicken wings were perfection and it only took 20 mins for the food to come out which I think is a good average.
