K. B. T. A.Lovely enthusiastic Barmaids, I say that as I've been bartending for 6 years and these girls are actually good at their jobs and keep a chilled atmosphere. Was in on sun 24/07/22 around 4:30-5:30.
4 drinks & 2 tequila shots for £27 not bad for Sauchiehall st. Nice looking bar. Good drink choices. Clean establishment. Would reccoemend. 👉💯
P.Typical city centre boozer and a bit tired but to be fair the food was very good. Menu is mainly burgers, steaks, dogs and wraps with some vegan options. Moretti on draught. Toilets down 2 flights of stairs. Staff friendly pleasant and helpful. Handy for pre gig food if visiting The Garage (almost next door)
A. M.Quite a confusing venue. Drinks were brilliant, fiver Friday being a great deal. Some of the Interior decor is really poor and gives off an old pub vibe that is trying to be a cocktail bar.

Have been to the restaurant in Merchant City and this is almost as good. Food was quick and hot and so tasty!
A. W.Life wasn't very lively when I was there so it fealt like a bit of a life sentence. They could start a club call it Lifers,. All puns apart this large bar has many tv screens so is good for watching sports and it had a solo artist playing a variety of songs on their stage. The bar is over 2 floors and was comfortable, the prices seemed a little steep but service was good although as I said it wasn't busy

The do 2ft Hit dogs as well!

m. m.In Glasgow for a concert and struggled to find a bar open after 11.30 on a Sat night to get a couple of pints. Hubby n I were debating heading back to hotel when someone said Life Glasgow is open. Well.......the bouncer was magic craic, we went in and immediately got served by a young lad who served us for the next hour n half. Jay, you were very friendly, amusing and polite.Thank you so much for listening to hubs n I rambling haha, serving us several times with such good banter and making then nicest long vodkas I've had for a while esp as you made it properly!! You totally made our night as we are a bit old for nightclubs and just fancied a wee dram. Absolutely great experience and hope we see you again when down on the 23rd.for another gig. You made our night xx

T. J.Had a burger and milkshake, delicious they both were, but so much I could not finish it all. The beefy cheese burger was just as it said on the menu, delicious with their own cheesy sauce. It was the lunchtime special so it came with skinny seasoned fries, a spicy garlic butter corn on the cob and the house coleslaw. Way to much for me to finish but a very enjoyable tasty meal, I think around 8pound all up. The milkshake was the house special "Freak of the Week" which was a peanut butter and banana milkshake, so full of flavour but adding that with the burger was just too much for me to finish and I was a starving Marvin before I entered. The staff are very friendly and fast to serve you, the place was busy but I got seated and served very quickly.

D. W.Food was OK, but they should tell you young chap with blonde hair how to smile or appear at least slightly enthusiastic. No one checked on us to if everything was OK or came near our table so ordering a 2nd drink took longer than it should have. Its been a while since I've seen somewhere care so little about putting in some effort at work. Class loaded fries. Don't buy the "whole hog" for yourself like I did. I thought I could handle it, but there's no way one person can eat it!
S. L.The food fantastic, they had a huge range of drinks and the cocktail menu is brilliant, even if what you want isn't on there they will make it for you. The atmosphere is great and they have live music at the weekends as well as a dj.

W.Great food, awesome atmosphere only negative was when it came to paying at the bar.. 2 drinks came to £8, I shouted to the bartender to just make it £10 by way of a £2 tip, she appeared not to hear and gave me back just £11. Kind of glad I didn't pursue in giving the extra tip if I was getting shortchanged anyway.

First time to the life one as I'm under 18 and didn't think I was aloud in but I was and the menu food is the same but my burger was a tad burnt and I could taste smoke from it :( Don't know if it was chargrilled but just a bit different from the others. staff were sweet but only checked backed once so when I ran out of coke I never got another. They asked for drinks after our food was cleared but my friends unfortunately asked for the Bill. Will go back I really like the staff and the foods still amazzing!! :))

S. W.This bar was formerly the original campus. It certainly has changed since then. The bar has a good number of beers on tap and decent selection of spirits. I noticed a many different cocktails being mixed as I waited at the bar. The decor is quite plain and dark which doesn't seem to suit the size of the place. Campus was always a bright and vibrant place, whereas LIFE appears to be going for a different vibe.
I would say that the owners are wanting to attract a more upmarket clientele, certainly based in the prices which tend to be more toward the higher end of the scale for Glasgow city centre.
As for entertainment, I cannot really comment. I was here on a Friday night on the run up to Christmas, and the music tended towards cheesy pop with Christmas songs, as many bars and pubs play at this time of year to attract office party crowds. The music may be different on a normal night.
Overall, the bar is not terrible. Its clean with a good selection of drinks, the customer service is good. Its not particularly the kind of place that I would regularly visit, but I can see why some people would like it.
