A very quaint old pub with such a relaxed atmosphere. Everyone I saw were friendly and the bar staff lovely. Prices very good too. So if you want to have a relaxed drink in the City of Dunfermline go there. King Charles was jst along the road when he visited Dunfermline on Saturday.

We were in Dunfermline for a day and had a wee trip round several pubs. This was a good wee local, needing updated under today's standards but I wouldn't touch it. Leave it as it is and keep the authentic old fashioned pub. As for the prices of the drinks, I had a chuckle, I'm living in Aberdeenshire, I could get at least 2 drinks here for what I'd pay at home. MAGIC!!!!!!!!

Brilliant pub. Great atmosphere. Friendly and welcoming staff. Drinks get poured in the correct glass, which is a rarity in Dunfermline.

It's OK. I'm an auld man so it suited me. No exactly trendy. I was a tad worried about the plastic covering on the bar when I went in (CSI Dunfermline). However apparently the bar is about to be recovered. No blood spatter then?? Booorrrriinng.

From Edinburgh went to Dunfermline for boys day out yesterday Wednesday this pub the Bruce tavern the best we went to out o seven pubs the manageress very polite made us most welcome her name ws Lisa very nice woman good music from 50s to seventies we be going back there lovely wee pub regulars very friendly ten out o ten would say anyone who goes to Dunfermline visit the Bruce tavern Bruce street you be given good time jocks from Edinburgh

This is a no frills pub but has a very charming appeal. Popped in here for a snifter before going on to a restaurant for a meal with work colleagues. The Guinness was really nice and the staff were very friendly. It's definitely a locals pub but that said we didn't feel that we were unwelcome in there.

The Bruce Tavern is one of the oldest pubs in Dunfermline.It has managed to keep a lot of its character while being updated decor wise.It has a beautiful original gantry with painted glass.Worth a visit to see that.Friendly staff complete this wee gem of a pub.Unfortunately they dont serve food.
