The food was good. Ordered chicken wings , chicken burger , chicken pizza. The names in the menu card might b different but these were the items .. Staffs were friendly and gave us a good service. The delivery time was also less. Overall it was a nice experience. The second time I visited I had a sub and a mix platter... The mix platter was worth the price and the sub was also huge... Stomach filling and worth for money . Enjoy eating 😋

Great time popping out here with the family for lunch. Sat outside in the sun and ordered the food via the app. No problems with it at all and the service was swift. Food was well presented and tasted really nice. I had the triple chicken combo (can't remember actual name) with Frank's Hot Sauce which was tasty. On a side note my wife had the plant double burger of which she was very pleased with. So much so she wants to go back, so it must've been good. Couldn't really find a fault for anything on my visit and will be returning in the near future

Lovely lunch at the Varsity with friends reasonable inexpensive menu. Pleasant surroundings Christmas beer on tap was tasty. Sadly steak and ale pie was off but the tikka masala was great. Overall an enjoyable visit. Pay £2 to park ask for voucher at the bar to ensure free parking.

I didnt know this place existed at first, but my family and I went here this evening. Varsity has incredible burger combos such as mac and cheese, on a double stack of either beef or chicken, each are served with chips and salad. I cant wait to try more of the menu The staff were very polite and service was extremely fast, food came within 15 minutes of ordering. Environment was very relaxed with light chatter even on a Saturday night. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal as did my family, will 100% be coming back.

We went for lunch on Sunday afternoon. At that time the place was quite not occupied. The ambiance is great. Good place to be with family on a Sunday lunch. We ordered vegetarian food and the food was ok ok not that great. In pasta it was like they had forgotten to add salt. Although their baked items are good. One can try that. Brownie was good.

Just had a glass of lemonade. £2.50 for a glass of lemonade seemed a bit steep to me—owners confirmed it's 14oz, or 70% of a pint, which is around 415ml—but maybe I'm just too tight. It was good lemonade, too. Some places it's a bit flat, but this was sharp and quite lemon-y. Update: Seems I'm too tight, as others I spoke with thought it was a reasonable price! It was good lemonade, too. Upped my rating from 4*s to 5*s as a consequence

Went here for some food with my wife and daughter. We were visiting her at uni. Decided to give this place a go. I did book a table but we were late which was not a problem. The pub has a nice feel. Cosy and warm. Ordered some drinks at the bar and found our table. We ordered the Nacho's for starter. My wife and daughter had the chicken burger and I went for the Lasagne. The Nacho's arrived in about 10 mins. Very tasty. It did look like it had just been slapped in the bowl but like I said was acceptable.. Our mains arrived about 10 mins later. Very impressed for the price. All food was hot and tasty. The lasagne I think was home made. Not frozen which is often the case. Had the Brook pie and the chocolate fudge cake. Again very good. The staff were polite and very helpful. Made for a very nice dinning experience. Will definitely be going again. Thanks guys.

Honestly for prices in Warwick, this is good value. 50 wings for 12.5 pounds and 5 sides for 11.5 pounds. The wings are very value for $$. Served with a sauce of your choice and served to order. Service is fast and food is hot. Will definitely head back if I'm hungry in school! Many other food options there and gets busy during meal times.

Lovely welcoming staff, very tasty breakfast, I had the traditional, my daughter had the breakfast wrap. Very reasonably priced. Nicely decorated, would definitely go again but sadly don't live nearby. Only downside, table slightly sticky - not a fan of sticky tables.

We love going to The Varsity. Great value for money and always good honest food. We went for a quick Sunday lunch and was really pleasantly surprised - lots of tasty veg, huge Yorkshire pudding and lots of meat. Will definitely go back again on a Sunday!!

The landlord runs a very good pub and his staff are very friendly, attentive and helpful . The is food is very suited to the student clientele but is ok for a quick snack.

This is my first time out since pubs and restaurants opened again, and I am so glad I chose Varsity. It is a lovely place to go for some hearty food, a couple of drinks and the service is fantastic. The lady serving us (Georgia) was really friendly and adhered to all of our annoying requests with a smile, even when she had to keep coming out into the cold. Would highly recommend.

Great pub/restaurant. The place looks great, American vibe, the terrasse is also a good spot in summer. The food is basic but done in the good way. Deserts are fantastic. The prices aren't that high. This place is completely worth it, I recommend!

Fantastic place to have good food. The 30 wings was very good and comes in 6 different flavours. There is also a board of 5 that is only £12.99. And the dessert was good and cheap; 2 for the price of 1. The atmosphere is this restaurant was cozy and relaxing. There are also board games available so there is no rush to vacate. Good friendly waitresses.

