Reviews of Inn Deep
A. L.
Homely wee dog friendly bar on Great Western Road, adjacent to the river Kelvin and Kelvin Park. Absolutely buzzing for a Tuesday night. Great atmosphere, superb bar staff - very attentive and service with beaming smiles despite being rushed. Reasonable prices. Ample seating even with covid spacing, although it does fill up after 8pm.
Outside seated smoking area.
Plenty of water for dogs, and free treats.
The Riverside seating has gone, at least on the evenings, but still a great place.
s. R.
Top pints, beautiful vibe to it, dogs allowed and the food looked fantastic. All round, no reason not to be sitting in here.
T. R.
I'm getting on a bit now so I found the music a bit loud. However I'm still young enough at heart to say it is a really fab venue. Atmosphere is good. Location is brilliant. Beers a joy to sample. Would definitely go back. 👍🍻
C. B.
A Glasgow staple for a reason. A very cool bar with a focus on beer and good music. Does good food and has a weekly poetry night which is always packed believe it or not. One to take people to if you want to show off the west end. It's slightly hidden nature (not really being on street level) also keeps the vibe nice and groovy.
D. B.
Nice bar, with outdoor seating right by the river Kelvin, serving not bad wee selection of non-alcoholic beers & some food (& probably alcoholic ones too but I couldn't comment!). Inside tables for food are bookable & to sit outside, you'd better get there early!
F. B.
I love Inn Deep, it's such an interesting and unique place. It's surprisingly cosy and comfortable for a bar literally wedged into various connected railway arches. The food is good and very satisfying, incredible beer selection, and the weekly poetry night is great.
P. N.
Great bar if you like Joker and other fine beer's
S. H.
Great wee pub under the Kelvin Bridge, next to the park. Staff are friendly and polite. Dog friendly, bowls of water are there for their use. If you are passing, go in, you won't be disappointed
J. W.
Lovely little bar under the Kelvin bridge. Great drinks and food, and it’s dog friendly too!
K. B.
The best craft beer bar in Glasgow. Situated on the Kelvin river below Kelvin bridge. Great food, live acts and a great place to relax. Dog friendly
C. A.
Really great little bar, great atmosphere and great selection of beers. The team working there were so friendly and made good recommendations. Loved it here!
A. V.
Fun spot. Great for outdoor seating, but be mindful of the two bar system. You cannot transfer your drinks between the different outdoor areas.
R. R.
Nice vibe, Friendly staff, great range of craft ale and lagers. Burger was fantastic and on Mondays only 7 quid. Well worth the visit.
T. C.
Loveeeed this pub, great location and fits glasgow’s vibe! Nice beer selection and the food portions were huge, didn’t think i’d enjoy mussels from a pub that much. Reminded me of the hipstery ones back in London, only in the best way lol
R. J.
Trendy bar&eaterie, pub grub, trendy drinks, trendy prices.See &be seen, passeo down walkways it's like a catwalk for Wannabees;strut your stuff!!!Hobbit tunnels to eat &drink;just watch out for cyclists or anything electric!!!Look at me, look at me.Has sign outside bar, beware Electric things!!!.
c. m.
Lovely outside seating area down by the river and a brilliant selection of beers. Food was fantastic too.
A. M.
Amazing staff, great service and selection of craft beer, cider etc. Have to say the food looked pretty cheeky too and has a great ambience. Might be my new favourite bar in Glasgow! Thanks guys for fitting us in
Update - food is decent enough, seem to have gone for a more dirty food menu, fries, pizza etc which is disappointing, was decent enough but pretty much what you get elsewhere 😐
P. D.
Bar staff were friendly, and even gave me half a beer as it wasnt pouring right, shame about the masks but a nice friendly pub
L. H.
brilliantly super cool bar, it's a must visit, great selection of drinks and FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC staff 💚💚💚
M.
A very impressive pub to be at in Glasgow. They got the best sandwiches I’ve ever had! They have fusions of different cuisines so the sandwich I ordered was inspired by Korean cuisine, pretty cool! Not only do they make great food, they got a pretty dope decor too! From their dining area to the toilet, they have interesting decors all over the place. Staffs were so nice as well, highly recommend!
A. W.
All superlatives including location & staff. Great range of beers including not one (rare) but two GF beers on draft!!
j. r.
Super cool spot outside in essentially a tunnel.
Really well set up for social distancing. You see the host inside, you get seated and served at your table.
Great house beers to try and delicious chicken wings (got the Korean BBQ)
P. B.
Awesome bar on Great Western Road that you could easily walk past and not notice due to it’s fairly discreet upstairs entrance. Bar is located down stairs at the level of Kelvingrove Park.
Always a massive selection of beers available and food looks awesome too.
Dog friendly and lots of outdoor (covered and uncovered) seating available too.
