Reviews of Fiddler's Arms

Amazing food and service all around!! My brother asked for 3 different whiskeys neat, the guy who helped us was beyond helpful and brought 3 different whiskeys from 3 different regions of Scotland. Which to his taste were phenomenal! For me who can't stand the smell or taste have to say they were Amazing! As for food! We all loved the food we chose. Haggis and tatties, bangers and mash, and salmon and mash definitely a place to check out!

A traditional well decorated pub.
Felt a bit weird as the server hardly gave me the time of day.
They seem to only want diners and ask everyone as they walk in, if they want food.
The head on the beer was huge. We had a beer/cider and left.

Nice bar in Grassmarket area. Varied scotch selection and sausages were tasty. Nachos were basic but hit the spot.

Friendly staff but the traditional haggis, whisky sauce and Scottish beef burger is outstanding and very high quality - the Scottish beef burger is crispy especially.
Very delighted with the service. Many thanks to the staff.

Good food and great service, very clean and taking the effort to abide by health protocols. Tables were wiped down between customers. Solid food, might feel a little "touristy" but it doesn't feel cheap. The soup, sausages, and vegetarian option of the day change regularly. Nice place to grab a pint and a good bite while you're walking around Edinburgh.

Wow! First time in Edinburgh.. looking around and came across this place and I was very surprised such a nice vibe, really good food and great service. The manager Alan was so helpful + friendly!
Will definitely be going back again!

First pub we found walking into Grassmarket. No cask ale ok Guinness for me, glass of Merlot for the Mrs. Guinness was very nice. Merlot was nice once it breathed a bit. Both had pie of the day. Venison. Meat was very tender and the gravy was to die for. Strange shape skin on chips good for scooping up gravy. Nice selection of veg, courgette, swede, carrots and leeks, not over cooked. Will definitley go back again.

Really great staff with lots of recommendations. Felt like my home whisky bar with the atmosphere and conversations. Nick gave great knowledge for the drinks based on what we enjoy and then gave us other whisky bars to try around the city. Such a fun place!

Nice Beers and probably the best looking deep fried Mars bar in the land, very tasty!

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Alan took the time to explain everything we asked as me and my family were new to the area. Next time I'm back in Edinburgh I will visit this pub again. I do recommend this pub, the food is nice too.
