Called in for a pint with the husband this afternoon and decided to try the cheese burger. The meal costs £6:50. The burger was so juicy and the chips were home made and very tasty. Lovely lunch time meal. Bonus....the staff are lovely too! Well worth a visit

Thanks to Northern Rails continuing incompetence I spend a very pleasant hour in the Leopard. Not been in for a couple of years, but I would hugely recommend this pub. The beer is served well with a good selection of real ales. The pub is clean & serves Toppings Pork pies, so what's not to like. Staff friendly but no hot food available when I called, that was the only drawback.

Great range of beers. Constantly replenished real and craft ales. Staff are friendly and there's the awesome Becky! Great for local gigs. Great start for a night out, or in my case today, great start to a beer festival!! Theres a pool table and jukebox for entertainment, beer garden at the back to chill, they do food with a decent menu of standard pub grub, the fish and chips are brill!

April 2021 post lockdown 3 update It was very busy about 4pm but when I came back about 19:30 it was only half full. There's someone to greet you and make sure you check in with the NHS app. There's also hand sanitiser. You can order online (with a 5% discount) or they will come to your table. There's free wifi. You are meant to wear a mask while moving around or to go to the toilet. There are no heaters outside so you might want to wrap up warm. Price for a pint of craft beer on tap is now about 3.40 Quid Good cask beers. Camra discount

Saturday 23rd April, went to see Missing Andy in the venue upstairs, fantastic, great night, band was amazing, all in all we would definitely return another time when we visit Doncaster again. Staff so friendly.

Quiet Tuesday night pint with a few chums before a Monthly Curry in Donny - This was the chosen pub as there were 3 or 4 Real Ale options tidy bar pleasant Bar staff not many punters but a good pint and some sport on the TV....what's not to like next time in Donny would I call here yep certainly would

First time I've ever been in there, it was late on Saturday evening and I was picking my hubby and son up from the train station when hubby said he fancied a pint. So in there, were 2 bars and although very quiet, was a very nice little pub. Staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. Big tv in there with boxing on. Nice place to wind down after a hectic day. Will go again.

Old school pub where you can actually sit at tables and hear the people you're having a conversation with. Usually three guest beers as well as your regular range of beers and lagers. Camra members discounts apply (on production of your card), staff very friendly and helpful. There's a room upstairs for live bands, but haven't been up there so can't comment.

Fantastic craft drinks with pub favourites too. Excellent for a drink after work and even for a small get together, with pool tables and also table tennis to occupy your drinking time too. Live bands on certain days with an upstairs function room too, make this place a great night or day all year round to enjoy!

A nice and friendly place, however the food could be a bit better. We had : fish and chips - loved the chips, lasagne - way too much white sauce, club Sandwich- nice and loaded. Boys are doing great job, I somehow missed the extra touch those details men very often miss as they not focusing that direction (ie lots of crumbs under table).

One of my favourite pubs and it is a pub serves a large selection and has a good offering of local ales as in they come from Yorkshire. Good honest food plenty at a fair price good staff they have a poker night on Thursdays always sport on the telly and a wide selection of live bands play upstairs. You can play pool in the bar area. It's pretty as it has awlwaysbeen a bar and lounge now can remember it having a "Snug" back in the day but a friendly pub the front is unchanged and is clad in green ceramic tiling from when it was built grimsby ales I think very attractive to my eye and unassuming.

Proper old working mans pub complete with sticky floor, smelly toilets and limited range of beers. ALL THE BETTER FOR IT TOO! This isn't a gastroposhpub with quails eggs and hummus, rather a traditional Yorkshire welcome and a does what it says on the tin attitude. Great for live music and a chat with your mates.

There is always real beer here. Its usually good. There is a games zone here as in dartboards and a pool table. They've got games teams in local leagues. There's an upstairs room for events. Music is a feature here as music is played live.

Drinks are inexpensive but the place is lacking in atmosphere. The best reason to visit this public house would be for the live music. There is a slight problem with this though, the concert room is upstairs and this is a very old building with a steep and narrow staircase. For people with mobility issues this is a major problem. Once upstairs though the room is cosy and perfect for the smaller crowd. With a limit of 150 people I have yet to see the venue filled, although I have always experienced a good atmosphere. Saw Ian mcnabb here a few years back with a crowd of approx. 40 people and yet it was one of the best concerst I have ever attended [out of 100s] due to the size and the fact that acts tend to relax a lot more in these old venues. In conclusion: Not a great bar for drinking but a really good one for live music.

This local pub, hosts regular live bands & is managed in association with cast. However this is still a pub venue were darts are thrown & has 2 pool tables. I have personally seen the Fall, Damned, Slow Readers Club, Mark Morris (Bluetones) Dream City Filmclub etc. I have requested - I was a teenage jesus from Mark & If I die, I die from Michael J. So this pub venue holds lots of personal memoriries slightly blurred by a great selection of craft beers!

Great Pub was there last night 14/4/18 for a 999 gig Mal the doorman was a total sweetheart and even carried up bar stools for myself and another girl who had arthritis. We couldn't have stood for the entire gig but nothing's too musmch trouble for this doorman. Thanks Mal you made our night and defo deserve a MASSIVE pay rise.