Could do with a larger selection of apple ciders though.
S. M.
Good food and friendly service. I've been to Inn Deep a number of times before and during the lockdown period. I'd say they have adapted well to the rules and ensure customers are safe.
t. g.
Good atmosphere. Friendly and efficient staff. Try the house lager. It's really good.
Got some food as well. Pretty good when you've got the munchies!
A. B.
Great location by the river, good service, amazing octopus tacos and padron peppers, good selection of craft beers.
S. D.
Great little venue. Quirky outdoor area and an excellent selection of beers. Staff were all really friendly.
S. P.
Great bar, great beers. Go to place when we're up the West End.
S. M.
We love Inn deep! Great beer selection. DOG FRIENDLY! Tasty pizza and salt and chili chips. Very friendly staff.
P. T.
this place is now tradition for me .. before traveling have visit this place, drink few beers and cheers.. it's the good feel of the place .. you ll be spoilt with beer options. But apart from those, don't miss to try the hot wings- i did want to do the hot challenge but right now they are not doing it. however, they did try to give us the hottest sauce they had but no hot enough for me and my friend. But don't miss this place if in Glasgow
D. S.
Been wanting to visit for ages, it was edgy and trendy but I loved the Riverside location. Unique atmosphere and great selection of beer. Plenty of choice for non-beer drinkers too.
A. B.
Love this place! The range of beers and spirits is epic and the food is great. They are dog friendly with a large outdoor covered area. On the river kelvin too and off the road making it a great place to relax all day.
Z. Z.
Nice to be back there as I hadn't been in a while. A good atmosphere and plenty of good beers!
A. G.
Went with my work mates great place with a good atmosphere and lots to choose from with great pub food
A. B.
I had been meaning to come here for ages and finally got there. Cosy place to shelter from the Glasgow rain and try a few different Williams Brothers beers. Very dog friendly. Ours was quite chilled out but livened up when the Halloumi fries appeared. Yes they do food here too.
If you like a great selection of craft beers then this is the place for you.
S. W.
They’ve really had to adapt to the situation all bars find themselves in. Their new outdoor seating along the Kelvin is fantastic. Definitely worth a visit and a beer. Not to mention some great food. The tacos are definitely a recommendation.
Suggest your check the table situation in advance. They’ve had a combination of walk-up and bookings, so best checking the current situation.
S. I.
Underground, riverside pub. Great atmosphere and a massive selection of really good beers/ales/stouts. Variety of different clientele, welcoming to all. Especially loved that they were playing A Perfect Circle on decent speakers!
G. M.
Love this place! Great range of craft beers on offer and the coolest location for a pub in Glasgow. Good tunes. Very dog friendly too. What more do you want?!
K.
Nice bar and great to be able to stand outside on such a lovely day.
J. W.
Nice atmosphere. Nice staff. Big variety of beer. Welcomes dogs. Food tastes cheap. Doesn't accept big group bookings, over prices drinks.
T. P.
Always been a great spot. Super busy in tge summer with the perfect outdoor suntrap bu the river. Was quiet enough when we went midweek in October. Be prepared to pay a bit more than in some rival locations
C. A. M.
As it is on the Kelvin walkway and dog friendly I popped in for a wee coffee when out walking the dog and enjoyed sitting by the river having ciffee. The staff was nice and leave water bowls filled for doggies
s. m.
We where looking for somewhere to bring our dog in Glasgow we are having a short break. We came to Inn Deep with our dog last night. We did not know what to expect and we found the pub a great place but more for a younger crowd. Its a little difficult to hear because of the accoustics associated archers (basically your sitting in a tunnel shaped arch). However the atmosphere was great and good for student types.
C. B.
Great place to grab a spot of lunch and a refreshment along the Kelvin River walk
j. t.
👍Great selection of drinks, decent food, i had a chicken burger and chips, it was really good, the place has outdoor seating beside the river Kelvin, has free WiFi, its very dog friendly, it provides free dog biscuits for well behaved dogs
B. M.
Nice wee bar by the river, friendly staff, prices reasonable
I. M.
One of our PhD colleagues had invited me and a couple of friends to celebrate his last working day in our lab as a PhD student. He had already reserved us seats so getting in was easy. I am sure you can easily reserve the seats online when you do the booking. We got a really nice table that was right next to the river view. It was still summer so kind of felt great to sit next to cool breeze brushing against your face. It was not overly crowded and the staff managed the customers amazingly well. There were a few people outside. It's a great place to order a couple of drinks and have a nice time with friends. Since I do not drink, I had ordered black coffee followed by a cup of white coffee which was basically like a latte. I enjoyed the time spent with my friends. We stayed there for about 2-3 hours chit-chatting. I can thoroughly recommend this pub to anyone who's looking for a nice time with their friends. It's quite close to Kelvin bridge and River kelvin flows along the way so you definitely get a nice view and get to spend your time with nature as well- something that I thoroughly enjoy. ❤️
Z. M.
Great pub with wide selection of craft beer. Very dog friendly so bring your pup along.
