Unusual small pub that requires ascending stairs to get to it. The staff are friendly and they have a very good range of real ales.

Gem of a pub, upstairs above the Grange courtyard. Good range of beers, well kept. Friendly atmosphere. On a frequent bus route - worth the trip out.

Nice little place to enjoy a craft beer or one of their many gins! It's quiet, subtle and micro! No music, but enjoyed the busy bustle of background conversation whilst we were there. There was a female behind the bar who could have been a little more welcoming, but that is my only complaint, if I had to find one... Nice place to maybe start/end a night out or a nice place to remain if you're all about the reduction of bar noise! We will be going back and making this place part of our Hatfield pub crawl!

This is a lovely micro pub and a great addition to the village. If you are visiting Hatfield and fancy doing a little tour of the pubs make sure this is on your route. It has a lovely range of real ales and sourced gins and tonics...there is a relaxed and friendly atmosphere mainly due to the landlord who is friendly and has a nice approach to customers...it can get full at times but that's the bi product of a nice place...and finally, it takes a special venue for a man to be able to visit the gents and cast his eye over a lovely example of a later 1980's hoover... priceless !!

Great micro pub in Hatfield, good selection of ever changing guest beers and always a good cider. Comfy seating and a small outdoor area for good weather drinking. Please check opening times before travelling.

First time at this great little drinking hole . Good conversation and atmosphere, will be back again, Timmy Taylors Boltmaker in A1 condition + 3 other ale's. Well behaved dogs welcome on a lead. Gin's and things for the girls / Boys who don't drink ale

Jack Hawley at The Grange is a very small bar with a cosy atmosphere. Excellent hand-pulled cask ales are available with a rolling menu. I have given four stars because of the lack of comfortable setting.
