N. C.Went to see an old friend sing there this afternoon. It's a really nice pub with a really nice atmosphere.
B. E.I visited today but feel it was only open for a wake. I sat on my own and enjoyed a quiet pint.
I hope that I wasn't out of place.

P. M.Although the pub doesn't look like much from the outside, it packs a big punch inside. Good choice of lagers, although a little bit lacking in real ale choices. Usually have a Dancing duck guest ale. The best thing is the live music gigs on nearly every Friday and Saturday night. More Derby puns should support both live music and local artists. Big up to the Horse and groom

M. T.Our weekly board games group recently started coming here after our previous venue shut down. the (presumed) owner is really friendly, the pub has a lovely atmosphere and have heard so many good things about the weekend shows am considering turning up.
P. A. (. A.Staff are helpful, extremely friendly, and polite. Went when there was a live band playing and it was an excellent evening. Atmosphere was superb, everyone staff and customers were lovely. All ages were in there very pleasant evening.
