S. P.We have been here for family get togethers,and celebrations, also when we can't be bothered to cook, we have always enjoyed our meals, never been disappointed, staff friendly and helpful, would highly recommend eating at the FESTIVAL
D. C.Very pleasant service, and good well kept beer (Doombar). Food is better than most " fast food" pubs. I had vegetable soup, nice and hot & tasty then cottage pie. Enjoyed.

Polite and friendly staff, comfortable interior, the quality of the food is surprisingly good, and there are two rooms, separating out the sportsy drinksy area from the foodsy gatheringy area that allows for two different vibes, depending on whether you want a proper local pub vibe, or a slightly more (but not imposingly) refined atmosphere.

R. B.A fantastic local pub with a great atmosphere. If you want to watch the big game it will always be on the big screens and why not enjoy some very well priced home made food whilst you are at it. If the weather is nice enjoy the garden and the kids can play on the bouncy castle too.

We had a drink and a lite bite, food was nice, I had a ham and tomato batch and I have to say it was loaded with about 4 thick hand carved slices of ham ...wow and some chips. My partner had a fish finger sandwich which he enjoyed....thanks for a pleasant experience.

C.I ordered a pint, all was well until I noticed lipstick on the glass, when I brought this to the bar man's attention (a strange baboon like Rik mayal impersonator) he said "it's not mine, I can rub it off with my ball sack if ya like" then ran off hastily out the door, my curiosity got the better of me so I followed him, once outside he donned a mask and a crude looking Cape and started picking up cigarette nubs off the floor and swallowing them as his work mates chanted "Doug Doug Doug" in a feverish level of excitement,
I overheard one of his colleagues say "I reckon he'll break double figures this time"
I was a mixture of disturbed and impressed, that strange man must of eaten about a dozen of em.

A. S.Fantastic beer garden that is south-facing but sheltered from the sun by a large hedge and a gazebo. Uncovered seating as well for those who want to soak the sun. Everyone enjoyed their food. The staff are just the right level of friendly: kind and easy going without that fake chumminess you sometimes get a places that try to hard. Beer selection is pretty standard for a food-oriented pub, and seemed in good condition.

R. H.Used this place a lot but today was disappointing. Soup with crusty bread turned out to be a packet soup ( I know this as part of the pack was still in the soup) & two slices of white loaf. On top of this it was like a kindergarten in there. Family meals elsewhere in future

J. G.I was in Coventry overnight and wanted a meal. I tried the Festival. Managed to get there despite the sat nav in my car not understanding the road works plaguing the area. Had the Cod and chips. Very good indeed. Decent portion, good quality fish, and excellent batter, that remained crisp, and not greasy, recommended. I didn't try the proper beer because I was in my car. Just a bottle of zero alcohol. Friendly service.

P. G.Lovely community pub. The food is delicious and the beer always well kept! The highlight, though, is the genuinely friendly atmosphere from the staff and other customers. Have visited regularly for the last couple of months and have always felt welcome.
From the outside it looks like a typical suburban pub, but it is actually much better than that. A Large restaurant for families to eat, and a public bar that has a great atmosphere for drinkers and sports fans. Wish we lived a bit closer!
