Was in the bar area, great place to stop and watch some sport. Fab with the dogs and always friendly staff.

Really enjoyed watching the world cup here over the last few weeks. Brilliant atmosphere today during the final and couldn't have been looked after better by a lovely lady called Tina who went above and beyond and always with a smile. Have also eaten there a couple of times now and the food is great with really good portion sizes. Looking forward to getting back already.

Shannah is an asset to the Granary. It was really lovely to see a young adult knowing what good customer service is. She was very attentive, explained the menu’s. Went out of her way to get my lovely fussy friend ranch sauce. I would have her train all your staff, the food was fab and a great price. We will be back, as long as we know Shannah is on. All credit to her, she will go far in hospitality. 👍❤️

The team behind the bar did great cocktails and for such a big table, they knocked them out quickly and really well. The wee star for us was Mary, she took such good care of us and seemed like she genuinely wanted us to have a good time, we didn’t get to say bye to her but please tell her thank you!! We came here for lunch, hungover and desperately needing food and drink. Our order was taken promptly by Gabbie, incredibly friendly and attentive. Went to the Granary tonight, 28/07/2021 and the service and food was amazing. Have never been before but was pleasantly surprised, the Waitresses were amazing and the food was far better than expected. We got fish and chips and can definitely say it's way better than your average pub food; menu had loads of veggie/vegan options too. Chef looked rushed off his feet as it looked like he was the only one in the kitchen but the food was amazing, so credit to him! Will definitely be back :)

Good beer, bit of old Glasgow charm as back to style of its original use as a tram waiting room. Still the same as previous, bit of old Glasgow public transport history. Like most pubs/bars has had to increase prices, but think they trying to limit it, 15p on a pint of Guinness. Still a lot less than the Church on the Hill.

Choice of beers is decent, staff polite, however the food was pretty disappointing, i know it was only pub grub but even then it fell short, the blue cheese really didnt taste right, almost menthol banana flavour, really bizarre (i love blue cheese as well) mushrooms were watery, calamari was overdone and chewy, batter was rock solid, mac and cheese just average/below par, and chicken was ok probably the best part and it was only average. A shame really cause the atmosphere, drinks & staff were good

Pub serving good food with plenty of space both inside and out. No real ale, but we are north of the border. I'd recommend the Innes & Gunn and the Punk IPA. Haven't been in a pub here that I, nor the barman, could recommend the Guinness!

Went for a Sunday lunch. Poor selection of beer but the 5 stars go to the food. Great selection of burgers. We had a beef&pulled pork and a chicken&avocado&bacon. Food arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious. Definitely a must for any foodie pub lover. I regret I didn’t take pictures.

A great pub serving very good food. I have been here several times now and the food is always of a high standard. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The back section, where I sat, is cosy and comfortable. a large but unobtrusive TV shows silent sports events. It is wheelchair friendly.

I really like this place, really nice atmosphere and there is a really good selection of food deals. However when my friend and I were in this afternoon the girl behind the bar clearly didn't want to be there and was really rude when taking our orders, she actually sighed about us as if our presence was an inconvenience. Like I understand that she was probably on a long shift but no matter whether you're working or not, this kind of thing is just rude.

Visited Friday teatime. Soon became fairly busy and we could see why. Good offering of beers, altho let down by no draught. The chicken and bacon wrap was delicious. Staff really friendly and attentive. Loved the oak panels and stained glass which gave the venue an historic feel in a modern setting... Recommended.

Homely and old fashioned pub which serves food, soft drinks, and hot drinks as well as the usual array of alcoholic drinks. The staff are friendly and the flat screens in the back section show sports games. Parking is limited in the immediate vicinity but there are excellent bus links to town and the rest of the southside just outside the pub with a taxi rank nearby. 4 stars: They didn't have in some of the soft drinks mentioned on the menu which left my daughter disappointed until she got her hot chocolate.

Nice pub and restaurant with plenty of tables. Big screen to enjoy the football or "Game Of Thornes" (take your pick). Staff friendly, good food and drinks served here. Would definitely go back if passing by the area.

Another local bar in the Shawlands area. Bar and also lounge area. Both with adequate seating and a wide range of drinks. People of all ages drink here. Toilets are spotless and the bar staff are lovely. Only downside is the smell of smoke from the door being opened constantly for customers.

Following a recent facelift we went in for a drink to the bar, possibly something to eat. They have kept some old features, especially the door way and they have added some new features too. The train running around near the ceiling is quite noisy. And the new seating area has places where there is just dead space. There is a movable larger table for groups but pushing it right against the bar doesn't seem right. The service was ok, not overly chatty.?? New to the bar. Server had to go next door for the Carling lager and spirits 25ml, wasn't asked how much mixer I would like so drink was tasteless. Expensive too and no atmosphere. There was a big scottish game on the huge tv screen but still only half dozen folk in. Might try it again one evening but not rushing...

A little pricey for the Southside of Glasgow but one of the best pubs outside the city centre for watching sport. Large projectors & plenty of smaller screens dotted about the place and shows everything from football & rugby to darts & shinty. The bar has some genuine Glasgow character which is getting harder to find since the generic pub chains took over, lovely building and loads of seats. The bar is split into 2 sections (front & back) buts its not the most obvious layout, be sure to check out both!

It was our first time having food and unfortunately it wasn’t a great experience. The fish and chips were good however the other meals that had meat was burnt and dry. Both for the steak and burgers, really disappointing. We will be back for drinks like in the past but won’t recommend for food
