Reviews of The Register Club

10/10 service from the gents running the club. Friendly and very professional. In keeping with the club/gentleman's club ambience, but also 2022 vibes.
We had some lovely cocktails. Very well made and presented. Not the usual cocktails and worth the little bit extra cost imho.
The venue is great, not just the old boardroom itself, but the optical illusion floors as you go up in the lift.
It was strangely quiet when we went on a Sunday. I think we over-estimated Scotland's desire for alcohol. Although tbf we weren't working on a Monday so had an extra night to cut loose. Would be nice to visit again with a few more people there.
One or two reviewers mentioned not liking the music. Maybe they've changed it a bit. It was a mixed bag when we there with Tom Odell, Sting, Ayo, Jawsh 685, Polo & Pan, Shouse. I thought it was a good selection personally and fitted the venue.

Visited with my mum for a special day out. Genuinely some of the best cocktails I've had in Edinburgh- exciting flavours and well thought out. The service is great, the location is perfect and the surroundings are really lovely!

What can I say, such a great spot for a relaxing drink after a dinner our or as a special spot for a cocktail or two. Very welcoming and attentive staff. Would reccomend some of their original whisky cocktails for sure!

Absolutely wonderful experience with a private meal cooked by the head chef from The Register Club in St Andrew's Square, gorgeous steak cooked to perfection! Also with amazing views from the penthouse in the Edinburgh Grand.

Sophisticated classical building previously Royal bank of Scotland board rooms think old gentleman's club wood panelling. Nice quiet break from hustle & bustle well worth a visit

We visited The Register Club for a birthday lunch with family as I have been for a cocktail here before and the experience was just lovely! We sat in the main lounge room which has a lovely ambience with intimate, dim lighting (which I love), cosy sofas and armchairs as well as leather upholstered booths. The rooms on the top floor are huge and spacious and classically decorated with traditional period features, so are stunning. I had two cocktails which were absolutely top notch. I love that the cocktail list differs from your bog standard cocktail offering of cosmos and french martinis, and instead provides a list of elegantly named drinks with exotic ingredients. The glasses they come in too are just so cute and classy!
Service was attentive and professional, although it did appear that there was a lack of staffing as the girls serving us did seem quite flustered and over worked, although remained extremely professional and polite despite this!
We ordered sharing platters of the hot mini bites (we selected six between two people) and they were beautifully presented and delicious and very reasonably priced at £20 for 6 items. We ordered dessert in the 'pineapple rum baba' which was a little less impressive and quite disappointing actually - too basic to be impressive (it was just a warm doughnut with half a ring of pineapple on top and a small dish with a small scoop of ice cream, and they also had no vanilla!!). This did not put me off going back however, as everything's g else was perfect!
Will definitely be back here.

Gorgeous cocktails, unusual but tasty!
