C. H.Brilliant service, brilliant food and drinks. Fancied a Mr Porky burger but asked to pay the extra and have an additional burger! 2 for £10 on the cocktails at the time too so 2 with food but the real star of the show was the hazelnut espresso martini, cracking after dinner drink and staff more than happy to do stuff that isn't on the menu!

C. C.Just Wow! We're at here in CoHo for afternoon tea and a cocktail. The staff are so friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble.

L. A.Been here twice now for lunch/cocktails and have enjoyed both times. The 2-4-1 cocktails were delicious and brilliant value for money, and the food I had was really tasty. The riverside location is really nice to escape the hustle bustle of town and provides a calm atmosphere to catch up with friends. Would recommend!
A. -. R. M. S.It's a nice cafe in the mornings but it gets roudy from dinnertime onwards. The hot drink and breakfast roll for £4 is great value and the bacon was really nice and the staff were polite. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It's situated opposite the passport office which is what brought me into the establishment. My reason for the 3 stars and not higher was that the toilets didn't look like they'd be cleaned in a while. There was 2 empty toilet rolls tubes and no actual toilet roll and it's embarrassing to have to ask for toilet roll in places and also the soap dispenser didn't have soap in it and probably hadn't had any for a while as there was a replacement bottle of soap on the side of the sink that barely had enough soap in the bottom of the bottle to wash my hands with. It didn't look like it had been checked or cleaned from the previous night as this was at around 10:30am that I was there.
R. A.I haven’t been in so this isn’t a negative or positive review but it’s not a café. It’s clearly a bar and right outside HM Passport Office it’s a shame they aren’t open for coffee. Looks pretty from the outside and a lovely location.

S. L.We stumbled upon on this place as part of a stag doo and what a place it was. We were quite a large group but we were welcomed by the manager and given an outside seating area together (all socially distanced of course). The staff were amazing so friendly and always on call to take another drinks order and up for a laugh. The manager on duty that day was amazing so friendly and good banter with all the lads but still managed to keep all us in check. The female waitress was also amazing we all had a good bants with her and she was super friendly even when we were getting a bit rowdy 🤣 This place was only meant to be a stop off but we ended up staying for hours and all had a great day. Best Mojito I have ever had in UK. I will definitely be visiting again maybe next time just a coffee though as I'm never drinking again 😉

S. H.Visited on 22nd Aug for lunch and a drink. Food was delicious, i had eggs benedict and my husband had pancakes, syrup and bacon.
Service was speedy and with a smile, what's not to like. So much so, we popped back the next day, ordered our drinks and sat outside chillaxing.
We will visit again on our next stay in Durham.

Service was good and food served fairly quickly and was fine. Just toastees and coffee but enjoyable. Good feel to the place with decent position by the river which will improve when all building works finished along riverside. Prices reasonable.
K. J.Always kind of quiet whenever I've been but a great place to find a space when Durham centre is packed tight. Great views of the river and a wide selection of gins, with a varied cocktail menu and extended happy hour offers.
B. B.We were early in returning to the coach pickup point after a day of sightseeing in the city, CoHo is right next to the pickup point, and whilst I thought it was a Bar, it also a cafe during the day.
Good welcome, we ordered coffee, and a strawberry slice, both were reasonably good, and it allowed us to have a quiet break before catching the coach back to. Our hotel after a long day on foot in the town
C. M.Pleasant enough. Staff helpful friendly and service was great lovely location by river. Couldn't fault it. Food smelled and looked inviting as it passed us. Burgers looked tasty.

I was treat as if I was spending lots of money even though it was only 3 hot drinks and they even came over with some free ice cream for my grandson.
I have not seen this level of service and friendly atmosphere in a long time.

J. S.We have visited CoHo a couple of times now since it opened a couple of months ago. The bar is very clean and fresh (as you would expect from a brand new bar). There are plenty of drinks to choose, from spirits, draft beers, to champagne and cocktails.
The views out of the window overlooking the river will be stunning in the summer (and once the building work across the river has been completed to the new shopping centre they are building).
Staff are extremely friendly (we visited on xmas eve, and the staff certainly had the fun Christmas spirit).
I'm pretty sure I'll be visiting again sometime soon!
