The food tastes amazing. We had lamb chops and monk fish. It might not look enough but it is super filling. Great level of service, and the place was full on a Sunday evening. Only downside is the sits next to the toilets are just a no no!

Really great restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious. Much better than places in Brick Lane London. Very reasonable pricing and large portions. Reasonable seating area and staff were friendly and on top of things. Would highly recommend!

First visit to this smallish Indian style restaurant but with a Nepalese twist. Our party of 5 shared 3 lovely fresh panoramic starters. The main courses we all agreed were excellent. I had a Goan fish curry which came with a lovely aromatic sauce not too heavy on coconut with lots of whole spices. Can recommend.

The great thing about Himalayan Dine, at both the Shawlands and Barrhead branches, is that the quality is always consistent and you always know what you're getting. The lunch deals are excellent value for money. However, is it AMAZING? No. The dip that comes with the pakora is extremely rich and the curries, in my opinion, taste more like they're made with powders and pastes as opposed to fresh ingredients. But I still can't write a bad review – the nan breads are good and the service is friendly enough.

Photos don't do the food justice. Great tasting food, everything was cooked really well and was tempted to go to the following evening. I am just round the corner so I will definitely be back. Lamb chops had a tasty marinade while the saag paneer hit all the spots. I have been told to try the chicken lollipops next time. Staff were friendly and attentive and social distancing well maintained. Look forward to my next visit!

I have lived in the UK for over 20 years and always struggle to find tasty Indo Chinese style food that is a famous cuisine in India. But the chilli chicken and chicken Manchurian from Himalayan Done makes me miss Indian food less!!! I love this and it's just amazing. Special mention to the lemon and cashew rice which is sooooo yummy. Oh and the momos. Must must must try if you're in the south side.

First time here and will not be my last! The service was excellent with safe procedures in place, despite being a small restaurant. Our first meal our since the lockdown restrictions have been lifted and it was a great experience. The standout dish was the Himalyan Lamb Chops. The sauce was fantastic, thick and spicy it was the best curry sauce I've tasted for a long time. The lamb was lovely and tender and superb with the sauce. The starters were also top class - the tandoori king prawns were beautiful. My only gripe was that the naan bread wasn't crispy enough, although this my preference. The staff were friendly and attentive and happy to help out explaining the more obscure dishes. A good wee restaurant - highly recommended

Some of the best curries we’ve had both in the restaurant and as a takeaway. The Goan monkfish curry is delicious and the chicken Bhuna was fantastic. Never had a bad meal here, it’s very reasonably priced and delivery was very quick. Can highly recommend.

Delicious freshly cooked food. Great service. I really feel I need to add to this review. I had been into this restaurant 2 or 3 times before lockdown and was very impressed. Since then, I have had many home deliveries and I cannot praise the quality of the food highly enough! Forget 'glasgow curries', the cooking here is exceptional.

Got takeaway from here recently. Goan fish curry was absolutely spot on, nice little kick but not burn the face off hot. A fish curry is often too salty but they managed to get it just right. Will definitely be back to sit in the restaurant for a meal with my wife.

Went there with my family and friends. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Most of us tried the chicken sekuwa for starter which was mouth watering and has perfect balance of spices. Momos (lamb minced dumplings) was specially my favourite, the mince inside was so juicy and tender that it just melts in your mouth. For the main course we had Everest lamb chops that was amazingly delicious. Upon asking the chef the main recipe was that they keep it marinated for over 12 hours before they cook them..which made the spices soaked into the meat and make the taste exquisite. And my moms favourite was the monk fish tikka which was beautifully presented and full of flavour. Would definitely be back again very soon. And would recommend everybody to definitely give it a try.

We went there on Friday for the first time and had chilly chicken and vegetable momos for starters and Himalayan gosht lamb and basil and coriander lamb for main. The dishes were fresh and very tasty. We will be back.

Great to find an authentic Nepalese restaurant in Glasgow. We came at lunchtime and the menu was great value, just £8.95 for a two course Nepalese lunch and £5.95 for a two course Indian. The momo starter I had was delicious, like a Nepalese version of dim sum. I then had the Nepalese chilli chicken for a main course and loved it. The taste was unique, neither like an Indian curry or a Chinese dish, and it's so difficult to find new cuisine these days. We will definitely return as I can't wait to sample the monkfish curry on their main menu. A great addition to the south side food scene, go check it out

Introduction from a friend in the Shawlands area while visiting . A well received recommendation indeed We've always orederd take out and a set menu for 2 which includes 2 x starters 2 x mains 2 x rice or chips or nan and popperdoms with dips, roughly £19 pounds. I've eaten chicken tikka chasni, lamb balti, chicken karakhi and chicken korma. It's up there with the best I've had. Dishes are so clean and never swimming with hunners of oil/grease like other places I've eaten. Fresh and Taste sensations all round.

Cracking restaurant. Was Mr Singhs, now new owners who have reduced the menu and introduced some Nepalese delights. Quick service, well stocked bar, great staff. I opted out of the standard meat/sauce/rice combo to try the chicken dumplings... Amazing, filling alternative akin to dim sum. Very reasonable and relaxed with a taxi rank directly outside. Note easy wheelchair access into restaurant with no steps but one loo each for gents and ladies. Ladies loo very compact with tiny wash basin area then toilet separate so call ahead if you need assistance as I'm sure they can accommodate

A good example of the Glasgow curry house, lovely freshly cooked food, wonderful fluffy Nan bread, pakora great, even the spicy onions served with popadoms are great. Service is just right, attentive without being intrusive. Not cheap, comparable in price and quality to Bella Napoli next door.
