Great atmosphere and people, it would have been 5 stars but there was a mix up with drinks when we ordered, as we ordered from the 2 for 1 menu, 3 drinks, not bothered by the offer, but the waitress didn't question this and becaus eof the 2 for 1 offer we ended up with 6 drinks. Not that we minded but it would have been nice for the staff to remind us off the offer and double check orders. Aside from that lovely visit.

Came in today with my family for my 21st birthday, the girls on shift were absolutely fab! There was 4 girls in total but didn’t catch 2 of their names, the other 2 were Meg and Jamie. All 4 went above and beyond to make sure my day was really special and made sure I had the best time! Never had better service 🤍

we was literally THE ONLY 2 people in there. got in there n no staff to be seen but in all fairness they was cleaning. the ramp up is very steep so if your a wheelchair user you may need someone to help push u in. also there is a step upto the bar so person in wheelchair couldnt get to order. it was the coke wasnt fizzy so had to be replaced, but they did that quickly and apologeticly so couldnt be fairer than that. the food was great would go again. both had steak cooked just how we asked not fatty at all. starters look small but they were ideal amount for us they were actually very filling

I had my hen party there and it was super cool. Firstly because of my great friends who put all the surprise together, secondly because of this place and its staff. Great people, we had a cocktail class as well. I absolutely adore SL from Doncaster and if you want to throw a surprise party or just for a date or going out with your bffs this place is just perfect. By the way, they've got new menu as well! Came here with my wife and son for breakfast on Sunday morning. The service was great from start to finish, high chair for my son was clean which is always a good sign as a lot of places it’s something that gets missed. Coffee was very nice too, but the breakfast was great. Genuinely really impressed. Definitely come here again when in town.

I visited here last night with three friends and was greeted by a very abrupt bouncer (small lady with short dark hair) who told us we needed to wear masks which we already had on and that we had to wear one when we went to the toilet. We went inside all the other members of staff seemed really nice and helpful we had table service which was nice and social distancing was carried out. At the end of the she walked round shouting we needed to be out soon as the bar closed early we were originally told 9:55 but then this changed to 9:50. The hostility she showed not only us but other paying customers was shocking i will not be visiting this venue again. I totally understand everyone has to adhere to new Covid changes but having an attitude like that will put customers off at time when you need us. It’s a shame as the bar is lovely and I’ve visited in many occasions and had some lovely nights!

My first pub in Doncaster, not bad at all, takes a while to get served because of the amount of cocktails being served, but not excessive. Drinks are reasonably priced. Nice decor and wheelchair accessible including a dedicated lift to/from the patio area.

Hellish experience getting served here when everyone wants 241 cocktails. Food medioca, menu was disappointing. Paid a 50 deposit on a table which was in a bad location, near back door. Kept having to tell people it was reserved! I'd expect to be in the restaurant part with a booth or table having paid a deposit. Check where your table is if you're booking. Good atmosphere and music though.

Cocktail menu is extensive but they're all 2 for 1 meaning you have to outlay at least a tenner each time for two drinks when you may only want one!

Ok so the the five stars is for the one member of staff who actually cracked a genuine smile and greeted customers with a professional and courteous attitude, as far as everything else?.....well, the general atmosphere of the place is typical of most chain run pubs, most of the staff looked bored to be honest, it didn't really inspire me to want to make another visit anytime soon, unless they have some staff who can smile without it looking painful to be doing the job they are being paid for, can't comment on the food as I am not a fan of microwave food so unlikely to order anything anyway. If you want typical then that's the place for it, like most establishments now, it's all very generic.

Food was excellent - a nice fairly quiet pub. However the service was rather poor. Despite this, I have dined here recently and the service has improved a lot more. The place is short of staff therefore you may find yourself sitting around waiting to be served. The food came within around 25-30 minutes and the presentation and taste were outstanding. I would dine here again but I do hope that the service improves and they get more staff. Would I recommend it? I would recommend it.
