Nice pub plenty of space Staff friendly clean and tidy. The decor could do with a revampe especially the mens toilets other wise I dully endorse this pub

doormen a bit offkey if u r a new face to them not a very professional first impression from front of house staff but after slightly shaky start bar girls are warm and friendly and clientele are reasonably respectful of the people around them even when very drunk so not best but worth a visit nonetheless

Not so busy, as we went in before 8pm , but have been in before when it is buzzing, people and staff very friendly, music is loud but all part of the enjoyment.

Really welcoming, we had booked a table and as typical girls was late. The manager still made space for us and got us in. She was fabulous all night, the young girl served us all night and was the best table service we received in our time at Doncaster! Never allowed our glasses to get empty. What a fantastic set of staff you have!

Ordered garlic mushrooms for starter it was tasty but not much garlic and more like a soup, the 5 slices of bread were tasty..partner had red onion and goat cheese tart it tasted as if it was put together on order cold onions goat cheese on top but not melted on a plus calamari was very good, mains lamb shank good sea bass great chicken burger went down a treat all in quite a nice meal

A great pub, it's a shame they stopped doing food. The building is beautiful and worth a visit just to enjoy the surroundings. The staff are great. It can get busy at times. If they served food it would be a gold mine, but the present owners are missing an opportunity.

All a bit too much trying to be a traditional pub with naff carpets and wood everywhere. Bit like it use to be 20 odd years ago when it was a meeting point starter pub. Cheap enough but that always attracts the pint and a punch up brigade. Hey ho at least it's still open, unlike many.

Great prices. Upstairs was closed off even though it was packed, that meant there was not enough seats and TV was far too loud couldn't hold a conversation, so only stayed for one drink.
