Really nice place, LOVED the cocktails (especially the blue eye special). 2 for 1 deals on roughly 40% of the cocktails plus more deals. Only complaint is that the music was far too loud, but the bartender was happy to turn it down when I asked.

Absolutely LOVE this place. Staff are amazing. So happy, polite, helpful and want their customers to have a good night! The music is great as are the clientele. I would really recommend this bar to anyone. It’s not your normal bar/pub but that’s what is so great about the place. So glad I stumbled upon this fab little place. Five stars :)

Great few hours! Fab music and staff... really great... husband left phone in there though and was turned off within ten mins! Gone can't find it.. clearly was left in there and turned off... that isn't good... but shall be back to reclaim as its still at the pub according g to my tracker! ? Much love . See you a soon 💙

Nice little cocktail bar, with friendly staff and friendly owner. Very reasonable drink prices - they also had mulled wine during the season for it, and was the best I have tried at all pubs/bars in town. I would definitely recommend.

Whenever I am in Durham I make it a must to visit this venue. Great atmosphere and staff not only the bar staff but the gentlemen on the door also. First class service and music. Having read some of the other poor reviews which seem to stem from the fact the owner is Turkish why is this an issue? And been cash only venue saves small businesses getting charges from the banks for each transaction which in turn keep costs down to the paying customers.

I celebrated my birthday there with family, I found the staff very friendly with great service. It's a lovely quaint pub with amazing cocktails and gins. Definitely go back. If you ever in Durham it's a must to go. 😀👍.

Drinks are great! A good selection of cocktails and the music is good, staff are friendly but the venue itself just doesn't feel finished. There is a broken window upstairs, seats are uncomfortable & the toilet door doesn't lock.
