Love this wee craft beer shop, they have loads of beer on tap to try and they really do taste as described in the label it’s fascinating to hear how they make their own beers. I tried a sample of their carrot cake one for example that actually has real carrot cake in the recipe! They have an extensive range of craft beers and wine bought in as well as their own recipes. The shop has a really cosy welcoming feel and the owner is really friendly and informative. Don’t forget to look up as the vaulted ceiling the wonder put in himself looks amazing! For non drinkers they do a lovely craft cola and lemonade so you don’t get left out! Highly recommend and I’ll be back 😄 Just around the corner from Haymarket so perfect if you’re looking for a couple of beers for a train journey.

If I could rate this place higher than 5 stars then I would. It was my first time visiting and had good things about the pub and beet, and I was not disappointed. We were greeted with such a friendly staff and the pub had a great atmosphere with some incredible beers on tap. About 20 of their own beers, Vault City Brewing, were on and the bartender was knowledgeable about each one, having helped design and make them in. It's quite a small pub but it doesn't feel cramped inside, but I would highly recommend you book if you're with a few people, as it's very popular. Vault City is a sour craft beer brewery/pub but if youre not a fan of sour beers, there is still a nice enough selection that may surprise you. For example, in my picture was a Carrot Cake which, as it says, tasted exactly like carrot cake...but in a beer - and is also vegan. If the beer has lactose or nuts then it is noted on the board, otherwise they are all vegan friendly.

Quite small, but what a fantastic place. Easily our favourite bar when we visited Edinburgh recently. Brilliant selection of locally brewed modern sour beers. Service was brilliant, I can't remember the bar mans name but he suggested beers for us to try, based on what we normally drink. Each of his suggestions were spot on! He and the bar are a credit to the brewery.

Great wee place, with the emphasis on wee ! It only seats around 13 people so best book if you really want to try it. The beer is phenomenal with a friendly barman on hand to talk you through the menu.

Lovely wee bar specialising in sour beers but also has a few other options for those less fond sours. They're dog friendly and have a few nibble options as well. Staff were friendly, helpful but I definitely recommend booking although they do have take away beer and wine in case it's too busy

Absolutely loved our visit to the Wee Vault this last weekend. It's a tiny bar that packs a massive punch. Worked my way through the beer menu and loved every single beer. Joe behind the bar was a top bloke too. If Edinburgh wasn't so far from me I'd be in here every weekend 👍🍻

Wee but a grand place indeed. Fella serving had just enough chat to be friendly but not overbearing. Beer choice was wide, some stouts on as guests opposing all the sours. Maybe an odd more pale/IPA option might have been good but sure they will rotate. Vault City beers are very good & this is the best place to rattle though a few.
