The Landlord & Landlady are friendly & keep a excellent pint of Guinness.
I would recommend the place & shall be going again.
C. R. J. D.I haven't been in for a while but heard that new people had taken over. I called in for lunch and was not disappointed - it looks like they've re-established food from scratch. The menu was really good homecooked stuff and it looks like they really know what they need to do here. The beer was good too and I just love the olde world interior. It's a proper pub for proper pub grub and the service is proper too!

New management x5 weeks, I felt was defensive when I was overcharged for children's starters and dessert though ultimately knocked this off the overall price eventually stating he didn't want unhappy customers but it felt like i was somehow in the wrong. Food was good, typical of its chain. Maybe try again but currently the jury is out
