Nice place, i recommend it. Good food: i tried the sweet chili wrap and the coleslaw the wrap came with tasty and not oily fries. People is nice. Sport shown on tv. Comfortable place for a beer (more than one 😀) or a dinner too. I'll be back there!!

Friendly staff and some good drinks on offer but the decor sadly feels very tired and dated now. The pub itself offers a good outdoor space though, great for those early summer evenings, and the food also looked good although we didn't eat

Nice traditional style pub, it just needs one more guest ale pump to get the 5 stars. Don't want to have to default to John Smith's or Guinness just because I'm not a fan of the one guest ale they have on that day.

This is a lovely 'old fashioned' pub. It feels so nice to have a pub that actually looks and feels like a pub. The do some lovely meals and I have always found the staff to be cheerful and friendly. I would recommend this to anyone who, like me, wants a homely and friendly place.

Called ahead to check if dog friendly (yes, in the bar). A table had been set for us in advance. Lovely friendly service. Freshly brewed coffee just for us. Fab meal (beer battered onion rings were particularly good). Spotlessly clean with hand gel stations near the door. Well done Horse & Groom.

This pub is lovely and we went for Sunday lunch with a couple if family members that we haven't seen for ages. I had a broccoli bake which was lovely. They were very busy as time went on but we had a quiet table. The dessert was the only thing that let me and my Mum down as the lemon meringue was missing all lemon. My fave dessert so wasn't too impressed. Everyone else loved all of their food and other desserts. I will be back and I would give 5 stars otherwise

Fantastic little pub! Wasn't expecting a DJ and disco on Christmas Eve but wow, great selection of music which all added to the real family atmosphere! What an amazing way to spend the evening!

We arrived to a rather noisy group already there who were part of a funeral party. Rather loud laughing and talking which impinged on our good time that we were trying to have. It wasn't as if they had to shout over other people there but there you are. Anyway it's not a criticism on the pub but it was just annoying! So regardless, we ordered our food and after a bit of a 'long wait' our meals finally arrived, and they were lovely, we've eaten there before and the standard has always been very good. Only fly in the ointment for me personally was when my dessert arrived (a crunchie ice cream sundae) it didn't arrive in the tall sundae glass that I was expecting and there seemed to be less of it. That was disappointing slightly....but still it was nice! Yes I can highly recommend the food there, the staff were very nice! One of our favourite places to go and eat! 😊

Warm welcome, nice decor. Order taken quickly, but food took awhile to be served. That being said, the food was very good quality and portion size was just right, maybe my steak was a little bit more cooked than I like (more medium-rare than the rare I asked for) but was a good cut of meat. Little bit drafty in the lounge.

Excellent pub food, good sized portions but not too big. Great quality, really good flavours. Perhaps the menu is more limited than some pubs, with few vegetarian options. The pub itself is fine, warm and welcoming on a weekday lunchtime. Not packed but enough customers to feel you are not on your own. The range of cask ale is limited, although decent quality. No craft beer in evidence.

Went out with the family and all 6 of us had a great meal. The staff were polite and helpful and i was impressed. They've upped their game and deserve a good review. Steak pie was delish and the boys enjoyed their steaks all cooked as required.

Lovely friendly pub/restaurant in the heart of busy estate. Not a huge menu which I like but something for everyone. Great choice of beers and spirits, fabulous carvery on Sundays and a family friendly beer garden for those long summer nights. Clean and welcoming

Recommend this place, aye really good. Food was we'll cooked, chili was hot enough so I couldn't feel the inside of my mouth. Loads of socially distancing arrows and screens. Plenty of hand sanitizer around. Definitely be back.

First time here nearly walked out as empty was very early though so decided to stay landlord very welcoming ,we had braised beef and lamb shank ,the food was amazing and enjoyed every bit and prices are well below what you would expect for the quality of food I even left a 5 pound tip lol ,we will be revisiting this place asap by the way it did start to fill up as we left it you like it busy top marks to all keep up the good work
