Lovely venue and delicious food. Had starters and then the steak offer with a bottle of wine. Can't complain at that offer at all, will definitely be back. The wait was a bit long, service slow and there was only 3 tables in however waiting staff were very kind and had lovely customer service chat. Hoping will be quicker next time but it definitely hasn't put us off.

Came last night for a meal the place looks amazing but was disappointed with the food had the shredded duck for starter just all salad had salmon for main sauce overpowered the meal and was constantly asked if everything was ok glasses was falling off tables due to spring of floor waitress just thought it funny but did clean it up not good enough

Well impressed with this place. Wasnt what I expected at all, quite blown away actually. Loved the decor very chic. The food was scrumptious, couldn't fault it. Recieved excellent service as well the staff were really happy to help and smiley, got a good vibe from the place. The bar was well stocked. Music created a nice relaxing feel, a really enjoyable evening for the family. We entered a competition too hoping to return as winners for date night. Would definately recommend a visit. Pudding was gorgeous compliments to the chef. :)

Below is what I wrote 4 years ago., today is much better, beautifully decorated, Pleasant environment, beautiful food. Only 1 tiny problem, i had a bone in my chicken burger which prevented me from eating the whole lot. Will be eating there again without a doubt... ... 4 years ago this happened.. had the worse food experience ever. Manor farm at old denaby. We fancied a Sunday roast. We waited around 45 minutes for it to arrive but both me and my partner had to send it back, what looked like days old (re heated) hollow roast potatoes that you couldn't even stab with a fork, dried out veg, which tasted microwaved, chicken that could bounce if you dropped it. ( clearly frozen, definitely not roasted ) and a yorkshire that would put aunt Bessie in her grave. Come on owners.. .this used to be a beautiful place to eat, people used to have to book in advance to get in. Now the car park is almost empty.

I've been once so whilst happy with it, I'm reluctant to give it more than 4 stars at this stage. Great meal and good surroundings. Shame it was so quiet. However we were pleased with the meal and we are going again for our work Christmas meal later this autumn so hopefully that will give you the confidence to try this place out.

This restaurant has been refurbished to a high quality. We had a lovely 3 course meal recently, which was tasty and cooked well. Can recommend both the steak and the tuna and the starters were delicious. Good friendly service and just enough time left in between courses. Would definitely recommend and will be returning.

It's very quiet during these times especially on weekdays, though with the £10 for two main meals, it's definitely a go to place. Decor is very nice, I believe they recently went through a refurbishment. Highly recommended place that's tucked away from the busy roads.

I have visited The Manor twice now once in September 2018 and yesterday. I would highly recommend a visit. Friendly staff /management who will go above and beyond to cater for you. Most recently when we visited there we're 22 of us. We arrived early in order to decorate was shown our table area other than stick things on the walls (which is understandable) we were allowed to do what we liked. We did have to shift a few tables around but that's due to the amount of people we had and personal preference for us. The staff/ management were brilliant and went above and beyond to cater for us, 1 of our guests is a diabetic, we notified them of this upon booking and they made a special pudding for him! We also had 3 guests that has to nip out for an hour between starters and main course. The staff delayed the main courses for these guests and as soon as they arrived back their meal was served. All in all it was an amazing evening, Great food, brilliant staff, clean and nice decor. I would highly recommend The Manor to anyone.

I had mixed feelings about dining here after reading mixed reviews. I can only say that either any issues have now been addressed - or the reviewers had a very different expectation of fine dining. From entering to leaving the customer service was excellent - enough to make us feel welcome and special but not overly fussy. The food was delicious with good portion sizes and beautifully presented. Last but not least the value for money was second to non (we paid just over £60 for two starters and mains - no room for pud! - and drinks which included wine and a cocktail). All in all we had a lovely experience with great food great service and all in beautiful surroundings well done to everyone from front of house to the pot washer you are providing a dining experience that this area sorely needs.

First time I've been here and I have to say both me and my partner really enjoyed the food the only downfall I had if anything was the fish was a little greasy and bland but other then that the rest was on par the service was great and staff lovely too would easily recommend. Came here and had quite and enjoyable meal. The food was good with a good varied menu. It did seem to come out quite slowly which was odd given there were only 2 groups in. The decor is a mixture of classy and trashy, lots of nice high end things light fittings and so on. but interspersed with random pictures on Marilyn Monroe blowing bubble gum?! The staff were great, very attentive without being overbearing. Good sized car park, so good for group visits. All in all a nice place to visit, so long as you are patient with the food coming out.

Drinks quite pricey though small bar area has a cosy feel. Typical average pub grub. The owner did say he was planning to change it over time. Carvery on Sundays. Lovely grounds and views over the hills. Child friendly as off main road and outside play area. I think any pub/ restaurant should be able to offer something to eat after the chef has finished. May I suggest a sandwich or cheese board/ cold platter be available, even after 6pm on Sunday😋🙄

Place looks amazing after it's revamp. Love the decor. I had beef lasagne which was really nice, and about the right price. Husband had the chicken wings which he said were beautiful. Mum had fish and chips.....The fish was huge, hanging over the plate, I kid you not, really good value, mums partner had mushroom strogonoff and to be fair there wasn't much for the price. Sweets were 5.45 each, bit pricy and we didn't have them, only choice of 4 on the menu. Would definitely go back though.

This is my 2nd visit to this place inside a year and I was somewhat disappointed with my return compared to the first. we were a party of 14 and it was booked weeks before and on arrival they said they had no booking. Despite still having that call on my phone records it still was not listed. We did mange to get seated after a bit of humming and arhing and was told we will have a wait for food. The food was spot on as normal so no complaints but I was feeling a bit rough overnight with an upset tummy and that can happen when I eat a heavy meal which was fish and chips. A member of my party was very sick indeed and all the next day and he also had fish and chips. It is possible he just a had a bug which was coincidental. I put it down to co-incidence because the food here is very good but the non booking put me off from returning for a third time.

Me and my partner had lunch/dinner here today and it was a taste sensation! I had the mushroom starter and he had the scollops.... then for mains we had the duck and lamb...absolutely beautiful...we unfortunately couldnt manage a desert but will definately try one next time. Decent prices too :-)

Over Christmas and new year myself and friends dined at the Manor and had great food. .New years eve we let in the new year there which I must say was surprised that they had provided free food which was required after all the dancing to a great DJ . Everyone had a great time . Thank you Kurt and staff forall your hard work and making my new year one to remember .

It was a shame there was only one gentlemen serving as by time the last meals came out the first ones had just about finished. Meals weren't what you call hot. One of the female staff answered back to another member of staff in front of me with an attitude. This is the first time we have eaten here since it as reopened.so a little let down as really used to like eaten here before. Even though these little things happened we still had a lovely evening for my birthday meal..

This is worthy of 5 stars from me, we often forget about The Manor as it’s situated in Old Denaby and not on a main thoroughfare, however, once inside the decor is modern and spotless, the food has always been excellent pub food, it doesn’t pretend to be gastro but the food is excellent. Worth a visit

It's gone a bit upmarket but I do like the decor. Service was friendly and attentive. We were there on Fathers day but managed to get a reservation. The wifi was down. There was a small queue for the carvery but that's fine. The carvery had a choice of beer pork gammon and turkey (you can mix 2). They ask you if you want a Yorkshire pud. The vegetables and gravy you can put on your plate yourself. It was pretty good. parking is free
