Drink only review. Been here multiples times both in and out and one of my favourite pubs to start a night at in Derby. On a sunny day beer garden is great.

Not very organised when it comes to going into the pub as a total stranger didn't feel staff were very helpful showing where to go for buffet after a funeral or what room we were to be in x ppm were just walking around as dudnt no where to go and where to sit x

Didn't go inside, helpful pleasant staff. On site parking. . Did however get served a spirit glass for a half pint on cider. Very little difference but still a difference. Outside suitable for wheelchair users. Always kind staff.

Mr Grundy's is a very welcoming pub with a very cosy novel interior. The food has greatly improved since my last visit (3+ years ago). There's a decent sized beer garden to the rear and on some days they now have a pizza van. Good pub, friendly staff, fast service and good food.

Here for a family wedding.... Caz looked after the whole party like royalty nothing was too much trouble for her.... The food was plentiful with a good variety of hot and cold food and the beer choice was excellent. I would be very happy to recommend this venue for your party.....

Interesting place to eat and drink with what can only be described as a unique decor. Brilliant place for a drink with some mates but the food wasn't brilliant. A little cold and bland. Slightly displeasing when you enter through the rear entrance looking at the sofas outdoors and could be brought a little more up to date.

Great traditional pub with a wide selection of beers and ciders. The staff provide and welcoming atmosphere and there's often a real fire going over the winter. Food is homely and always good. There's a large beer garden out the back which is lovely to sit out in when it's sunny.

Very eclectic place with plenty of charm character. We had sunday roast and it was lovely. It would of had a 5 star rating if all the food on the menu was available. I may add we arrived late in the afternoon.

A gastro pub that serves a wide selection of beers and ciders. The staff are friendly and chatty. Grundys has an outdoor seating area is really good and perfect in summer. Plenty of seats and tables outside. The food here is decent and relatively inexpensive. A good pub whether you are just drinking or want some food as well.

Nice pub with a great beer garden. However, every time go here the glasses are absolutely filthy. Last time I found 2 tomato seeds stuck on the inside my glass. Was given a fresh glass but that wasn't much better. This has been a problem in the 4 years I have been visiting and countless times there has been lipstick or just general grime around the rim or inside my glass. Really puts me off going there regularly