M. W.
Excellent beer range - let down by one VERY rude bartender. Not a venue to visit if you wanna feel welcome or relaxed. But whoever picks the beer, knows their stuff
L. J.
Great location, best service, wonderful food & drinks
C. H.
Fun friendly pub with great decor and a really good beer selection. We were super impressed by how regularly staff came out to check on people seating in the cool outdoor arches as it could be easily forgotten :)
W. P.
Really fantastic venue - particularly good in summer. Appreciate the range of alcohol-free beers. Great music.
D. S.
Loved this place, food and beer was excellent and the staff were very accommodating around my dietary requirements. 5 stars well worth a visit
A. S.
Absolutely amazing place, great beer, great food (for a bar), friendly staff, a lovely location, and a lovely interior. Highly recommended, especially during the summer, when you can sit outside on a hot day and enjoy a a nice cool pint. There was a hole in my life while it was closed.
J. B.
Really good beers and lovely atmosphere. Good fun. Love it. Is a bit pricey but worth it. Would like to see a few more guests beers and less from their own brewery, and also would be good to have a can menu as you can't see what is in that very extensive selection. Dogs are welcome and night views over the river. Feels less town centre than it is.
A. C.
First time here. Was a really nice place and dog friendly.
K. G.
Interesting beer selection and nice food in a unique environment.
S.
Very cool pub & restaurant! Had the best time sitting outside. Our view :)
J. W.
Dog friendly bar - quality food - great selection of beers 👍
d.
Cool bar down by the water. Seating inside and out with cover. We only had drinks, but the pizzas looked really good. Will definitely be back
m. s.
Great food . Unique setting and not far from shops
I. D.
Probably one of my favourite bars in Glasgow... Always great selection of drinks and the setting is truly unique! Highly recommend 👍🏻
T. W.
Great craft beer bar with large selection. Good pizza and taco menu. Loads of space inside and out.
j. d.
First visit on a nice sunny day great location definitely be back.
A. H.
Great place, full of interesting characters & a wide selection of cask real ales, very knowledgeable staff friendly and accommodating
N. L.
Best bar in Glasgow. Great chilli and other pub staples. Fantastic beer selection. Friendly staff. Unpretentious.
b. a.
Great craft beer, great food, relaxed vibe and a view of the river kelvin. What more can you ask for. A must if you are visiting Glasgow and looking for somewhere to spend a few hours.
A. K.
The food was great, and the ambience was amazing.
Try from any of their gazillion craft and locally sourced/brewed beers. For the mains, they have a 'specials of the day' menu. Make sure you try one of those. I had sausage with mashed potatoes, and it was absolutely delicious. Would definitely go again.
Right amount of crowd, with spaces to sit both outdoors and indoors. Best part? It's pet friendly. You know the rest.
R. P.
Great range of beer, cool atmosphere. Prices decent.
A. H.
Great atmosphere, brilliant location down by the River Kelvin. Williams Draught very tasty and good value but there are loads of other beers on tap and in bottles. My friends from Germany were all really impressed with the place and those who had something to eat said the food was good.
If you get decent weather the outside area is fantastic as it's right next to the beautiful River Kelvin. As a dog lover it's also great that this is such a dog-friendly pub.
M. R.
The best place in Glasgow to enjoy a pint on a sunny day. There's also one of the best beer selections, with a few dozen taps on the go at one time.
The bar is spread over two indoor arches, one outdoor arch and some benches right beside the river. A decent range of food is available, and there are always a few dogs around to pet.
The one gripe is the lack of 2/3 measures, which would be perfect for some of the stronger beers.
K. L.
Myself and a colleague found Inn Deep by accident 6 years ago and now, when either of us, is in Glasgow we just have to go again for the friendliness, the beer and the food. Its the best place ever.
I. M.
A great wee pub. A fantastic selection of beers, ales, spirits and wines. We did not try the food but it looked and smelt good. It is a dog friendly venue. They have heated outdoor seating and some lovely views of the Kelvin.
The staff were helpful and friendly.
It can get very very busy on sunny afternoons :)
M. J.
Outstanding beer selection. Good bar food and cheery attentive service. You really can't go wrong
G. C.
Fantastic. Awesome beer selection, beautiful setting on the river, outside patio, five tables that away 6 or so each. In old railroad tunnel, old stone arched ceilings. Three separate tunnels, all beautifully, and historically appropriately done. Kitchen closed now for construction, but still 5 stars for all else. Imagine the food is as good as the beer, and setting! Very beer knowledgeable staff.
