L. L.Really good value and tasty food. My treat after shopping to have lunch. The food was really tasty and hot ,one of my bugbears is food not served hot. lots of sauce with Hunters chicken. Service was good & friendly! Well done Chestnut Tree!

M. A.First pub visit after lockdown. They have put more seating out back....wooden cubicles with roof to shelter under...table service...freezing at the moment though....roll on summer temperatures!

W.The beer was good, the cheese and onion roll was huge and the manager put BT on one of the tellys so I could watch Harrogate v Hartlepool despite the fact that everyone else was watching Wolves v Leicester on Sky. It is a really good pub which does real value for money Sunday lunches. My only disappointment was the result of the game. Pools lost.
