First visit in a long long time and I have to say I really liked it. The outside doesn't do the interior justice, with great decor and a welcoming feel. The usual range of drinks available, while the food menu also looked fantastic, and clearly a lot of thought and planning has gone into making this a destination venue for food, and can't wait to go back and try some. Will definitely visit again in the near future

We went for something to eat on our way to the Yorkshire wildlife park. We had Sunday roast which was very nice I liked it that you could have a small or large one. My granddaughter had the children's menu which she enjoyed. We also had desserts which were delicious. All the staff were very friendly and helpful I would recommend the Harvey arms to anyone who wants good food.

Been for a second visit, two young ladies front of house, bags of energy. Lovely surroundings, just needs a few little touches, great outside area / beer garden for warmer months. Most of all a fantastic main course from the specials board of braised beef, mash and root veg and amazing proper gravy, get that dish on your daily menu, beautiful.

What a lovely Country Pub. Popped in one lunch time for a meal, the staff were lovely and helpful. There was two log burners fired up, which gave the place a cosy feel and helped after coming in our of the cold. I had a 10oz Gammon Steak which was succulent and cooked to perfection, as was the egg, chips and peas. Prices of meals and drinks were very reasonable also. Overall a very welcoming and cosy place to enjoy a drink and a meal.

Went for lunch on the 11/02/22 and will definitely be returning. Our tabled all agreed it was one of the best meals (even with all different dishes) we have had. Everything was cooked beautifully and tasted lovely. Full complements to the chef and the waiting staff were also very attentive

Lovely pub serving a great range of beers. It may not be the cheapest pint, but, the price for the premium IPA was reasonable and you pay for the quality. Thank you, I will 100% return! X

Nice pub, small but good menu, really nice staff and always helpful, card payments accepted and no minimum spend amount. Dog friendly pub so you can bring your dog in. Plenty of seating and sometimes have the log burners on which is rather cool.

Being our local, we know the pub well. We went on a Friday night and it was full with a busy and warm atmosphere which was good to see. On a personal note as a real ale fan, whatever is available is generally very well kept and the Doom Bar was excellent as always. The food options are mainly traditional pub favourites with a good choice of specials. We could not fault our meals for quality, portion size and value for money and the service was very friendly and efficient, even with it being a busy night. Well done to all, a very enjoyable meal out.

1st time we've ever been in the Harvey.. booked a table for 2 for Sunday dinner...I had the 3 meats meal and my wife had the beef meal...have to say the meat wasn't great ..quite grissly which put the wife off straight away giving me her beef ...you got 2 halves of roast potatoes on your plate too which were quite well done..rest of veg was tasty though...enjoyed the ambience of the pub and the staff were friendly but don't think we will be returning anytime soon as the meals were quite expensive for what you got.

We met up here to do the Vulcan Bomber experience. I found my name under the wing and saw this aircraft fly on numerous occasions such a real shame that an aircraft of the "Cold War" and the Falklands war is just left standing in a corner of an airfield. The government should look after aircraft like this icon. I will definitely visit the Vulcan again. I applaud the handful of volunteers who try and keep the Spirit of Britain going from the booking in staff the staff attached to the tables and all the mechanic's who are giving their own time for this aircraft. Very nice meals, would stick to proper pub meals though wifes curry wasn't the best and naan and rice tasted like a meal deal from a supermarket. Parents steak and ale pies were lovely and my mixed grill was great. Very local atmosphere about the place we went on a quiet Monday so nice a friendly everything seems cooked and not reheated so be prepared to wait

Large adjacent car park and pub is close to Doncaster airport so suitable for somewhere to consider if collecting friends and family.

Cold... Could do with being a bit more warm and welcoming. No lights on behind the bar which looks quite dismal. Unless you're sat on top of the very small fire you will feel the cold. On the plus side the steak pie was fabulous, the burger though was done to a frazzle. Had the fish platter which was ok, but seriously when were tempura prawns breaded ?

Staying in the area for one night and needed somewhere to eat. After reading the reviews of all the restaurants in the area. The Harvey Arms caught my eye and seemed to be just what I was looking for. It didn't disappoint! Based in a lovely area. Very clean, cosy and welcoming pub. Great service at the bar and the food was top drawer! Strongly recommend the steak! 😉 Will definitely visit again when I'm the area!

A superb pub with an excellent array of well kept ales (I had Batemans Rosey Nosey). The Sunday dinner was high quality and good value. The gravy was extremely tasty and worth noting. A good selection of children's dishes are available of which my boy had the fish and chips. Great atmosphere and cosy. Staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. I will definitely recommend and I will visit again when in the area.

Lovely village pub.Great decor. Roaring fire which is lit in the colder winter months and the best pies i have ever eaten. Made in their kitchen and not pre brought. Sunday roasts are great too. Good selections of pints if thats your thing and friendly staff..You will need to pre book if you want to go at the weekend but its definately worth it. This place is one of my highlights of going home to visit family.

Dog friendly but not necessarily child friendly. We went with our little girl and found that we were made out to be a hassle. There wasn’t many customers in but a fair few locals. The locals are lovely and very friendly. The bar staff were pleasant. What seemed like the owner wasn’t very welcoming.

Food was ok....expensive for what it is though...nice beer garden if you are happy for dogs to run round unleashed😕.....the last time I went past I noticed they now have beer garden rules..dogs to be kept on a lead,children to be supervised!! Well done..if these rules remain and are upheld🙂