A very busy Friday lunch time and we were a large group of around 20. They had allowed us to book a table and got all our meals out within about 15 mins. The food was plentiful and not overpriced. A nice pint of Guinness too.

A nice environment and probably still one of the best places to eat out near the university campus. Nevertheless, the food is really not that great, compared to other pubs. The pie is not bad, but the rest of the menu is a bit below average, especially the burgers which are way too dry.

It is doable in a one hour lunch break! Myself and two colleagues managed to finish our meal and most of our drink all within the hour. I had a pie and chips and it was bloody yummy! I have never come across a similar pie ( chicken, bacon and cheese- I think) very filling. Very satisfied customer.

This little pub serves some really great food for not a lot of money. Great for students if you want to have a social and a few drinks and some food. Only 4 stars as there weren’t loads of options if you were vegan or vegetarian. Other than that the service was great and the food was good too!

Decent pub, friendly staff, quick service. Beer ok and plenty of choice of ales. All day breakfast, steak and ale pie and chips, a plank consisting of two scampi and one beer batter mozzarella sticks with two pints, just short of £32. Not keen on the sticks but the rest was fine.

First time here and met up with friends prior to a show at the Arts Centre. I had the beef and ale pie, what the others had a steak and the vegetarian pie. The food was really good, with a nice selection of real ales combined with good service made for an enjoyable visit and I will be back with my wife for a meal.

If you're looking for somewhere just to have a drink or even something to eat then this is the place to go if you are knocking about the University of Warwick. Food is fantastic and coupled with a great selection of beer, wine and spirits makes it better! However it is a little pricey but I definitely feel it makes up for it with the quality of the environment you're in with the quality of food and drinks.

This pub's location is the main thing which makes it sustain its existence. Food is hit and miss (some are good but please do not swap the side with a salad which resembles dry grass) and the service can be "illogical". As the owner asked for explanations to "illogical" I feel the need to elaborate further. We had ordered several plates of chicken wings (which are great afternoon snacks) part way through we ordered more as our party was very big. The waiter who brought the new plates pointed at semi full portions of wings on the table and asked if we are "done with them". Why would we order more if we don't intend to eat these? This repeated through out our stay at least three times and became a subject of joke among us (28 Feb 2018). Another example is when we waited for food and the wrong burger turned up 45min after other orders placed from the same table (24 Feb). This was followed by the arrival of another burger which we didn't order or need. We told the waiter this was not ordered and that we will keep the first one even though it is not what we ordered. Five minutes later the same incorrect order was brought to our table by a different waiter.

The cornerstones of a great British pub are: superb beer, great atmosphere, delicious food and friendly staff. The Varsity has all of these hallmarks and more. Having adopted this pub as a regular visitor, I’ve always had a great experience, the beer is always spot on and the food is hearty and at a great price. The staff are great and so personable and chatty, especially the gaffer, always manages to make even the most gloomy afternoon fun and bright.

A fantastic pub, that manages to cater for the traditionalist pub goers, but also catering for people who want a meal. I've always found the staff warm and helpful, especially the gaffer Shaun. He is always approachable and helpful, with a fantastic array of shirts.

It's been okay in the past. Basic pub grub served at pretty high prices Vs a Wetherspoons, for no greater quality. It is the only option if you want something like it near campus though, as the Dirty Duck isn't quite to the same quality with respect to the overall experience. In the past I've had orders been delivered to me totally wrong, but they have ammended it when pointed out.

Quite expensive, especially considering its by a university full of students wanting medium quality food for less. When I started there in 2011, food was much cheaper. Then it changed ownership and prices soared. Food quality is better now, though you can wait up to an hour for food here and it's not uncommon for the order to be wrong.

Usually at least friendly staff but this time I got a bloke who looked like I was annoying him, and interrupted me halfway through my order confidently saying "yeeeeeap", causing him to get my order wrong (got bbq chicken melt rather than a wrap). My fault as I should have noticed price increase. My food came with curly fries although I didn't upgrade. He then carried out the same dish but with normal chips asking if anyone had ordered, I said "oh that might be mine as I didn't upgrade" and he looks back and says "well you've got curly fries now!" As if I should be thankful. Give me what I ordered damnit! Added a star because they had a box of scrumpy.

A Stonegate pub. A good selection of draught beers, good atmosphere. However, In recent months, the food prices have increased for reduced portion sizes that no longer represent value for money, even compared to other Stonegate pubs serving the same menu. OK for a few drinks, but I go somewhere else for food.

Fairly quiet and you do have to pay for parking which is refundable at the counter it's a decent place to go just the fact it's feels like middle of nowhere Interior is fairly spacious and have interesting art work and an old fashioned type of fire place Portion wise for dessert is a let down for price paid