P. B.
Great place to go. Spent a very relaxing afternoon. Great selection of craft beers served by enthusiastic and knowledge staff who made us very welcome. Selection of food uncomplicated and just right for a beer and snack experience. Will definitely be going back to try the rest of the beer selections.
T. J.
Really great atmosphere, a bit hard to get seats but this is only due to popularity. The drinks are great and there is always a good selection of top beers. Lots of dogs there too so very dog friendly and social!
C. M.
Absolutely lovely. Right on the river Kelvin. Nice setting but very very busy. Not that cheap. But the view makes up for it.
P. M.
Dog friendly, staff great, food delicious, prices could be better but the look and atmosphere makes up for this, large selection of alcohol. Been a few times and its always a nice place to eat and chill out in.
A. M.
Good location beside the river and has some outside seating. Despite being in the underground part it was really light and spacious. Staff were friendly and helpful. Menu was maybe limited but was good for a lunchtime and the food arrived quickly and looked and tasted really great. Everybody enjoyed their good and if recommend this place to everyone.
K. A.
Best craft brew pub I've seen in the UK so far. Dogs allowed. Games available. Attentive and friendly staff. Great food. Unique location. Amazing beer selection, with a lot of craft beers on draft and many many more available bottled and canned.
I asked for the chili to be "super spicy," (knowing that "spicy" generally means mild outside the Indian restaurants in the UK) and the chef delivered; it was extremely spicy and delicious. The place was packed, but the staff still delivered personalized beer recommendations. Everything else was excellent.
I. C.
There are better bars in Glasgow. However there is no better place for a William Bros beer. There is no better view of the river for an outside drink/meal. No better place for an outside drink overall. In full in nice weather there is no better place for an outside drink in Glasgow. Food...hmm..but the local, beer, outside options (good for dog walkers along river kelvin) make up for less than perfect food - average pub std
A. M.
Lovely little bar with a nice atmosphere, staff are always nice and friendly. The drinks are reasonably priced considering the location being the west end of Glasgow. Also lovely view of the river kelvin if you sit outside, always lots of dogs walking past too. Would definitely recommend for a night with a few friends, can get quite busy though and it’s difficult to find a seat.
L. G.
Great bar with a huge selection of really good beers. Really nice outside area that looks out over the river Kelvin. Beware though it is often extremely busy and crowded. However even at peak times I rarely struggle to get served quickly. Added in that the outside area often has a lot of dogs running around!
W. M.
Very good plenty food nice beer
Good service
J. Q.
Love this place it's beside the Kelvin river on the Kelvin walkway.
It's dog friendly and very casual, it's busy but you will usually find a seat, a pleasant place to sit under the archways and chat, the pub grub is fine and it's not to expensive. All in all you should enjoy your visit.
K. B.
Not been for about 2 years. Not a fan of the menu changes.
Good beer selection (getting a little expensive now) and dog friendly is always a bonus. However the previously great food has went way downhill. No brisket, no pizzas, frozen skinny chips, all very bland.
Shame really used to be magic. Will still visit for a pint but won't bother for dinner.
M. B.
Great beers but incredibly loud when it's crowded. You can't even hear the person next to you. Dog friendly but I'd recommend staying outside if you bring your pup. Way too loud for canine ears.
D. D.
Lovely unusual beer garden by the river
N. R. G.
Super friendly staff and nice drinks
I. C.
The thing I love most about this place is it welcomes dogs. They won me over at that point.
Wasn't a huge fan of the burgers personally but others seemed to like it so prob just me being fussy.
If only it were a bit less noisy it'd be perfect still anywhere my four legged sister is welcome will get my vote of approval.
A. S.
I love this place because it is dog friendly and because it has a fabulous location near the Kelvin River. You can go down for a walk by the river. I felt very comfortable there. I'll come back again more times.
C. M.
Love it here the place feels like home but with a much better selection of beer!
B. Z.
One of the best pubs in Glasgow. Even nicer now after they remodeled.
Staff are always nice. Great beers. Excellent food. Not to mention all the adorable dogs passing by.
A. P.
Came here on a Tuesday night with 2 friends for a pint. Large inside with a fair number of people at 11pm. Great selection of beer, local and international which are listed on two TV screens. The ceiling is arched and made of sturdy stone as it's located under a bridge. There were several small dogs which were playing and the pub prides itself on being one of the most dog friendly, so feel free to bring your pooch!
H. B.
An amazing pup/diner, never come across such a fascinating place before. The main entrance appears to be by the Gt Western Road entrance, down some interestingly decorated and colourfully lit flights of stairs, down to wonderful cavern arch type seating areas. One leads out to the beautiful Kelvin walkway along the river, which also offers outside seating, apparently all very popular with dog walkers, locals and visitors to the area. Wheelchair access would be limited to approach from the riverside walkway. The menu looks great and they boast a selection of 27 beers.
