We frequent the Brook regularly as its a short walk away, it was nice to see a vibrant atmosphere again as more clients are coming out again, the food is typical pud grub and adequate for the price although the pizzas could do with more topping in my opinion. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The staff were extremely friendly and polite even helped me puck some food as my partner said surprise him, he wasn't disappointed! The restaurant and toilets were clean and well maintained! We normally stick to pubs that we know but as wel took our little one to the play centre down the round we thought why not try it and we're so happy we did, will definitely be going again and recommending to everyone

Friendly staff, food was great at a reasonable price. Only down side which is the same everywhere. We cannot understand how a soft drink for the designated driver costs more than half a pint of cider. Just doesn't make sense.

Separate 'pub grub' vegan menu and lots of vegan options on the main menu. The B12 burger was good, held together nicely and the jackfruit was tasty. The coleslaw was drenched in sweet chilli sauce so could have been better. Only one pale ale option (which was off) is a shame. A decent local pub, ok service, good food options.

Our food sat waiting until we had to ask for it 40 min after ordering. Then half the order wasn't correct when it did arrive. Not great first impressions although friendly waitress. It's pub within walking distance otherwise wouldn't bother again. Beers are good.

Great value different days have meal deals. On Friday had an pizza only 5 pounds. Refillable coke so win win. Its fresh as well they got pizza oven.

Friendly pub, good atmosphere. Two of us had pizza and really enjoyed them. Two had full monty which was very disappointing. The food was only warm and was very greasy and looked like it had been sitting on the plates in the kitchen for some time before being served.

Right been tonight for grill night new menu Although not best we have had.,was brill value for money. Been three times in approx 6 weeks. Had amazing meal experience last couple of times really good value nothing too much trouble. Tonight very busy, couldn't help but notice lots of complaints, annoyingly the people complaining had empty plates. If you have a complaint at least have decency to complain before you have cleared plate. Felt so sorry for staff at wits end as although was not best.. night still amazing value for money. Keep up good work and staff very polite and accommodating.will deffo be going again .

Stopped off a brew during a recent 101mile bike ride. Coffee was nice, pub seemed clean but it share a carpark with unsavoury looking places with some of dodgy looking people about. We had to stay outside with our push bike for fear of them getting nicked.
