Amazing pub Hidden away down a back street but great for the kids and adults to relax whilst the kids tire themselves out. Highly recommended

Visited on spec for a pint of very well kept & poured real ale Friday lunchtime. Friendly & capable bar lady & they sell hen & duck eggs at the bar!
Very large enclosure with happy hens & ducks, fab to watch whilst quaffing.
Spacious beer garden with sunny & shady areas.

Great little pub, nice food, nice selection of ciders, friendly staff and nice garden. Has a nice play area for the sproggles. Nice surroundings too.

Great little pub tucked away behind Cavendish Bridge. Small and cosy interior with local interesting articles on walls etc. Good selection of ales, lagers and ciders. Fabulous large garden and outside seating areas. Oh yes- and chickens, lots of chickens !! Huge poultry enclosure with dozens of chickens (and a few ducks!) to watch going about their business...we loved it !!

Lovely pub in a great location. Really nice home cooked food with a great selection of ales and lagers and other drinks. Really good family garden with trampolines, climbing frame and football goal for the kids

Proper old pub with loads of character.
Excellent food at very reasonable prices.
Huge collection of jugs hanging from the beams. Large garden and playground, and they keep ducks and chickens.

Just had Sunday roast .40min wait .we had booked for 1.30 but still had to wait .I appreciate it's very busy on a Sunday .how ever there was 7 people eating lunch .when it arrived everyone's dinner was stone cold but we ate it as was as by then we were all very hungry .my husbands starter didn't come out at all which was paid for .when I asked about this they said it had come out and we were not offered a refund for his starter. Good play area for children .just dont like cold food and soggy cold Yorkshire pud covered in cold gravy. Shame really if it had been hot it would have been nice
