Every time I go in always busy day or night, although not the cheapest, the pub doesn't sell watered down beer. Added bonus has quite a few TV screens to watch sports a small but adequate dining area. Atmosphere is 100% better than some local pubs.

A really lovely pub,a bit of a wetherspoon copycat but with more of an atmosphere. It's a bit of a tardis you enter a small frontage and wow inside it's enormous. It has a wonderful outside area with easy listening music to put you in the mood. An added bonus is it's cheap for example my lovely pint of John Smith's only £2 20 a pint. There's also an extensive menu but I've never sampled the food but many customers were

First time here and all I can say is one of the best steak and ale pies ever .My mother had chicken pie and she has said the same.great price for good quality home made food.will definitely be venturing back here, and the staff were really welcoming and friendly

Visited doncaster for the day and usually walk past the black bull as I've personally always thought that it doesn't look appealing from the outside. But decided this time to pop in and wow such a large busy and welcoming pub. Infact stayed for hours. Without doubt will always go there in the future. As they say looks can be deceiving.

Nice welcoming pub Wanted to eat a nice meal and watch football.. This place was perfect as they have lots of tvs to watch a number of different sports. The food was really good and tasty. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal and the ice cold Heineken after. Only downside I feel the music was slightly too loud for that style of pub. Which is why I've rated 4 rather than 5. But this place was great. Definitely recommend.

A nice pub to visit with friends. Food is reasonably priced. Can get busy on a Saturday day. Great place to go to watch football and racing as inside there are TV's in each booth and a TV in the outside smoking area. Has booths outside with heat lamps.

Fantastc night on Saturday. The staff were great. The DJ Simon was awsome and the Door staff so polite and helpful. I even met the manager what a star. Going to be my regular Sat night place to be. If you want atmosphere of a genuine British Pub you cannot go far wrong coming here.
