J. V. O.I have not visited The White Swan yet, but give you 5 stars on the strength of other reviews, a wonderful history; and that you are still independently owned! My interest in your pub is that it was owned in the 1700s-early 1800s by my family, great, great, great, great grandfather and his son, both called Richard Venables - what an amazing Ancestry find! I hope to visit soon and all the very best with the re-opening - good luck to you.
M. b.Friendly atmosphere and great live music on the first Saturday of every month. Great value home made food, but only one person serving. Also both ladies and gents toilets need total refurbishment.
P. K.One of the few traditional pubs left in Doncaster, independently owned and run. Provides a range of real ales and cask beers and sensibly priced good pub food at lunch times. The White Swan also supports live music with 2 open mic sessions per month, 1 acoustic night and a jazz lunchtime performance on the first Saturday of the month.
