The ambiance was lovely with cozy chairs and pleasant lighting combined with good music. The food was amazing. I tried the steak and it was cooked precisely how I asked, the chicken burger was very tasty accompanied by fresh sweet potato fries and the pizza was very good.

This was our 2nd visit for Sunday Lunch since the Pub had been refurbished. Unfortunately it wasn't as good as the first time. Service was good but the choice of meats was not so good. Beef or Pork and then the guest roast was Belly Pork. Also the loin of pork was actually chops. Why would you offer 2 different types of Pork? Also roast potatoes were undercooked. Sorry I think the menu needs reviewing as we saw a couple look at the menu and then walk out.

We returned for Sunday Lunch having previously been and was a fantastic meal which was great value in a very busy environment however this time we arrived to a very quiet pub when we asked for the alternative menu rather than the very limited one supplied we were told it’s not available on Sundays ,after ordering beef Sunday dinner no horse radish sauce was available,the quality of the meat was poor and small portions all round,cauliflower cheese as an extra and was unable to cut the cauliflower as seemed to be uncooked not cheap or even reasonable prices very disappointing better can be had elsewhere would I return? maybe if nowhere else was available.overall opinion average to poor sorry guys

New beer garden in the front is a great upgrade makes it so much more enjoyable in good weather to go here. The food was really good as well especially the bruschetta board. The staff were also super helpful and accommodating will certainly be back here.

In the beginning of April we went here for a family dinner. We couldn't book in advance (due to our own indecision) and had to call pretty much close to our dinner time. On the phone we were told that it wasn't a problem. On our arrival we were shown to a large table that was perfect for our party size. The food was absolutely fantastic! Pizza was amazing, highly recommend! We were looked after Alfie, Jamie and Kat brilliantly, the team was very attentive and provided us the best service we could ask for (apologies if the spelling is incorrect)! We were also informed that the pub is adding some more al fresco areas which we cannot wait to check out!

So if you've been here before, then forget what you think you know about this place, after a short closure and a huge refurbishment this is a completely different place. Hot sunny day then enjoy the huge outdoor seating areas, cold winters day then go inside and cosy up on the comfy furniture, somewhere in between then sit out the front and enjoy the patio heaters. Will be looking forward to many visits in the future.

Went here for a drink as our friends live in the area. Pub was very nice and I enjoy a toastie which was very tasty. The deal for the toastie and drink which was £8 was good value too. Not much cider on offer and the one they did have wasn't very nice. That's probably why they were selling them off at morrisons for 99p. Though this establishment was selling them for £5.50 each.

Sunday lunch is always great. Nice large and filling meal. Good quality meat used, decent size yorkshire pudding. Selection of popular drinks on tap. Nice and clean venue. Ample parking. Toilets are in a presentable condition. Chairs and tables are comfortable and sturdy. Floors are clean. Would recommend a sunday lunch here any day of the week.

Just left here. Meal was fabulous as always but service seems to have dropped. Ordered pizza and it clearly says between 1 and 6 Monday to Friday that it is 2 for 1, so ordered a pizza thinking no more about come to pay and told that I had to specifically ask for the second pizza? If a menu tells you something then you should not need to emphasise any thing. If it says coffee do I need to ask where it came from and who ground the beans? 3 staff on, not very busy, yet sadly not very attentive

It's just about to close down for two weeks for refurbishment even though it looked ok... 3 stars doesn't really say much because nearly all the drinks had run out and only a few packets of crisps left. Great fresh food. I had crispy chicken with an Asian salad. The salad was lovely and certainly different. Stadf were helpful. The only problem here was we sat outside and it was wasp heaven. I xould not finish my food due to this which was upsetting. They need wasps traps around as they were none. Shame really

Just met friends for a catch up, was really impressed with the layout, only problem being trying to get bar attention as they requested you not to go to the bar. Feel staff have to be aware of the customer's around them. Other than that fabulous.

Great Sunday roast and friendly staff. I went there for Sunday lunch with my wife and we both had the slow roast pork belly which was amazing. Excellent service by the friendly staff and we were able to take our 2 dogs in as well, which was a bonus. We can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu and specials board.

Fantastic chips, meal for 3. The whole place is lovely. Staff were efficient and made u feel welcome. Decor is lovely. But best bit is the food piping hot and really good. Had squid, mushrooms and the cheese to start they were all lovely. The batter on squid was so thin was delicious and the mayo was zingy. Mains were haddock with cheesy mash looked lovely and my friend said it tasted as good. The other to were the pies my mate had steak I had chicken. OMG they were lovely pastry was crispy on top and a decent filling gravy was def homemade and the chips are really good. Definitely will be back.

I have had the pleasure of dining at the White Horse during the past weekend. On the occasion of a family reunion luncheon and also evening dinner for 2. The Christmas lunch was enjoyed by 27 family members, the festive room was a delight and the food excellent. My thanks to the manager Luke and all his very efficient staff including the chef. ive only been in for drinks but the bar and staff are lovely, everythings a bit pricy but to sit in a light and airy bar, id much rather pay a bit more. Everything clean and sparkling. massive carpark, loads of tables around the bar and a beautiful decked area outside. im sure its only the disabled toilet that needs some work because I'd gone to go the ladies and noticed it had been cleaned before closing so i went to the disabled which doesnt flush. bit awkward
