Came across this pub whilst out for a walk. Darts board, fruit machines and a good selection of drinks... what more could you want? Worth popping in if you are passing.

Just had roast beef Sunday diner at the new inn was absolutely amazing very full now couldn’t believe how big the plate was for such a good price. Would definitely recommend for your Sunday diner.

1st visit lovely place very clean, staff great very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately the chicken and leak pie with cider a bit disappointing. Pastry was very heavy this spoilt what could have been a tasty pie. I did mention to staff that although a reasonable meal that the pastry could be improved on. So hope that this is taken on board. Hope to visit again but won't be ordering the pie.

Visiting this area for just 1 night and dropped on a Marsdon pub with food. We were given the most friendly welcome followed by great food and quality beverage. The landlord and landlady ':Paul and Andrea plus Amber' were exceptional! We felt so welcomed and enjoyed our visit. Thankyou guys big time:-))

First visit to the pub today and found the staff very friendly. The pub is lovely inside, plenty of room for social distancing, with the tables well spaced out. There is also a new seating area outside, under cover. We had a lovely meal there and would definitely recommend it.

First time visiting and it was alright. The venue was clean, tables aren't too spaced apart but I imagine more so than usual. We did have to repeatedly prompt for cutlery when served meals. Food was good.

Can't fault this place, the drinks are priced lower than other local establishments so that helps! Then the food, absolute bargain!!! Two steaks and a bottle of wine £20 (add £2 for a mixed grill or a ribeye but even then a bargain!). Staff were great, pointed us in the direction of the offer for that night which was great! This place really is a hidden gem :-)

What a lovely clean warm place only bettered by the fantastic couple running it. It has so much history and has reminders and pictures around the walls and with features. The food was great quality and far to much for me and my husband at a very cheap price we ate here two nights in a row the curry as good as any good Indian resturant and the grill night was brilliant. We shall be coming back most definitely. Big thank you to Dean and his wife although busy had time to chat and be proper hosts.

Went expecting this to be standard pub grub but was pleasantly surprised to find quite a varied menu. Unfortunately the menu was changing the following week, so some items were excluded. Thought my cheesecake was a bit small, but perhaps I am greedy. Lol. Variety of beers and ciders, offers most days. Will definitely be going again.

We have just arrived at the THE INN in LONG EATON Fabulous Inn Staff so very very friendly, Living comfortably Inn Excellent , Good offers on Wines & Beers & Ciders our dog Sam is enjoying his beer, we are in our MOTOR HOME fir just one night, we have ordered our Sunday Lunches which the owner has kept some by for us in case we required it. The Main Menu is very good with options & they have a Special Board also, This is a MUST STOP if you are MOTOR HOME OWNERS/CAMPER VANS. if up this way Gain will DEFINITELY stop here. OUR Sunday Lunches are SUPERB. MR & MRS PHILLIPS from KENT. THANK YIU FOR OUR LOVELY STAY.