A. G.
I enjoyed my visit here despite getting my first beer in a plastic glass - I assume she thought we were sitting outside. It can also take some time to decide what to have from the single screen display above the bar. However, two excellent beers later and I love the place.
A. S.
We love going to Inn Deep because of the setting - brilliant outdoor seating for pretty much all weather. The drinks are good too, and not expensive. There's generally loads of dogs here, which is good for us dog lovers but if you're not a dog fan it's maybe not for you.
M. W.
Fantastic bar by the river with a huge selection of craft beer. Their is an excellent selection of house and guest beers. There is also covered seating outside under the railway arches and it is very good for dogs.
D. D.
Awesome unique bar, pricey, but well worth a visit if you're in the mood for trying some fancy craft brews. Service is always on point. Sit in the outside area for the best vibes
P. W.
Excellent pub by the river serving a good selection of real ales.
K.
Popular riverside pub restaurant, lots of craft beers and range of bar meals, both at reasonable prices. Usual west end types, watch out for cyclists barrelling past. Access from Kelvin walkway or Great Western road via stairs. Plastic tumblers and goblets when drinking outside bit off-putting.Staff very friendly, no airs. Indoors based in railway arches so quite noisy though music good anyway. Kids welcome.
A. I.
Found this place from Google search and photos. Best bar I've been in Glasgow since I was here 20years ago at Uni. Fabulous bar staff, dog mad and the dog visitors make the place complete. Say hello to Charlie as he high fives for treats. Can't wait to come back.
J. R.
Went there for lunch on my birthday (5th November) I had sqid, have NEVER tasted better Squid. So tender. Hubby had seafood chowder. Both were amazing. The lightest Sticky toffee pudding to die for. Very very friendly staff. Poor Mac (The dug) got nothing from us, but did get lots of fresh water and treats. Available for all pooches. Highly recommend. A great place. Pet friendly. Great food and staff
K. R.
Great selection of whole foods, baked goods and sandwiches
W. G.
Great view of the river, nice selection of beers and the food looked good from a table over.
R. P.
Fantastic pub, very dog friendly, tasty beers. Going back tonight. 🍻🍺👍👍
E. M.
Amazing selection of beers and friendly environment. With some of the tables over the river, this place is a must in summer and sunny days. The crowd is too young and radical for me, but definitely to consider for a good drink.
J. H.
Good choice of craft beer. One of the best options in Glasgow.
L. M.
Nice pub with an extensive range of beers (and ciders) from microbreweries. Really good place to stop off on the Kelvin Walkway or if on the way to or from Kelvingrove Park. However the prices for some brews is a bit steep and you do not get a comfortable seat for the money so not a place for a long stay.
L. P.
Cracking pub with good beer and nice food. Very laid back. Burgers are good. Great location overlooking the river. Dog and children friendly. Busy outside on a sunny day.
M. C.
Beer and dogs. There are a lot of dogs. 4 legged sort, mostly friendly. If you don't like dogs it might not be for you. Bar staff easily distracted but nice tattoos and mostly tall if that's your thing. Outdoor bit has heaters that are genuinely hot. Good stuff!
C. M.
Chieftain beer, good fairly traditional pub food. Good po' boy lunch deals. Generally good service at the bar. Table service variable dependant on server (regulars really good, some temporary staff bit useless).
All in though, good chill atmosphere, friendly folk, dugs welcome.
N. S.
Lovely surroundings since the refurb. Staff extremely friendly. Food well presented and very tasty. Extensive range of craft ales and staple beers and lagers. Everything well within most people's budget. Highly recommended 👍🏻
L. H.
Very nice pub, amazing location and an excellent selection of ales. It is very easy to spend a lot of money on a pint if you aren't careful, as they have some pricey ones, however the staff are incredibly helpful and if you ask for something more affordable (comparable to other west end pubs prices that is) they will happily point you towards something, and even offer tasters if you want to try some before you buy
L. H.
Great little place. Nice staff. Great range of drinks and a lovely location!
A. F.
Great place to enjoy some quality beer and pet some dogs. Much more spacious and upmarket feeling inside after the renovations. Can't speak for the food much but at last purchase it was very competent, standard fare.
L. B.
I really like this place. It love sitting outside by the river and looking at the fairy lights. Also it's a dogs friendly pub so I love seeing numerious dogs around. There is a good range of drinks but they are a bit pricey. Foood is average. The only really good thing was nachos. And it's a lot of them!
K. C.
Quirky. Huge beer selection. Outside seating near river. Check it out.
S. C.
Lovely outside seating, with heated lamps so you don't get cold. Food was nice, ordered the steak burger which held up well. A vast selection of drinks. Dog friendly.
n. m.
