Reviews of Vault City Brewing

We walked by and thought that a sour beer sounded delicious, so we went in to try it out, and we're so happy we did. The beers are amazing, super cozy interior, and a lovely guy behind the bar. Had just filled ourselves with fish and chips, so didn't try the food, although we did notice that there were wings on the menu, so if we had had space for them we would have tried. Very good playlist as well. I hope we can come back before leaving Edinburgh.

Whilst I have not always been a fan of sour beers, I believe our tastes change. Once an only hoppy drinking Punk kinda guy, I moved to Porters, Dark ale and heavy liquors. I kept trying sours and gose beers and eventually stumbled upon Vault City a couple of years ago. Maybe it coincided with close to when they started! I'm now hooked and not only use Sours as a drink on it's own, but as a palate cleanser, refreshing the tastebuds and resetting the drinking experience!
....taken from Vault Cty brewing history page, it's fascinating to see their journey!
"Back in 2018 Steve and Johnny came together over a mutual love of out-there beers and the process of taking simple ingredients and making something extraordinary through the magic of fermentation. A budding business quickly formed through friendship with wort boiling on the kitchen stove and fermenters bubbling in the background.
Fast forward a few months and the pair were up to their elbows in brews, cooking up a storm in 400L batches on the stove and fermenting in the basement. Cue the first releases under the Vault City brand – Elderflower Sour and Mango Sour. These super small batch beers landed with high praise from friends, family and, to their delight, across the industry in Scotland!
Not long after Vault City Brewing sour beers were available across the UK they suddenly had the opportunity to take beers to Beavertown Extravaganza! Getting in front of so many new people at this event was huge.
They made appearances at the likes of We Are Beer’s London, Bristol and Edinburgh Craft Beer Festivals and Fyne Fest. They even poured internationally at Brewskival in Sweden and ArtbrewFest in Portugal. To wrap up an action-packed year on the road they attended IMBC in Manchester where they were invited to compete in the Thirsty Games .
After a hectic summer touring with freshly minted Modern Sour Beers the opportunity of a brewing space opened up and they moved the brewery out of the basement and start to grow…."
The Branding & Marketing Team are great to speak to, helpful with online orders and go out of their way to give you the best experience!

Where to start. Vault City are a class act all round. They make incredible beers. That I personally think hit across the board. From people that are mad about craft. To people that used to just drink fruity cider. All love them. If you haven't had one of there beers. Grab a session and give it a go. You won't be disappointed.
They have an amazing customer service. Nothing is ever a problem for them. They are quick and willing to help.
They are all round class act. They have a tap room now. I Havent been. But its 100% on the list to do.

From a Gaelic Sea, the best imperial stout I've tasted, an absolute triumph. This beer is sheer genius, respect.

Ordered some Sour Beers and a T-shirt for my partner as a last minute anniversary gift. Great sours and so thankful for the great customer service too, meaning my order reached me by the date I needed it - despite me leaving it until the last minute to order!! Would 100% recommend and look forward to ordering again. Cheers again Charlotte and team @ Vault City Brewing.

Ordered a mixed box of beer from here last week. Arrived on time, in full, no complaints. These have to be some of the most interesting beers I've ever had, not all have been to my taste (five out of the seven I've tried so far I would purchase again). Quality is second to none and I am already looking forward to receiving my second order of some different beers! Keep up the good work!!!

For anyone that enjoys sour/fruity beer this brewery is second to none. I've had about 15 different beers from here and every single one without exception has been truly excellent.
Customer service is phenomenal as well- had a slight hiccup with a delivery this week but I phoned up and all the stops were pulled to make sure I had my beer ahead of a weekend away (the reason I bought the beer).
Worth every penny.

15/10 on all I’ve tried, this place doesn’t miss when it comes to sours! It’s scary how easy an 8-9% can go down. It’s like a smoothie! My favourites haven’t been made to sell on the site yet, but here’s to hoping 🤞🏼

I’ve tried many of these beers, from sours (they’re nearly all sours) to imperial stouts, and been impressed every single time. Hard to keep up with the number of new releases but top stuff!

I've been there collecting few pallets of craft beer. Easy access to the location. Guys out there are very friendly and helpful. No issues with loading. Highly recommend that place if you want to try unusual beers.👍🏻

(Translated) Easy access, a lot of space for hgv maneuvers on the industrial estate, I had 1 pallet to unload and it took literally 5 minutes. May it be like this everywhere.
(Original)
Łatwy dojazd, na przemysłówce dużo miejsca do manewrów hgv, miałem 1 paletę do rozładowania i trwało to dosłownie 5 min. Żeby wszędzie tak było.
