D. G.Saw this pub as I drove past and popped in for some food, a nice little pub, tidy and clean, ordered a sub and drink deal. Food came quickly and was hot, a decent size portion for a sandwich offer. Staff were nice and friendly, pub was a bit quiet weekday mid afternoon isn’t a prime time I suppose. All in all I’ll pop back in again next time I’m in the area.

T. A.We went yesterday.
First time at the pub for months so a bit apprehensive but needn't have worried.
You check in at the car park entrance, track and trace, hand sanitise then you're shown to your pre-booked table.
All very well organised and safe.
We had a 4 hour slot booked.
There are brand new tables and benches with umbrellas all across the car park so no on site parking unfortunately.
Drinks and food can be ordered and paid for on the 'My Pub' app or you can order from the staff who serve you at your table.
The original seating area behind the little fence is a 'walk in' area. If there's a free table you can have it without a booking.
Food was served until 5pm only but it all looked and smelt delicious.
There's a one way system to use the toilet....in the front door then down the back steps to come out, then around the building to get back to your seat. Masks have to be worn to go indoors.
I felt perfectly safe as every possible precaution had been taken.
One complaint though was the hand dryer in the ladies loo didn't work but there was plenty of loo roll 😊👍
Well done to all the staff who worked really hard to make sure everything ran like clockwork 👏🏾👏🏻👍🏻👏🏼👏

M.My friend Viv & I had popped in the Windmill for a drink, we first entered the bar, where a customer advised us to go into the lounge as it was more suitable for two ladies, the lounge was lovely & cosy, one drink required a lemon slice, the barman went & cut a fresh lemon & brought it to my friend. We were very impressed with the menu, especially the all day breakfast, which my friend would have loved, but I am a small eater, but sadly, there is no child's breakfast. The staff were very friendly, customers were very welcoming, we will most certainly return.

L. G.Stopped in for dinner for 5. Good selection of pin food and reasonable beer selection. We had the Hunter's Pie, Scampi, Chicken Goujons, Chicken salad and kids fish & chips. All were good and great value for the price. Only staying locally for a few days but would not hesitate to return.

B. N.I have used this place regularly for quite a while now and have always enjoyed the service and food. Sometimes there is a clique that are almost overbearing and can annoy, hence 4 stars. But overall after ignoring them I do enjoy this place. The beers on offer are often changed (proper beers) and it is always a delight in choosing what to go for.
Since retiring from work I have been able to change the times I have been able to visit and have now been able to go slightly earlier and avoid the annoyance.
I called in one lunchtime with my grandchildren and the menu for them was good and we all enjoyed a great meal.
T. P.The service wasn't too bad but the food and drinks took quite a while to be brought to us but overall I enjoyed the food and drinks . The gammon was exceptional and I enjoyed the chips but the fried egg was a bit strange to be honest as it had a bit of a rough surface but once punctured it was back to normal.The desserts were not too bad either enjoyed the chocolate fudge cake and overall it was a good pub/restaurant.But I give it four stars for fact the food and drinks to a while to be brought to us and they also forgot one of the drinks.
