Good wee pub with friendly staff. Very good price, £3 for a John Smith's on the day of writing this review.

Busy environments customers all happy that this is the first pub on the gallows gate at some point in this historical towns history it was named in the first instance by a ship owner by royal patronage royal Albert still sells fine wines food and too your heart tennents lager
Cheap pints friendly staff. Needs a little work done, especially the toilets. Cash only.
Nice traditional Scottish pub with friendly chatty staff and considerate customers. Good Covid procedures and bench style outdoor seating. Big tv inside for footie.
It's a old Man's pub, needs updating

Great food .friendly staff.tidy clean restaurant. Not to bad priced
Took a trip down memory lane with a friend a couple of weeks ago who remembered going to the Chrystal Bell for lunch with her mum and dad over 50 years ago. We didn't realise it was a ticket only day due to the old firm match, however, Donna the manageress welcomed us in and along with her staff were so friendly and helpful. Although my friend could see changes in the pub from when she went there as a child it still had the original bar and she really enjoyed spending the time there recalling very fond memories of the past. Thank you Donna and staff for excellent service
Great wee pub with Duke box, staff very friendly. You can watch the football here. Very relaxing and good music. Would highly recommend this pub
Good service in a basic but friendly pub. Prices are reasonable too.
Always been a gr8t pub. The staff are absolutely amazing and doing the best job ever at the unpredictable time. Thank u!
This is a very old bar. Full of history built I think in the 30's.
It has WiFi and that's what I needed the day I went in. The lady behind the bar was friendly and very nice. It was very quiet as it was early but I'm told it is a busy bar with tons of regulars. I like it.
This is now my third time in the old bell BT as I'd av like to try the food I was a bit l8t in the day being Mon chef's dine by 4pm. The main meals are of course mince n tatties + I'm told it's worth every penny for the £5 Steak n Ale pie with chips £5.50. Then we have the haddock the mac n cheese + a again I'm told a lovely chicken salade was chips. Bangers n Mash + then all the yummi burgers if that's your thing veggie as well of course. Also for the sweet of tooth we have ice cream + floats with sprinkles + fruity bits etc + Tea /coffee cup or pots available. There are kids portions + encouragingly special dietary requirements if there asked. I apologize fr any spelling or any other errors as they pull a lovely pint if Tennant's + I've made the most of it.
Just popped in for a pint it was just as usual good beer nice staff and.......the usual wee bunneted Glasgow guy chatting to all with a slight (limp....if you get my drift) and then requesting a taxi hame.Great stuff.
Nice Friendly Old Style Pub Staff & Customers Go Out Their Way To Make You Feel Welcome As Though You've Been In There All Your Days.
Lovely pub. There used to be a drawing on the wall. Told about the history of the crystal bells. Who were chrystal and bells. 2 different men. Involved in ship building.
Good old fashioned boozer, quiet and John Smith's bland, but that is John Smith's, and I knew what I was getting
Old school bar and pub. The food was good and the staff was friendly. We had a great time because of the local customers we interacted with.
Not everyone's taste but depending on my mood I can really enjoy a couple of hours there and the prices are great considering its a city centre pub.
