The bar is really fabby these days. I enjoyed the quiz on a Sunday night in the lounge too. Friendly staff who will give you a loan of a phone charger if your phone is flat.

Fantastic wee pub. I've been in it many times over the years, but don't live locally, so not a regular. However, it would be my local if I lived in the area. In yesterday - it's had a nice refurbishment - it looks good. It was reasonably busy - the barmaid (quite wee, with long hair and glasses) was totally on the ball, and it was very reasonably priced. Any time I'm in Shawlands I'll be sure to stop off for a rum & Coke.

Great bar, great atmosphere with great bar staff. Very clean and tidy bar and lounge with the lounge having a great jukebox, the bar shows live matches. To add and top things off the drinks are very reasonably priced.

My local pub having drank in the pub for a number of years and always had a great experience it's a great wee local but now into march and closing at 11pm I find totally unacceptable I'm a shift worker and do not understand this people work at different hours nowadays and it's just totally alien to me surely one extra hour is not going to make a lot of difference really really really disappointed great wee boozer pretty unique in this day and age but seriously letting itself down with this

Best pub in Shawlands. Great working mans bar with the sport on the big screens on match day. Has a comfy and cozy lounge for the ladies and great friendly bar staff. Live music at the weekends and a welcoming atmosphere.