One of my favourite bars in Glasgow. Whether it's a cosy single malt on a winter day or a summer pint outside, it's a place where dogs are as welcomed as the customers. Perfect location and great food.
P. B.
Always a great place for some good beers. Food is pretty decent too. There's outdoor seating overlooking the river but it gets really busy on a sunny day
M. D.
Good beer, really nice location and the strong wifi is handy too
N. P.
Great range of craft beers, always well served. Outdoor seating beside the canal allows you to while away those sunny summer afternoons with a cool beer in your hand.
H. R.
Great place for a beer and a bite to eat on the river Kelvin. Very close to the bustle of Great Western Road but when the sun is out outside seating is lovely. Also the newly developed arches give a lot more riverside space and shelter from the elements!
J. H.
A great bar right next to the Kelvin - perfect for nights out and is dog-friendly so is also good for a quick pit-stop when out for a walk. They have a broad selection beers at reasonable prices and the food is reliable.
N. S.
Fantastic bar with great environment
C. S.
Nice place, but can get pretty busy. Large choice of beers. Good food (better than standard pub fare). It's better in the summer when the front opens up onto the river.
S. G.
At the riverside deep below the surface of the main strip lies Inn Deep, an absolute ripper of a craft beer bar featuring four or five permanent taps, roughly twenty rotating guest taps, and many more canned and bottled offerings.
The selection offered is fantastic, and the staff are more than happy to throw tasters at you until you've made up your mind as to which one of almost too many great brews to grab for yourself. You can then enjoy your selection in the cosy interior, or outdoors (pictured) in a stone archway, both of which are doggo friendly. The main downside is that if you do decide to sit outside, you'll have to drink from a plastic cup.
Hop or Not? Rather large Hop of approval and a special place deep inn my heart for Inn Deep.
T. C.
Great collection of beers to choose from and try before you buy.
R. F.
Charming craft beer pub on the banks of the river. Nicely priced for the west end of Glasgow, with an ever changing selection and friendly atmosphere. Ample outdoor seating under heatlamps a real perk in the middle of the Scottish winter.
R. R. (.
great place to go. fantastic tap list. dog friendly and serves decent food. rad concept. you can drink under a bridge. lovely spot
D. G.
I didn't have any food there but the selection of beers was fantastic. Great value for money too. The location is also very picturesque if you're lucky enough to get a table outside overlooking the river!

Lovely atmosphere, awesome outside area which feels like you're drinking in the street. Drinks surprisingly cheap and a good range. Very dog friendly! Limited seating though.
M. B.
Great selection of beers (££) and dog friendly environment. Food was ok. Great place to stop if you're walking along the river or near the park.
k. c.
2nd time visitor with a 1st time visitor. Like the tardis this place is larger on the inside than you would expect, and once downstairs you can exit onto the terrace with unspectacular views of some Glasgow water. Excellent attention to detail re local licensing restrictions and general health and safety about no glassware outside which was quickly and easily swapped for plastic Will be back in July next year
R. F.
First you must go through nearly a back door and then along a tunnel to get to this off the beaten track bar.
The beer selection is extensive with local craft beers. The food stays simple and generous.
M. M.
We were there for the first time last Saturday. Great place, amazing value(I kept giving too much money for my drinks), welcoming and a fantastic selection of local IPA's. Can't wait to return.
A. M.
A cool place to get a delicious local pint. There is outdoor seating which is great during lock down, while restrictions allow.
D. J.
The best dug friendly pub in Glasgow. Great beer, amazing food, class patter
H. M.
Great and ever-changing beer selection. Plenty of seats inside and outside, and the food is really good! Some good veggie/vegan options too.
P. N.
Excellent selection of beers/ales on tap; good selection of lunch options going beyond usual pub food. Nice atmosphere + great view onto river Kelvin from patio. Very dog friendly and nice staff!
J. r.
Love inn deep we go here alot for the amazing Korean chicken wings very good prices for food and drink with a really good atmosphere andgood music too👍
D. S.
A very good selection of beer, some not badly priced and some rather expensive. So be careful and enjoy. A nice view on a sunny day by the Kelvin River.
J. T. H.
Great selection of craft beers as well as outside area by the river in summer. Very dog friendly as well.
M. N.
Pub, beers and ambience great, but our waitress seemed to have favourites and treated us in a quite patronising manner.
o. a.
One of the favourite west end student pubs with the legendary poetry night on Tuesdays!
S. K.
Been here for few drinks with friends, always lovely be it drinks or food. Prompt service, Would definitely recommend.
J. M.
Great location, terrific atmosphere. They also have a dog friendly policy, so it's a good place to go if you're a fan of petting stranger's dogs.
