We visited on a Monday night as part of the government eat out 50% off scheme. The place was chaotic with staff running around all over the place despite there only be roughly six or seven tables seated for food and four front of house staff that we could see. There was a delay ordering as no staff were behind the bar. We saw a few orders come out of the kitchen wrong and be sent back. We saw one table be told what they ordered was unavailable, but people who came in after that point were still allowed to order the item before also being told after the point of order that it was not available, which was avoidable. Lots of running back and forth between the kitchen and apologising by the staff. The food took some time to come out given the low number of covers but our order when it arrived was faultless to be fair and good quality for the half price paid, I think it would have been poor value if we'd paid full price. We paid £24 for two chicken burgers, two starters, a small coke and a beer (the beer was £5.30 and not included in the half price offer). So full price would have been circa £43. The staff were friendly and apologetic, if a little disorganised. There was good social distancing in place.

Firstly I can not fault the food it was beautiful so HUGE compliments to the chef however we visited on a quiet Monday afternoon infact we were along with another couple the only people in there. The manager clearly didn't want to be there he was short rude and totally uninterested, walking away whilst being politely spoken to and after our meal without clearing our table put his coat on and left. We were sitting waiting 30 mins for our bill to arrive after having to ask for it. Soon as it was his time to go home he totally abandoned his customers without handing over to another member of staff. The manager had a perfect opportunity to make our dining experience brilliant as nobody else was in. I will not be returning simply due to the manager's disrespectful behaviour.

First time i have visited this venue since relocating to Derby. It was quite busy but this is expected for a Friday night. Josh who served me and my wife was fantastic, couldn't have asked for a more friendly chap. The food was tasty, the drinks were fairly priced and my wife loved the cocktails. We will definitely be returning.

Visited here on a very sunny Saturday afternoon, the pub was cool inside away from the heat of the day. Good selection of beers and cocktails available and although we didn't eat here the food looked good as well. Got a seat on the roof terrace and enjoyed a couple of pints, we really liked this pub and the staff are very Friendly and helpful, hope to go back soon.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming, clear signage and distancing markers around the pub. We booked a table on the rooftop terrace and ordered drinks via their app. Drinks came quickly.

I went on a Saturday night, and it was basically all fine. I seem to have developed 'old fart' tendencies though and couldn't hear the people I was having dinner with. The DJ got more interesting and inventive towards midnight, which was a pity, but it's a perfectly fine city centre pub, in a pretty good bit of the city centre.

Visited here with my business partner earlier this week. The food was delicious, however slightly slow to come out but it was worth it. The range of cocktails and ales on offer was second to none. The young man behind the bar Josh was fantastic, very knowledgable, professional & friendly. If you're looking for a relaxing , cosy meal with great food and beverages I would highly recommend this venue. We will definitely consider this venue for office functions in the future! See you again soon.

Quite quiet on the Thursday night (20/08), excellent service from a young man with brown hair (didn't get name), had the Cajun chicken burger which was amazing, my guests also were very impressed with the food. Paid full price (instead of on eat out to help out) and not even mad about it, would go again.

Nice bar. Service could have been a bit sharper. It wasn't clear if the upstairs bar was open. There was a singer on but this wasn't advertised outside. Good selection of lagers and craft beer but not real ale. Would recommend. The Xmas food menu looks really nice as well. Keep up the good work!

Really like this place it has a great atmosphere and really good selection of spirits and beers which will keep anyone happy! We come for the gin selection and really enjoy the Edinburgh Gin choices. P&P always gives good and prompt service too even when busy

Absolutely fantastic. Service was professional and efficient, Jordan was very friendly and humourous and couldn't have made the night more enjoyable if he tried. Food tasted delicious & toilets were very clean. Definitely a hidden gem in Derby.

Went there this evening for Sunday dinner with 8 family members. all the meat was beyond tough. Beef was jerkified leather. My Mum complained to a staff member who responded 'Should l get you a steak knife?' Could of gotten her a saw but she still couldn't of eaten it. They ended up bringing some extra meat, looked and tasted like it had been boiled and plopped on a plate.. bleurghh Yorkshire pudding waaaay over cooked, charred, crumbled when you put your fork in to it. Carrots and Parsnips also undercooked, Shocked anyone would have put what they put on a plate... Where's the pride?? Need to get a new chef that takes pride in what they serve. The decor and feel of the place is cool. 3 stars for that.
