Ľ. K.This pub is a little gem in Edinburgh. They offer a wide range of whisky and gin for very reasonable prices. The customer service is very nice and the place is also dog friendly. They also offer some good deals such as whiskey or gin of the month. The overall atmosphere is great, I highly recommend visiting this place if you want to taste some of the Scottish whisky or gin and you fancy some authentic pub experience at the same time.
P. M.Great pub...has held onto its character over the years. More beers on offer these days, but still serves the classic 80/-. One of Edinburgh's classic bars.
P. B.One of the few ‘proper’ old style pubs left in Edinburgh. Good selection of beers on tap and reasonably priced. Fantastic selection of whisky to choose from, must be one of the best in town. Children are permitted in the back snug area. Lots of character, make sure to visit.
T. G.They have an amazing selection of ales, lagers, spirits, cocktails, food and least I forget the whisky selection is out of this world. Friendly and attentive staff within a lovely setting, I hight recommend, get down to the Athletic Arms aka Diggers for a fantastic pub experience, you will definitely revisit!! Even if you live in London you will make this pub your local.

J. C.This is a proper pub- an Edinburgh institution-aka The Diggers. It’s got the widest range of Whisky you coul possibly imagine. Totally authentic, nice atmosphere and not overpriced.

A. H.Beautiful pub fantastically run. Went before a hearts match to watch man city v man united. Great friendly atmosphere. Loads of TVs so a good view of the football from everywhwre. Despite being very busy fantastic bar staff meant never waited more than a couple of minutes to be served