J. T.
Really good beer selection
P. G.
Good selection of craft beers on tap, although nothing too out of the ordinary. Food was just okay (specifically the starters). Lots of space inside.
P. E.
Fantastic location beside the river kelvin. Outside sheltered seating and dog friendly. Also great selection of beers
R. C.
Great pub with brilliant sitooterie!
B. M.
Cool wee pub. Plenty of fine ales to try before you buy. Great atmosphere. Tried the 'Ramen from the Deep'. Delicious. Bring your dog. They are more than welcome.
A. M.
Simply the best bar in Glasgow
B. R.
Great beer selection. Unfortunately I came when some flooding happened so I couldn't get a coffee. Staff were very apologetic and helpful
g. c.
A real favourite of mine, why - fantastic range of beers (casks, keg, bottled), food. Just had a diy pizza, the jalapeños woke me up. As a veggie, really good selection, would recommend the ramen noodles with Tofu. My son enjoyed the brisket sandwich and the beers. Staff are very friendly and chatty.
S. M.
Good beer and food selection
C. W.
Extremely popular taproom nestled in the arches and tunnels under Kelvin Bridge, serving local and international ales, beers and ciders alongside a formidable bar menu suitable for carnivores, vegetarians and vegans; the brisket is a particular highlight. Seating is at a premium inside on weekends, but benches beside the river and in a heated archway next to the bar are available until 10pm.
B. M.
Great wee hidden gem. Lots of different beers and ales on tap and the food is usually great too. Under renovation at the moment so food was off but isn't stop me having a great time.
F. C.
Love almost everything about this place. The selection of beer, the tables by the river, the helpful staff, the food, the slightly shabby inside room ... However it is such a good pub it's often extremely busy.
S. C.
Great selection of great beer. Food was a little disappointing. The menu promised nachos with brisket and chorizo; what I got was bog-standard beef mince chili.
E. K.
Visited here 3 yrs ago, my friends took us here for a warm welcoming party. Good service and beautiful food.
C. K.
Second time this has happened - staff can be quite rude in chucking customers out before their official closing time. I completely understand working in retail or hospitality and wanting to get home early but forcing customers out early and slamming things about ruins the great atmosphere this place has. It doesnt make a pleasant end to the night.
C. M.
Great location and friendly staff with a huge selection of Ales. The food is good with some very large portions.
Had a few minor issues, the first was that they didn't have the first two requested ales despite them being on show. We had a large party (10 people) and still had to go to the bar to order or drinks as they wouldn't take a drinks order. The fish, although nice was a bit overdone and quite hard around the edges.
S. F.
Cool bar under Kelvinbridge, easily accessible from the Subway station. They have a cool outdoor hole in the wall seating area and insides seating as well. You're only allowed to sit outside till 10pm sadly.
J. P.
Oh my goodness, I think this pub was made for me! It covers everything in my checklist about what to look for in a pub. Dog friendly, waterside seating, strong beer and VEGAN CHEESE on the menu. Highly recommended!
M. T.
Good beer and great food in a relaxed setting by the river Kelvin. Outdoor seating so you can watch the river while having a drink...although be prepared to have to wait for a seat outside in the summer!
a. m.
Lovely dog friendly pub on the Kelvin Walkway. Ideal for a refreshment or lunch after a walk with the dog/child/other half.
M. P.
Awesome dog friendly pub! All dogs welcome inside and out. Such great relaxed and friendly staff. Love this place to just come and chill and great company!
J. M.
Great place fo drop in for a drink and dog friendly. I went for the Simcoe by Overtone brewery which is a great local business turning out quality beers.
K.
Had a lovely Sunday lunch here. Staff are friendly and the atmosphere is very chilled. One of my favourite spots since moving to Glasgow.
S. M.
The wee cave bit outside is a dream and the place is overrun with dogs (which is brilliant). Grewt choice of pints aswell and the food is great for pub grub.
O. M.
Cool place, nice decor. Slightly expensive but has a lot of choices for beer lovers. Music is a bit loud though.
N. H.
Amazing selection of beer with an incredible location. Great for a mid run pint or stop off with your dog.
D. M.
Well located overlooking River Kelvin about halfway between Kelvingrove Gallery & Museum and Glasgow Botanic Gardens. Superb range of beers and you can get a bite to eat too.
T. B.
Probably the best pub in west end. Good variety of beers and friendly atmosphere. It comes with a view of the Kelvin river and outside seating, which is a plus.
S. H.
Great location alongside river in railway arch, indoor & outdoor seating, lots of dogs around (- always a good thing!), easy going place, mixed crowd, friendly staff, great choice of drinks, great Alloa stout. Fav pub in Glasgow.
R. I.
Great location with a great selection of beers as well. Always enjoy coming here, and it's dog friendly!
d.
