A fantastic find!
Log fires, comfortable lounge, nice small bar area, great selection of drink.
Very friendly atmosphere. Couldn’t be more obliging. Very Clean and well run.
A fantastic menus and a separate specials options also.
All our food was cooked to perfection.
Really could not fault it in any way.

J. C.Unfortunately I don't have any pictures but I can assure you, you will not be disappointed at visiting this place.
From the moment you walk in until you leave, you are welcomed and looked after. The food was far more than what you may think because I thought pub food, however the food was deserving of some expensive restaurants I have visited.
We will be back to try the seafood platter we saw someone have....

M. M.We have not been in the White horse restaurant before, but a friend of ours was impressed. We were very impressed indeed. Not only a top quality food, but top quality service as well. We felt treated as individuals rather than a number, and this is very important. Most restaurants treat clients as numbers are not interested in quality or service. We will be back.
J. F.Excellent evening meal for four of us; great personal service from owners, with chef coming out to talk us through menu, check for allergies, offer suggestions. About 20 minutes from Doncaster, 25 from Gainsborough. Great fish menu - we had mussels, monkfish, swordfish, halibut - and shoulder of lamb. Reasonably priced, most mains around £18/£25. One to return to!

R. L.Fabulous pub! We had family reunion and had booked at the Angel Inn to stay (really tastefully decorated rooms) not realising we'd be eating at the White Horse Inn. Easily walkable from the accommodation. Wonderful warm welcome not only from the fire but from the Landlord and all the staff. They all took the time to chat and were brilliant with the dog too! We weren't rushed. Had plenty of time to ponder over a very varied menu. The food was delicious and very well cooked. Definitely worth a visit.
P. A.Came across this pub/restaurant entirely by accident but definately one we'll be visiting regularly from now on! Infact we've already booked back in for the Chinese new year banquet lol very friendly owners and staff, very reasonably priced food that is absolutely delicious and a good range of beers and ales. Highly recommend a visit and be sure to try the scallops with black pudding it was amazing.

R. H.Wonderful village pub but with great wholesome food. If you want chicken nuggets and chips or pizza this isn't the place. But if you're wanting a good roast beef then get booking! It's even great for a cheeky pint or two. Definitely recommend.

M. T.This is the country pub to visit for your fine dining and Sunday roast dinner, the food is excellent and of a high standard. The staff are great and chef is fantastic, they all have time to chat to you and will explain any part of the menu. The dining area is nicely lay out. Has a lovely beer garden for the summer and winter months. The bar and lounge are very cosy with log fire going I didn’t want to go home.

G. C.This is a small pub with a restaurant in the village of Misson. It's old with many original features. The bar area is small but very well stocked for it's size. Comfortable seating. However, down a short corridor is a small but excellent restaurant adjacent to a small courtyard with comfortable outdoor seating. The menu is surprisingly upmarket. The chef and proprietor, clearly loves both the beautiful food he produces, and those who come to eat. He took our order personally and was pleased to discuss the dishes, which we served hot & beautifully presented in the small restaurant which had immaculately starched table linen. The wine list is small, competitively priced & adequate. Highly recommended for dining on lovingly prepared food.

S.Went here yesterday they opened up early just to get us in now you cant get first time there and will not be the last what a gem this place is all the staff are fantastic... and the food was out of this world king prawns the size of golf balls if not bigger the stake was done to perfection I couldn't complain about anything thank you for squeezing us in

OMG the king prawns for starter! No words can describe how fresh, beautifully cooked and seasoned they were. Beef wellington 😍😍. Its safe to say this visit certainly won’t be the last.
J. O.Ok this is a difficult review to do because I have very very mixed feelings about the place. First the ambiance is lovely, very old country pub , open fire low ceilings. The staff are very nice and the restaurant is very nice with crisp white tablecloths etc. We first visited on recommendation of my parents who had some excellent meals. I recall we had an unusual starter of kidneys in a cream sauce which was quite delicious. My dad had recommended the steaks so we had fillet medallions in a sauce. The sauce was delicious but I found the steak very chewy. Our second visit 8 of us went ,, my husband decided to try a whopping t bone steak , as soon as it came to the table it looked wrong and smellled really bad, it was off.. my steak also smelt weird and I didn't eat it. I guess that the odd chewy steak can be forgiven but that meat smelled so bad kitchen must have noticed. They did give us a bottle of wine and apologised
