Seems like a good place, although we wasn't there that long. Not over bust, live band on, missed the first part. Next bans a metal band, sounded good, depends what you like. Recommended for live music, check what's on. Mixed crowd of people, leaning more away from the young ones. Take a look!

Always a good night to be had at Horse & Groom. Great bands on, decent price for a pint and all the staff are really friendly and nice. Not sure if I'm just getting old now but it's my favourite starting point on a weekend.

After going for a meal out we though we would have a few drinks. Whilst walking round trying to find somewhere to drink we heard the live music coming from inside. Needless to say we went in! We were the last ones out!! Fantastic service and the messengers band that were playing that night were absolutely unbelievable can't wait to come back over this will be the first place we go for a drink again

Outstanding place! Great staff, great beer selection too. Very open and friendly atmosphere too and really pleasant, helpful staff also. It has a stage for live bands of which they put on regular Fridays and Saturdays too! There is a beer garden area and rear too.

A great night out, live bands, good choice of beers, some of the beers are made locally. The crowd are fantastic, the atmosphere is alive and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. All in all a top night out in Doncaster.

Top music venue in Doncaster right in the city centre. Great bands every weekend, from hard rockers to pop and soul acts. Sundays are for classic Northern Soul. Always a friendly welcome from the staff

Pretty decent venue with some great cover bands on. Some of the old folks get a bit angry if you happen to stand in way of the stage, as they have sitting there since the dawn of time or are under the age of 45, but otherwise good.