Lovely beer, friendly staff, and dog friendly. Great place to get away from the rain that Glasgow is so well-known for!
L. S.
Lovely pub was a highlight of my holiday to Scotland, staff where always nice and they are dog friendly, great food too
A. F.
Tip notch food, and for me a highlight was not one but several interesting gluten free beers including on tap.
P. S.
Great pub! Lovely river views and an awesome selection of beers.
Not tried the food but would love to.
J. M.
Great venue to drop into on a stroll along the Kelvin. Can't beat sitting outside on a sunny day. Decent beers but always seems overly expensive. Missing the magic.
E. E.
Busy place. It had leaks next to the bar..no ideal. There is an open area with heaters, cosy enough as long as you have your coat on.
J. G.
Great choice of beers on tap. Lots of seating. Wonderful in the summer with seating on the river next to Kelvingrove!
V. F.
Fun pub next to the river. Amazing place to hang out when the weather is nice. Decent beer selection and good pub food.
A.
Decent selection of craft beers and the food was really good. Good option for any vegetarians and vegans. I recommend the halloumi fries.
C. M.
Amazing craft beer selection, beautiful riverside location (fully outdoor seating overlooking the Kelvin, plus covered arches areas open to the river) interesting menu, many dogs.
G. L.
Fab bar with a really good atmosphere and absolutely fantastic beers available. A great place for a few beers anytime, especially when the sun is out.
A. A.
Very studenty but not exclusively and a beacon of interesting beer and reasonable prices in Glasgow's West End. Nice twist on an iconic bar location.
A. T.
Nice bar, and friendly staff. But all seems a little hap-hazzard and some of the ales seemed inexplicably expensive. The food was very tasty though.
A. g.
Cool place. Great food reasonably priced, lovely riverside seats, dog friendly, fantastic beer, and very friendly staff. Top Glasgow pub.
A. X.
This place always keeps me on my toes with its selection. Consistently impressive. Great interior (both inside and out), great staff and an exceptional setting, right on the Kelvin.
I. L.
Let's in dogs, and weans and serves me nice beer. Could not ask for more in a pub. Nice wee setting on the side of the Kelvin too.
W. K.
Best beer selection in the West End. Cool venue. Cater to everyone though, standard local beers or fancy imports from all over.
A. B.
Inn deep is a good food serving pub by the river. It's beautiful in the summer as you can sit outside next to the river. It also has events going during the week.
R. K.
Great pub with good selection of beers and tasty cider.
Great with the dogs too, one of the most dog friendly places in Glasgow with lovely staff
S. F. A.
Most awsome bar in Glasgow. Craft beer mostly. The cave above the river is unique.
P. H.
First visit. Amazing selection of Craft Beer! Awesome menu too. The setting tops this place off. Love it!
F. E.
Lots of Williams Bros beer here (it's their brew pub) as well as good portions of food such as Burgers, Nachos, Pizzas.
Free wifi, unusual to find Williams Bros Beers as well as guest ales.
A. C.
Love Inn Deep. Good drinks, good food and generally great staff.😘 location is great and all the doggos coming by is amazing. Definitely a favourite to visit.
I. M.
Absolutely Fantastic Place For A Swally And Food 😊
I Love It 🥰
N. G.
Absolutely delicious food and a ton of options for different diets (vegan, vegetarian), I would highly recommend!
Only small issue is that it was quite a small space and very busy (due to the fab food and service) so it could be a little crowded
Z. C.
The staff were all so lovely when we were there for the dog event! Such a great atmosphere and we will definitely be back!
C.
First time visiting today and I loved this place ! Just asked for a wee side of chips and a drink for me and my husband we sat outside and soaked in the atmosphere , the staff were friendly helpful welcoming and the chips were delicious!!!

G. T.
Great bar with a variety of craft beers that change regularly enough. There's seating out back by the river which is always busy on a nice day.
S. A.
Great pub overlooking the River Kelvin with outdoor seating. Has a dog friendly area as well.

One of the Best places to be in Glasgow. Just by the Kelvin River in the heart of the west end parkland, near Kelvinbridge Station. The Stonework, the people, the community. Clever, Arty, Clean and Sco''ish.

K. J.
Dog friendly. Generous seating. Outdoor seating and standing areas. Well priced. Near water. Love it
M. L.
Great beer, great location, great food! But the staff(some of), really need to get their self-righteous, wanky attitude tae f**k!
P. S.
Really relaxed pub with a fine selection of beers, not sure about £9 for a pint of guest beer though. I stuck to Williams for £4 a pint.
A. G.
Great place with so many seating options! Can't wait to go back...particularly enjoy the poetry reading night on Tuesdays.
A. M.
Staff are a bunch of poseurs who believe that if they work in a mediocre bar they are way to "cool" to do a decent job. Good setting though.
J. P.
