Booked with 2 friends for bottomless brunch on a Sunday lunch time. £25 for 1 hour 30mins. Was a gorgeous sunny day so sat outside. Great atmosphere, tasty food and great service. If you got prosecco it was extremely quick but if you ordered cocktails you waited a little longer for a drink which is to be expected. We decided to stick with the prosecco so we got more for our money.

Service was quick and but let down because of asking for sweetener for my coffee. Food was good mostly apart from their coleslaw however I munched my way through the corn 🌽 on the cob that was 5* If you don't like a very noisy environment, this ain't the venue for you. Didn't buy cocktails this time but saw some, they looked very appetising. Would I go back? Yes

Unfortunately last night one of the bouncers in this pub seemed to think it was a joke To ask my partner if she was disabled while she stood waiting for the disabled toilet when she replied yes he said and I quote “you don’t look disabled “ . My partner had to explain to this bouncer that not all disabilities can be seen , surely in this day and age of inclusion no one should have to go through this . Two young girls came out of the disabled toilet while she was stood and he hadn’t asked them if they were disabled . Totally unacceptable and certainly will not be returning here if that is the way staff treat the public . Maybe some extra training for the Asian bouncer who thought it was all a joke might be needed . UPDATE::: Since this incident the management have contacted my partner and expressed their concern with the matter . The person involved had quite alot of previous incidents and hence does not work for the company anymore . Thankyou revolution Durham for taking the time to contact my partner and to make sure this wouldn’t happen again ..

What a location! What a food! We have stopped in Durham just for few of hours but had enough time to have a lunch at Revolution and we didnt regret. Staff very kind and welcoming. Food yummy and well presented and also cocktails wow! Thank you

Really nice chilled atmosphere during the week. Ordered food and drinks around Christmas time, service was great. One staff member was extremely helpful, especially with the deals on the app, really appreciated it. Will be returning :)

We booked a table for 10 for a stag do on 28th August. Staff were great service was spot on and drinks where more than enjoyable in a cracking location. If you wanna good night id highley recommend here as a stop or even a full night 👍 thanks to all the staff from all of the lads 😁

We came here for a mates birthday and certainly were not disappointed . Finger foods were absolutely gorgeous . Cocktails to die for . Shots galore , then moved downstairs to find a table to dance the night away . Staff were friendly and helpful the atmosphere was electric one of the best nights I've ever had in such a beautiful city . Highly recommended

The 14 year old barman didn't know what a lager top was so he asked if it was a shandy. I said no and explained what it was and still ended up with a shandy. Later a woman fell down and smashed her head on the floor and eventually a very drunk young woman of about 13 years of age got so wasted she puked on the table at 10:13 pm. Signing up for the app was disastrous so ended up going to the bar anyway. Nice view of the river.

Popped in for lunch with my wife today. Love the venue, warm and comfortable on a very cold day. Great view over the river from the booth seating next to the window. Staff are smashing but as others have mentioned feel a little inexperienced but that's not surprising given that the place hasn't been open long. One down side to the location that may affect some people are the steps that need to be negotiated to access it. Steps down to the loos too so if you've had a few take care. There is a disabled toilet in the restaurant area for which you'll need a Radar key but I'm sure staff would open it of you didn't have one but need it. As others have mentioned service is a problem, not from front of house staff but the kitchen. The food took far longer to come than it should have. However the staff listened and accepted our concern when we let them know about the problem, making amends which encourage us to come again. Food was great though, rarely had such a great salad :) One star lost because of the service issue, however will be back.

The Bottomless brunch isn't great value if you don't drink. The only cocktail available is a virgin Mary & if you don't like tomato juice you are on the soft drinks. I'm not saying have every variety going but 1? Not good. Thankfully I was with great company.

A good place for young adults on a night out, banging tunes, cool decor with some funky lights, terrace upstairs is decent. Theres a little photo area on the way into the upstairs terrace for all the basics wanting their next instagram post. Can grab a half decent cocktail nowt too special. Overall its a decent place to have a few on a night out round durham.
